She diagnosed me with generalized anxiety and sent me home with breathing exercises week after week. I moved to Portland shortly after and found an attachment based therapist who helped me discover my BPD and cPTSD. Her page says she knows EMDR and DBT which were critical in healing me. I wonder why she didnt introduce me to them.

I have seen Ingrid off and on over the last several years and I am repeatedly amazed at how helpful she is. Besides being a kind, compassionate and empathetic listener, Ingrid provides straight-forward, practical solutions. She has helped tremendously with my depression issues, and provided marital counseling. She has been very helpful in helping us parent our strong-willed teenaged children. As a parent of her own special needs son, she 'gets' it! I couldn't 'do' life without her!
