Dr. Ivor Benjamin

This was the worst doctor I’ve ever met. He was late, had not even looked at my records, could not answer questions about my pathology report, belittling me when I asked, tried to do an unnecessary checkup and wants to schedule me for unnecessary surgery. I would never let this man lay a finger on me.

He knew right away what my problem was and got me in for surgery within a week. He is a very caring man even though he's done this thousands of times

Dr. Benjamin is an excellent and extremely gifted surgeon! I recently had to have a very large ovarian cyst removed, along with the affected ovary, that is, a right Oophorectomy. I was in considerable pain before my surgery! Dr Benjamin's thoughtful and prompt attention for my care and well being was so encouraging and comforting! There was concern, of course, that the cyst might be malignant. Therefore, Dr Benjamin's expediency in getting my surgery scheduled was so very reassuring and very greatly APPRECIATED! There were no complications at all from the surgery. Thankfully, the cyst turned out to be benign. I am now recovering quickly and healing well! Dr. Benjamin was able to use the De Vinci robotic laparoscopic technique for my surgery so that it was minimally invasive. I was absolutely amazed at how tiny and insignificant the outward markings on my abdomen were at the entry points for the internal surgery. I doubt I will even have any noticeable scaring from the surgery. But, most significantly, the surgery to remove the cyst was 100% successfull! I have complete confidence and trust in the excetional surgical skills and competence of Dr Benjamin! I would definitely seek him out as my surgeon should the need ever arise again. Dr Benjamin's thoughtful and prompt attention for my care and well being was both encouraging and comforting, especially considering the possibility of a malignancy. I was grateful and appreciated Dr. Benjamin's expediency in getting my surgery scheduled. Thankfully, the cyst turned out to be benign. There were no complications from the surgery. I found Dr. Benjamin to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about a personal condition. He spends the time to listen to you and give you his expert experience. I feel very at ease knowning he is my doctor.

Dr Benjamin is an amazing dr. I had the hysterectomy with the da Vinci and the surgery went great. My body unfortunately hates me and I had to have it done twice. He left part of my ovary so I wouldn't go into early menopause and it formed a cyst and I almost bled out, but he was quick to the hospital to fix it and now I am recovering well. Thank you ??

His announcement of my uterine cancer was cold and crass. He was not sympathetic, caring or kind during my chemo treatment nor the follow up visits. I waited over an hour every time I went for a routine check up. I was extremely disappointed in his service. His two PAs are no longer with him.

Doctor made me feel very uncomfortable when he started making comments about people who can’t pay their bills like “illegals” who sign up for Obamacare and get his services for free. That’s not professional. What he doesn’t know is my husband is Mexican. Wouldn’t let this man remove a wart.

After a scary call from my OBGYN, Dr. Benjamin got me in the next day to review my scans. His sense of urgency was great. He was kind and explained his concerns about what he saw. Also he was able to get me in to surgery in two weeks! He performed a hysterectomy with Da Vinci method and seems to have removed the cancer he found. I begin Chemo very soon. He and His entire team has been caring and sensitive to me and with my family about the diagnosis. They are saving my life! God bless them!

The doctor saw me 6 months after operating on me and had no clue that he had operated on me until I reminded him of the sequence of events leading up to surgery. I am a surgeon and he even forgot that. Further surgery was required and I was shown where the scars would be. I woke up from surgery to find 5 incisions across my upper abdomen-none in the location he said before surgery! It looks like I was stabbed by someone. No 2 piece bathing suits now. His training is misleading.
