When no other dr would take me serious about staying sick. Dr Farooq did and knew what the problem was. He is a terrific dr and will help you fix a health issue.

Dr Farooq is very caring and has a heart the size of Texas all his staff is great also

The most effective physician I’ve encountered. His patient interaction is kind and consultive. Dr. Farooq correctly diagnosed and solved my medical issue that $23,000 in testing did not even identify.

I love this Dr I have been seeing another Dr for 3 years and she did nothing really for my arm even though I was in extreme pain. This Dr is very very nice and really cares about his patients. He is so very helpful.And gets things done. He is the best Dr and I diffently recommend him if you are looking for a Dr that really cares.

I had my first visit with Dr Farooq today - and I couldn't be happier about establishing a partnership with this Physician! After 19 years with another primary care physician and 57 years of age (more aches than 19 years ago) I was concerned about starting over. First — his staff! My first call to schedule was so pleasant (even had some laughs!). I told the receptionist (Maria) i hoped she was a reflection of the rest of the staff and Doctor she worked for. I was not disappointed. Dr Farooq listened, asked great questions and was so present. His kindness was palpable. I was given everything I needed for the next best step in my health concerns. Even called back to ask his staff to send a fax to one of the testing facilities I needed to see and it was done so quickly.

My sister and I, both from out of the state, went with my brother to an appointment he had with Dr. Farooq. He was absolutely the best Dr. I’ve ever experienced. He was approachable, gentle, kind and really went out of his way to listen to my brother’s and our concerns. He explained every thing in a way that we all could understand. Knowing that my brother lives alone in Texas and that my sister and I live in other states, he said that he will regularly check in on him for us. He willingly gave us his phone number to be able to contact him with any questions or concerns. I can’t recommend Dr. Farooq enough and wish everyone could have a primary Dr. like Dr. Farooq. I went to Dr Farooq on yesterday 1/9/22 my Bp was extremely high , Dr Farooq would not allow me to leave his office until he got it stabilized. I felt that he was very concerned about my health. He listened to my needs it felt as he genuinely cared about me . I’m a new patient of his and I feel that we begin to create a caring relationship. Dr Farooq is an awesome dr. He takes time listening to his patients even when he.is busy. When my dad was hospitalized in Dallas the office found out and called many times to check on him.

Dr Farooq has been my families PCP for about three years. We are all very comfortable with him and he has provided a level of care for us that we haven't found with other physicians.

Dr. Farooq is very knowledgeable and caring. He is now our doctor for four generations of our family. He takes care of the simplest of ailments to the most complicated. We feel very confident in his diagnoses and care. We would recommend him most heartily.

DR Farooq treats my mother He always takes time to listen to my mother. And his nurse and the assistants are extremely nice. SO RARE IN OUR BUSY WORLD THERE IS STILL A DR THAT WILL COMPLETELY TAKE TIME AND MAKE SURE MY MOM IS HAPPY AND TAKEN CARE OF.

I am really happy there is such a caring and kind doctor near the place I live. Dr. Farooq does his best to take care of his patients. He listens patiently and professionally to them and I hope no one will get ill, but in case of illness Dr, Farooq knows his job very well.

I've been seeing Dr Farooq for over 14 years he's a great caring Doctor very professional and always very concern and will listen to you! Yes it's hard to find Doctors like Dr Farooq that not only treats whatever you came in for, but cares about your overall health. Over the years I have met several of Dr Farooq patients and have never met anyone that didn't feel the same way I do about him, they all say he's a great Doctor. Dr Farooq, his nurses and his entire staff work together as a great team. I know that's the way Dr Farooq likes to run his office. :))

Dr Farooq was more than I had expected. He took time with me to establish a new patient relationship and build the confidence and communication that is needed between patient and doctor. I look forward to him being my primary care physician. Additionally, his staff was friendly and helpful.

I loved going to this office, Dr. Farooq and his staff was attentive and listened to all I had to say. Answering all my questions and even repeated themselves as many times as needed till I understood. He was kind and made it very easy to trust him and talk to him about all medical problems I had. If you are looking for a new doctor he’s the guy. His MA in the Frisco office was also kind and funny, she made sure I was comfortable and listened to everything I had to say. All of them very helpful

OMG!!!! Truly Amazing. Dr. Farooq, is very professional, caring, knowledgeable, and he listens. He does not dictate your treatment, instead he collaborate with you to determine what will be best for you. The most humble doctor I have encountered. Also, the young lady at the front desk in Frisco is the sweetest person. BTW the drive was worth it.

Dr Farooq is the best internal medicine specialist I have yet to see and I have seen a few over the years. He listens to your symptomatology with compassion and patience spending more than 2 minutes talking with you unlike the other doctors that do not seem to care as much. He is passionate, happy and loves his work. He as often worked me in for urgent situations with a smile. Sometimes it seems like they're overbooked but the office staff nurses often get you in as soon as possible. Michael

Dr Farooq took the time to listen to my complaints and diagnose a missed hernia. He is patient, kind, and thorough with his assessment. I feel better than I have in years! His staff is amazing as well. Whether needing a refill or an appointment, they are always there to assist with a friendly attitude.

No nonsense doctor. Does not order a slew of unnecessary tests and talks with me about my health in plain English. In the past, been to doctors who want to have a slew of tests and bloodwork done before they even prescribe an antibiotic for an infection... I can only guess they are looking for the next ultra rare disease to diagnose. Dr Farooq will talk plainly with me, and, if the tests don't affect treatment, skips them and gets right to the treatment.

I've only been going to Dr Farooq since August of last year. I really like him and he's very good at what he does. He will help you out with your prescriptions if you can't afford them. Does not effectively manage chronic conditions. Doesn’t suggest tests and labs that seem necessary for keeping on top of my health issue. I feel like he doesn’t like being asked questions. I feel like I accomplish nothing at my doctor visits. He has prescribed medication to me that other doctors found questionable. Time to find a new doctor.

Dr, Farooq is an excellent physician with the perfect match of knowledge and compassion.. He actually listens to his patients! I've never felt rushed or pressured to hurry through an appointment regardless of how busy he might be. He has always taken the time to explain diagnosis, test, test results, actions required etc. and actually discusses, rather than dictates, any course of action needed. I have the utmost trust in Dr. Farooq and highly recommend him.

Dr. Farooq has an incredible ability to listen. I had been under the care of Dr. Farooq for almost 3 years for routine medical care. During the last visit I decided to "mention" a problem that I've had for over 20 years. No doctor had ever helped. I resigned myself to this being a condition that I had learned to live with. After explaining the problem, the symptoms, the pain, and all the treatments I tried; he gave me a recommendation. Unbelievable....I'M CURED!

Not your typical doctor: much more personable than any doctor I have been to. He listens to your comments/concerns and provides in-depth answers that are easy to understand. He spent at least 30 minutes going over a health improvement strategy with me, even drawing out diagrams and notes on a piece of paper that I could take home. You can tell he has a passion for improving people's lives. Highly recommend.

I was pretty skeptical about my new primary care physician that Molina Healthcare chose for my husband and I, but after I made appointment with Dr.Farooq and met him I was very pleases with him treating me as his patients. Dr.Farooq is very down to earth and intelligent individual He thoroughly listens to his patients,examine them, requests lab work and pretty much he does whatever he can to to help his patients. Dr. Farooq is by far the most knowledgeable, well rounded physician I have had the pleasure of being a patient of in all of Hunt County. He is trained across several disciplines and offers a complete picture and care for any and all of a patient's health concerns. Dr Farooq takes the time to talk with you and assess you as an individual.

Dr FAROOQ has been my dr for many years now. I was very nervous trying a new dr back then. He put me at ease right away. I had several health concerns and he was so genuinely caring, patient and kind. Ive had some intestinal issues in the past year and he has referred me to a gastrologist at UT Southwestern. I am very happy with the dr I am seeing for this. My husband and my son are now seeing Dr FAROOQ, and they have been very pleased with the care he is giving them too.

In order to express my feelings about Dr Farooq expertise and worth as a physician; let tell you I'm 62 years old and incredibly picky. Dr Farooq is the best Dr it has ever been my good fortune to be treated by. He actually knows who you are. He remembers you, and your individuality. Seriously. Don't see much of this anymore. He's an amazing diagnostician. He thinks of details no one else would. Thorough is a good word here. He demands and inspires excellence in his staff.

Great Doc, vey perceptive, easy to talk with and in my case fixed my problem. Needs a bit faster office exit procedure. Once again you will have no problem here.

Being a new patient, I was thrilled with the time he spent with me to get to know me and my medical condition. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I felt he was truly listening to my concerns, not just trying to move me along to get to the next patient. I am looking forward to a long and trusting relationship with Dr Farooq.

I only have good things to say about Dr. FAROOQ as a doctor. However, the nurse he employs in his office detracts from his overall level of service. She is high strung and rude. I was trying to get medication for a relapse of stomach infection my wife had. We looked on line and it said the infection has a tendency to return and should be tested for again four weeks after treatment. I called in and asked if we could get the medicine and the nurse said we would have to come in. I had no problem with that. I was going to ask if we could at least get a prescription for the lab test that is required to diagnose the infection. But before I could get the words out, she said her decision was final (I wasn't in disagreement with her). I began to speak again and she told.me to take my wife to the ER. I tried to explain she was not listening to what I was trying to ask her and that's when she hung up on me. I tried calling back 10 times and my call was never taken. Shame on that nurse. Shame on a practice that doesn't listen to its patients when they need help. I only have good things to say about Dr. FAROOQ as a doctor. Dr. Farooq takes the time to listen to his patients and truly cares about getting to know them. His background in cardiology is a major advantage for helping with my blood pressure issues. Plus, his office has the equipment for doing lots of testing on site.

Highly recommend! Dr. Farooq takes the time to not only understand you medically but also to understand you personally which I love. I've traveled for work in the last few years, and have sought medical care for several age related issues and accidents. I've even been to the Cleveland Clinic. My experience with Dr. Farooq and staff has been more pleasant than any I've had in years. He listens, is thorough, and seems very knowledgeable. His staff answers the phone and goes out of their way to help. My wait time, both on the phone and in the office, has been minimal. I highly recommend.

It took a while to get me back to his office and was Curt an rude when I got in there! When the nurse took myself and my daughter to a room he wasn't attending patients he was as!king up and down the hall on his cell phone!I was a new patient and his greeting to me was not a welcome !et me help you it was what was I doing there! Not good bedside manners as far as I am concerned. Even left one of my medications off the list ! And hasn't responded to the pharmacist request to fill!
