Dr. Imtiaz A Malik

Tried to call and someone literally picked up the phone and hung it up without a word.

I've been a patient of Dr. Malik for years. He is a great doctor, has monitored my labs, prescribed oral medications, prescribed my chem port, prescribed my port medications & port maintenance, helped me with medication side effects & more. The other staff who take vitals, make appointments, access/give meds/flush my port are all good at what they do & have become like friends. I've been a patient of Dr. Malik for years. I give him NO STARS but this review did not have that option!! My dad was diagnosed with lung and lymph cancer and has been under his treatment for 5 months. At this point I am very frustrated and have lost trust with his staff and his practice. When I call from my phone the VM is always full for some reason but then I block my number or call from a different number they magically answer. Dr. Malik claims to have a multi-disciplined team and highest possible care. I beg to differ. I have everything documented and have also contacted the Medical Board. Now I'm going to add...that he is very unprofessional and inappropriate and rude..I've witnessed how he treats his staff in a disciplinary manner in front of everybody and then turns his finger on me and my daddy and tells me to leave the building.. but I refused to leave my dads side while we are waiting for my dads treatment, so he threatens to call security on me to have me removed (in front of staff and waiting patients) ....what kind of doctor refuses a cancer patient ..If he had something to say to me he could've taken me to his office for a private chat. Needless to say me and daddy left the building and finding a new doc. I give him NO STARS but this review did not have that option!! Frequent doctor absences. Though insurance paid for pre-treatment medication, was required to purchase at pharmacy myself for them to administer. Doctor refused to learn anything regarding my diagnosis other than what medication it took to treat. Per his words, I was a body in a chair (receiving treatment) and that was the extent of it, yet was only informed of that after years of treatment (3 times a week)

Great doctor at first but when your case gets to be more complicated he doesn't care and neither does his staff. My mom was seeing him but when she moved to Clovis from Merced everything changed. As of 1:45 p.m. January 7, 2016 my beloved momma passed away. He's not worth it!!! Nobody ever answers the phone. Mail box is always full. Get your ---- together. Your reputation is on the line here.
