Dr. Jones did an excellent job on my mother?s total hip replacement. It was a difficult case due to total disintegration of her hip socket, making the joint fluid white and thick, resembling pus. He halted the surgery in order to ensure that the joint was not septic, sending joint fluid to the laboratory for analysis. My mother was brought out of the anesthesia and kept comfortable with a nurse attending her in the recovery room until Dr. Jones could determine the best course of action. The lab at the South Meadows hospital did not want to analyze the fluid, believing it was pus from an abscess, and they wanted to send the fluid to the main lab downtown which would?ve caused a 6-8 hour delay. Dr Jones called the lab and insisted they analyze the fluid ASAP on site as the patient?s outcome was hanging in the balance. The fluid with sterile and was white due to deteriorated bone. Her surgery was completed 2 hours later, and her recovery has been miraculous. She has her life back!

I am a new patient of Dr Jones...I was very in impressed with his level of experience and confidence along with his willingness to replace a knee that a local surgeon botched in 2019...He was kind and personable..I'm a high risk patient and Dr Jones told me he was going to make me dance again...I'm excited and looking forward to successfully being able to walk and dance again without pain and difficulty...Thank You Dr.Jones for a great first impression and appointment.... Dr. Jones understands athletes. The demands on their body required from the sports that they participate in. His skill and expertise with joint replacement is world renowned in the athletic world. He was able to replace my knee after a catastrophic injury that few other doctors could’ve accomplished.

I was referred by my regular MD. Dr. Jones did a total knee replacement a year ago, no problems what so ever. Now he is helping me with a hip issue.

I was blessed to have Dr. Jackson Jones as my Surgical Doctor for my Right Hip Replacement in Feb. of 2021. It is a miracle in my opinion how well I have been recovering from the operation. From the Staff at ROC to the Staff at Northern Nevada Hospital in Sparks who work and worked with Dr. Jackson Jones...I appreciated how I was treated thru the procedures. Turns out I was caught in the middle of a personnel/staffing issue that has since been resolved. Authorizations finally processed correctly and treatment for my knees went very smoothly. I went to doctor Jackson Jones for my routine hip replacement surgery big mistake. At surgery number one which should have been the only one he infected me, the staff forgot to call in pre-med antibiotics, since I was staph aureus positive. After that I needed 2 revision surgeries and when I was finally clear of infection on surgery #4 where I was supposed to get dual mobility hip he gave me the wrong hip and the placement was completely wrong as well, the hip dislocated two times with no falls just standing, second time after a month of physical therapy. Rock climbing has been the guiding force in my life for the last 40-plus years and I had no desire to quit. I needed another surgery I had to fire Doctor Jones.dr. Watts saved my life with surgery number 5 and I can climb again the hip has been functioning like my own for the last year. Couldn't be happier with Dr Jones and staff. Professional, personable, patient, and considerate just to name a few. If I had anymore hips(both replaced), that needed medical attention, I'd be right back in his office. Can't thank them enough for my new parts.

8 years ago I had a knee replacement that started giving me a lot of trouble. It would look lock up on me and the pain was horrible. I went back to my original doctor on 3 occasion's and he just brushed me off even saying he didn't know what was wrong. At the suggestion of a physical therapist I went to doctor Jones for a second opinion. Within a minute he knew exactly what the problem was. He did a revision surgery a month and a 1/2 later and I'm doing well. I think he is an excellent doctor and I am very pleased with the way I was treated. He was never in a rush, willing to take the time to answer all my questions, and treat me with respect. I highly recommend doctor Jones.

I was referred to Dr Jones thru my family doctor and also my Orthopaedic Spine docter which had done spine surgery on me years ago. After having injections thru my hip that did not help the pain I met with Dr Jones and we went over that I needed a total Hip replacement due to being bone on bone. We scheduled it after 3 weeks. Docter Jones was just fantastic. I went in at 8:30 am and by noon, I was asked if I was ready to go home. After being visited by Dr Jones and going over my surgery, I was shocked how my pain was gone and already standing and walking the hallways. I walked out of the hospital a few hours later, the same afternoon. Dr Jones is a miracle worker. He was professional and caring. After my follow up approximately 2 weeks later, I went to see him which they took Xrays and went over my new hip. I’ve had many surgeries in my life, but never had the care and great results that Dr Jones had given me. I owe him everything to my new life and future of no pain from miracle hands

I've had both hips replaced by Dr. Jones. He is brief, informative but to the point. I've had great success with my surgery's because I did exactly what he asked me to. I couldn't have been happier with his performance and he will be replacing my knee soon. I have every bit of confidence in his ability and professionalism.

Outstanding! I'm 65 and had 2 total knee replacements. I didn't even need to use a walker post OP. 8 weeks out, I have amazing mobility now!

Amazing surgeon. SO good that he has become THE SURGEON'S SURGEON. His frontal approach is less invasive and therefore less painful and healing is much faster than incisions on the side of the hip.

Dr. Jackson Jones is amazing! My procedure went seamlessly and recovery was the same. It is unfortunate that the phone receptionists are absolutely terrible! They interrupt, sigh in frustration and have horrible attitudes. Calling for the simplest things are a chore and numerous follow ups are often required. The arrogance cannot be understated. He won't see you when you have problems, which he seems to have much more often than his orthopedic counterparts.

TKR 2016. Two months later, knee was frozen. Under anesthesia it was bent to 120 degrees which broke the lower portion of the knee replacement. Dr. Jones said to “work the knee for 1 year, and it will get better”. It didn’t get “better”. It got worse. Dr. Jones refused to see me and I saw his PA, Renee. She said it looked good and ordered a bone X-Ray. Renee was not concerned my tibia and fibula was dislocated out of the appliance. In 3 weeks, I will have a revision by a DIFFERENT surgeon.

I work for a different doctors office in another state and trying to get help from this office for continuation of care for a patient was impossible. Unwilling to help at all.

Jackson Jones meets and exceeds my high expectations of health care. His patient interactions while brief, are to the point yet spoken in terms any commoner would understand. He knows his job and provides care that supports that. His team also provides a level of care not often seen anymore. They all interact with one another harmoniously, leaving no doubt that you are in truly good, caring and knowledgeable hands.

Considering the complications of my hip degenerative condition, I was more than pleased with Dr. Jones recommendations and scheduled surgery for hip replacements for both. It eliminated long chronic pain, suffering and immobility that I endured for over 6 years. Great staff and always available prior and post surgery. Three words - competent, professional and thorough. I am more than satisfied by the care that I received.

All staff very professional. Dr. Jones was quick into the point. Instead of making me come back the next day made special arrangements for me to get all my work done same day. All in all I was there less than an hour at the answers I neededand was in and out thank you Dr. Jones and staff

while I never really got to know Dr. Jones I can only say that I am truly happy with my surgical experience and outcome. I thought that my construction career was over and didn't know what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I had both of my hips replaced and I feel better today than I have for the last 25 years. I highly recommend Dr. Jones if you need your hips done. I am back working construction with more energy and proficiency than I have for years. Thank you Dr. Jones.

Amazing knowledge and skill with a understanding of athletes

I had my right hip replaced approx 4 years ago by Dr Jones. Several days after replacement I was doing lots of activities and yard work outside without any pain or difficulties. I recently had an appointment with xrays. My hip is healing perfectly but it was evauated that my back is in need of therapy. Dr Jones recommended exercise to help my problems.

Dr. Jones had me feeling at ease during my initial evaluation. He listened and provided excellent feedback to my questions.

My left hip had all the weight bearing surfaces worn, creating so much pain, I needed crutches.. Dr Jones quickly fit me into his surgical schedule. Almost 3 years later, I’m in great shape and loving life!

Wonderful doctor! Great bedside manner. But it has taken almost 2 months to get through his office to get scheduled for "the only option is surgery" surgery. The whole experience on my two total knee surgeries was amazing. Walked out of both on one crutch only. I had very little pain. Awesome experience!!!!!!

I waited for 2 1/2 months for my appointment with Dr. Jones, who came recommended, and I'm glad I waited. I discovered he is the only doctor in Reno that does the less-invasive anterior hip replacement rather than the posterior replacement. No cut muscles so recovery was much quicker. I couldn't be happier with the results. No 90-degree rule to follow, no restrictions, just resume what I had been doing. I'd highly recommend him. I don't have much of an opinion of Dr. Jones; he spent about three minutes with me. The check-in check-out process is arbitrary and a nightmare, his staff has an exceedingly superior attitude and don't like to be questioned or second guessed. If Dr. Jones allows his employees to run roughshod over his patients, what kind of care is he going to provide to me?

Dr Jones operated on my hip one week ago today.....I was so afraid of surgery and the minute I spoke with him, I knew this was my Dr. He's extremely professional, he's very kind but clinical as to your needs, choices, expectations. My surgery was a success, little to no pain, he had to remove many bone chips so the surgery was longer than expected....I feel terrific! I shopped Doctors for a year...please do yourself a favor and make an appointment with this young man, you'll be very happy!

Had t ask to see dr jones. As as a PA came into room.. When appt was scheduled I asked specifically fir an appt with an MD.. Not happy about that ... Staff at very front desk made to phone calls to patients .. So not only heard patient names .. But there conditions. .. Can you say hippa violation !

Dr. Menmuir saved my leg after I got shot. Other doctors in the ER said they would have to cut my leg off, but Dr. Menmuir was the on call Ortho surgeon and 9 years later, I'm still walking on it.
