If I could give 0 stars I would, this provider is the rudest most ignorant doctor I have ever encountered. I am 18 weeks pregnant and have been passing out daily. The episodes have become more aggressive and more severe by the day. When I brought my concerns and questions to this provider he shook his head, laughed in my face and said “you’re wrong, and you’re fine, people who pass out pass out, if you feel like your going to pass out lay down. I said yeah I already do that, I came here to learn what I could do to prevent it or to find out why it’s happening, why my BP is dipping so low and my HR is so high. He continued to dismiss me and talk arrogantly. so I said I’m all set thank you. This provider fallowed me out of my exam room hollering “ they just jump off the table and want to leave so I don’t care if she wants to come back in a few months or not” and I left. I recommend you finding any other cardiologist but this one. And if you are pregnant do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor.

This doctor has no bedside manner. He was on call for Christmas and my dad was not feeling right and has cardiac issues. Without hearing what his issues were he was dismissive and rude. Iwanted to pawn me off to his primary without me getting in a word. He seemed put off and annoyed. Isnt the purpose of being the cardiologist on call to be on call and back up???No self awareness. My elderly father was not feeling well and is currently under a cardiologist care at Hawthorn Medical in Dartmouth, MA. Unfortunately, his symptoms were concerning to me and it happened to be on Christmas. Dr. Bier was the on call doctor and when he called me back he was obviously annoyed that I had contacted him. He did not even allow me to explain my concerns and immediately began to tell me I should have called his Primary not him. He would not let me get in a word. I understand it was Christmas but if your on call for that day regardless if it is a Holiday or not shouldn't you be more concerned with the person on the other end. Dr. Bier you lacked empathy, compassion and you were just unprofessional. Not sure how you would have reacted if it was your family member.

This man saved my life at the age of 41, I went to him with a rapid heartbeat, he did an EKG and saw that I Had WPW,(wolf Parkinson's white disease, he then called Boston , spoke to the Head of the physiology Dept and got me treated, after 3 cardiac Ablations, I am fine with No Heart trouble at all ,!
