Dr. Valencia is a terrific physician, and an ever better person. The best dermatologist I have ever seen.

I went to this provider because the other dermatologist I’ve seen (who is also part of PH Dermatology), did not have any appointments available in the near future. First, the online appointment booking system is flawed, and I spent 20 min in the waiting room while the receptionists tried to figure it out. When I was called back, the entire appointment was uncomfortable. The doctor was cold, distant, and did not explain her thought process well. She left the room to get a few things, and I could hear one of the nurses stop the doctor to loudly complain about a teacher in the nursing program. After 5 minutes of that, the doctor came back and forgot what she had left to get. I’m particularly frustrated that she picked a less ideal medication option to fix my issue, reasoning that the more ideal option would be a risk if I were to get pregnant. When I looked it up at home, the option she went with is actually riskier according to the FDA. I firmly do not recommend them.

Excellent experience. Front desk is helpful, courteous and efficient. PA was knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Valencia was everything you want in a doctor- knowledgeable, efficient and kind. So glad my primary physician recommended me here!

Dr. Valencia is my first dermatologist and it was a very uncomfortable experience. She did not listen to why I was there and was fixated on a concern that one, I knew I didn't obviously have and two, never mentioned being concerned about. As far as treatment, I hadn't been concerned about prescriptions but more about why I'm having this issue and what I can do to fix it, even if it's just a different face cleansing procedure. She moved so quickly that I couldn't even express that and did not seem the least bit interested in treating me at all. I was in-and-out in under ten minutes and truly left feeling embarrassed for going to a doctor at all.

I have been seeing Dr. Valencia for years and she is wonderful. She always asks about my kids/job (and remembers what we talked about last time) and then addresses all my concerns quickly and efficiently. I am confident in her abilities and have been very happy with the treatment I've received. Highly recommend.

This was my first visit to this office and I could not have asked for anything better. From check-in with Michelle to the nurse that assisted named Alisa to check-out with Kati, the entire staff is so kind and so efficient. Then there is Dr. Valencia who is so chill, very good at what she does, makes you feel super comfortable, and you feel as if an expert has got your back. I very much appreciate the personal and professional combination. The office is super clean and very modern. Overall GREAT!

Dr. Valencia is a great physician but the office communication leaves a lot to be desired. I called once due to a cyst being infected and having to go to the hospital due to the pain and discomfort and they did not even try to fit me in the do the removal of the cyst before my scheduled appt. I then show up to my appt and I had to reschedule because the wound was not yet healed. They should of known better and they didn't. I then show up to myrescheduled appt late and they want to reschedule me once again. Very friendly staff and Dr. Valencia is very knowledgeable about her field of work. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a dermatologist.

My experience was very different from other reviews. I took my young teenage daughter to see her and Dr Valencia was very cold, didn’t have any interest in listening to our concerns, did not want to discuss various treatment options- only 1 option interested her. I had seen many dermatologist before Dr Valencia. That is not the case anymore. Finally found the best!

I visited Dr Valencia for the first time last week and was very pleased with her examination. I only go once a year for my annual dermatology exam and she is very thorough and listens very closely to what you think is important. She is also very pleasant and when I left I told her that I really enjoyed my visit!!! I would recommend her and her assistant Cheryl to anyone. It was a very good visit and I feel that they are experts in their field.

I went with acne problems and had to tell her she should prescribe adapelene and benzoyl peroxide. I have been a patient of Palm Harbor Dermatology since October 2017. I have visited the Westchase location six times to-date, and was (and still is) treated by Dr. Valencia. Dr. Isabel Valencia is superbly skilled, noticeably courteous and sincerely interested in the well-being of her patients. Her calming manners and respectful patience are second only to her exceptional professionalism. It is quite obvious that this practice is very well-managed, well organized and an observably dedicated medical provider. I strongly recommend this highly competent medical practice. I recently changed dermatologist and selected this practice. Love love this practice. The office is calm not a chaotic waiting room. The doctor Dr. Isabel Valencia is on time and very thorough. Recently had a superficial basil cell removed. No pain and quickly done. Love the assistants as well. Very friendly and made my visit a stress free one!
