Great Dr, hate to see him retire soon!!

Thorough and knows his business. He is retiring soon, he will be hard to replace.

I've spent years trying to find help for my medical issues. I've had doctors tell me everything from I was a hypochondriac, I was crazy, or I was imagining my issues. Dr. Rubenstein listened to me, looked at my tests, my medical history and was the first doctor to tell me there was a problem and we'd find it.

Very caring & friendly atmosphere.

Prompt on time doctor visit accurate with knowledgeable nurses.

Dr. Howard Rubinstein has been my primary care doctor for 30+ years. He is a wonderful doctor. He will do whatever he can if you are not feeling well. He has a great bedside manner and a very kind doctor. He tries to get to the get to the root of your sickness and then helps you. I would not want to go see anyone else. Always efficient, very knowledgeable, and a genuinely kind and great doctor, and person!!! He has been my doctor for a long time, and has helped me thru many health issues, which I sincerely appreciate!!! THANK YOU Doctor Rubenstein!!!!

Highly disappointed with this group! Called @10am for an antibiotic to be called in. Didn't receive a return call until 430 telling me that they can't call it in, i would need to make an appointment and they are about to close so they suggest i go to an Urgent Care. With COVID-19 and a mother with congestive heart failure an Urgent Care is the last place i want to go. it was just an antibiotic that was needed!!! Highly disappointed with this group! If you want unprofessional care, this is your place. This place is the biggest joke of a doctor's office I've ever seen and it hasnt changed one bit in years for the bette, you're better off trying to fix anything you have wrong with you with OTC treatments than letting them try and help you. Dr Rubenstein should just stick to being a mayor because his medical practice is the laughing stock of anyone who has ever been there. Take a look at your reviews Doctor and learn from them. You have a vast majority of 1 star reviews for good reason. The nurses will tell you that your medications are ready to be picked up at the desk, and when you get there they tell you come back tomorrow. You come back tomorrow and they still arent ready. How hard is it to print a piece of paper and sign your name on it? This place is a joke. If you want unprofessional care, this is your place. Dr. Rubinstein is great!

Great people amazing employees as soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles I didn't wait long to go to the back and the employees were very polite outstanding job to Dr's and other employees employed there

Dr. Rubenstein is fantastic and we are proud to be apart of their organization. AMG has everything you need and the staff and providers are extremely kind and helpful!

I LEFT THAT OFFICE YEARS AGO BECAUSE OF THE STAFF AND DOCTOR HE NEVER WONTED TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAD TO SAY. I CHANGED TO DR WEST I LOVE HIM

I think that this Doctor 's office staff is a poor excuse of health services personal !!! It takes them to long to get very important messages back to the doctors !!! I took my mother to his office on the 18 th of this month with a list of meds that she would be out of refills on before she would return to see him again !!! Now she will be out of her heart meds in the morning !!! Thanks to his office staff or someone at this office dropping the ball somewhere off of a mountain i guess !!! I think everyone at this office needs to be fired except for the ones that are actualy doing their jobs !!! Which isn't many !!! I Guess i will have to take her to the E. The BCBS insurance I have requires a primary care physician and referrals from them for literally everything even yearly gyno visits. Dr Rubenstein has been my primary care dr for over a year and ive been there probably 5 or 6 times and i have never met him only his PAs. Most of them are great though. Recently I called to get a referral for a chiropractor because I have a crooked spine amd regularly get cricks in my neck that make it difficult to work. I went ahead and saw the chiropractor and called for a referral. The nurse said they wont give me one because they need to see me first amd dont think i need chiropractic care I guess. What would a primary care dr do for a crick in the nexk and injured spine and neck?! And then she said no it's because you havent been in recently enough. I said well i know I've been in this year and it's only june? I know you guys are in it for profit and don't want to do the referral because you can't charge my insurance or me for it. They flat out refused even after i told them ive already had the appointment. So they'd rather me be in pain and visit them for them to do nothing and wait longer to get care. Just so they can male money. I highly suggest not using this doctor or practice as the wait times are also long for in office visits. Why do i wait 30+ minutes every time when i had an appointment. My husband and I love Dr. Rubenstein, but his office staff is terrible! We have had nothing but problems with them calling in medications, or lack there of! Today I called to have them call in some refills, explained the situation that we are truck drivers and dont always have the opportunity to stop just anytime, but that we were down for the day. The first lady I talked to was nice and understanding, however when I called back to make sure the nurse had received the note, I spoke with Brittany, who was not very nice at all! She is extremely rude, and if she has that kind of attitude, maybe she doesn't need to be working in the public! I tried explaining the situation to her but before I could get all of it out, she very rudely told me that there is a 24 to 48 hour grace period on calling in medications. Then hung the phone up. Generally been very happy coming here for years. But do you have a patient portal anymore? the one you were using doesn't seem to keep up to date anymore, and the new group you are with...I cannot find you listed in offices to connect with.

Waited 2 hours and no sign of doctor

Once was a great practice. Now all you will see is a doctor in training. Guess mayors are to busy for patents. Not to mention after having life inus. For 20 years they dropped me due to whatever the office replied to insu. Company!

New patient. Had an appointment today @2:45pm and was told (to my face) that my medicine will be called in. Here it is 7:40pm and my local pharmacy still haven't received a call in. Needless to say they just lost this patient, really needed the medicine. That was the purpose for doctor's visit and paying a copay. WILL NOT RECOMMEND very unprofessional and no excuse for them not doing their job. ***UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE*** That is sooo not true upon leaving AFTER my son had been seen and we were at the front counter, Alexander Averill P A asked me which pharmacy do I use and I clearly told her either RiteAid or Walgreens. Since RiteAid is closing we confirmed that it would be sent to Walgreens. Keep in mind my son was (yes was) a NEW patient. After I tracked down where his medicine was the next day I still couldn't get one of the meds until after 2p the next day. To make a long story short it was pure *** trying to track down his meds that he so needed the day of his appointment not the day after. Thankfully, a wonderful Walgreens Pharmacist assist me with tracking it down. I am noticing from the reviews that this clinic like to follow up with comment to the reviewer post that seems to twist the truth. New patient. Great Doctor but I can't believe i actually stayed on the phone for 6 Min waitin on some1 to pick up. Hung up call back and the samething. Went to hospital tried again and something wooow... I'm looking into finding another doctor.

Huge thanks to Alexandra Averill PA-C. I was lucky enough to have her diagnose an ear infection. It was in that appointment that she made me at ease to the point that I discussed some other issues I was experiencing. She was very understanding and listened and encouraged me to come back so that we could get it all figured out when ithe time was more convenient for me. When I returned she was genuinely happy to be able to help me and glad I had come back. She listened to all of my symptoms and put me through a myriad of tests including things that needed immediate attention. Through all of this there are a few things she is still monitoring but I am very confident in her diagnosis and thankful for her referral to complete my treatment! So thankful to be getting my health back. Every person on the staff treated me in a kind professional manner and followed through each time. First off I've been going to this place for many years now I never seem to see the same person I have to really explain my entire history every time I go there. The front staff steadily talks smack about patients as you sit in the waiting room. When I call with questions and they tell me they're going to call me back it takes days or sometimes I never hear from him at all. Countless times I have had prescriptions sent over to the Walmart across the street and they never get sent they don't care if I have my medicine. I don't know what they think they're doing up there. I've been going to this place because it's so close to my home but for any of you people thinking about making this your doctor's office find somewhere else. They only care about you paying for visits and talking trash about people that just left. The front staff is curt and act like you ruin their day when you call. I don't think in the 20 years I've been there many of them know how to smile. The waiting time to see Dr. Rubenstein is very long, but worth it if you are able to see him. He's amazing but that office needs better time management and some compassion classes. The nurse and doctor were the nicest. Front staff is rude. I was told I would get a call Monday about my lab results and I never received a call. I called Wednesday and front desk said a nurse would call me that day...still haven't heard anything and it's now Friday. The patient portal info they gave me to login in with doesn't even work. Excellent Doctor, caring and attentive. The entire staff are professional and kind. They know my needs and know me by name. I tell all of my friends about Dr. Rubenstein's practice.
