This woman is terrible. I came in for anxiety treatment of emetophobia and explained to her that it was caused by a bout of food poisoning. Her response was, "well, I have an upper respiratory tract infection and I'm not anxious." First, why the heck is she practicing with a contagious illnesss? Second, upper respiratory tract infections do not make you vomit, where is the relevance of that statement? She basically minimized my anxiety with he own illness.

She posts negative reviews on her own profile in response to legitimate reviews from her patients invalidating them more than she already did when they were seeing her.

She allows you to blame your anger on other people rather than trying to help you

Ms. Levine is only a good counselor if you do not mention that you are being abused by a parent, everything except physical and sexual. She is a strong believer that you are in control of everything around you, including the abuse. She believes that the abuse occurs because you allow it to occur. I saw her on Psychology Today and I should have trusted my gut; her picture makes her look like a rude person. She refuses to listen to any truth about the abuse and pushes you in the wrong direction.

Ms. Levine is unhelpful and does not take things seriously. She has a strong agenda that everyone allows for their problems to happen. For example, an adult victim of abuse by their parents are allowing it to happen by not confronting them even when the victim says talking to their parents will do way more harm than good. She assumes and goes on her own assumptions without getting validation that her assumptions are correct.
