I had a total tear of my Achilles’ tendon, with pronounced bones spurs. As an avid tennis player, I thought my playing days were over. Dr. Zide performed an excellent repair that has got me back on the courts at 100%! He’s great technically with a wonderful bedside manner. DFW is fortunate to have a foot & ankle of his caliber.

IMHO, an absolutely terrible doctor. Listen to the negative reviews here. My ankle will never be the same. The doctor simply cannot keep a schedule. Plan on a 30 to 45-minute delay for each and every appointment. Yes, his time is that much more important than yours. The doctor is incredibly arrogant. Most importantly, do not let this doctor near you. You are better off seeing a witch doctor.

I was disappointed that even though I told him the prescription topical works on my left foot when it aches so bad at night he seemed to not pay attention. Instead he said we could experiment with 80 dollar orthotic inserts. I told him I can't afford it I was laid off in April due to COVID19 and then gave me recommendations for shoes that are expensive. I said I care for my adult son and he comes and before I could finish he waved me off. He said we can do surgery if you want, but you don't. All I need is the topical so I can use it at night when the pain is bad. I left there with no affordable solution that would be covered by my insurance.

God complex.

I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He left my left foot jacked up. He was short of the guess work he did on my surgery and then stated he was like a mechanic. That is sad and disgusting. I am partially handicap and need another surgery to clean his mess. I will never, ever trust him and unfortunately I have to live with his mess which is painful and has altered my life.

Dr. Zide recently did a bunionectomy on my right foot. He and his team have been wonderful to work with. They are accessible and take the time to explain everything and make sure my questions are answered. He is honest and straightforward, and seems genuinely committed to achieving best outcomes for his patients. He has a wonderful bedside manner. So thankful he was recommended to me, and would highly recommend to anyone else!

Dont use on foot surgery.

I was so pleased with my foot pain consultation and treatment discussions with Dr. Zide today. He showed great empathy and was discerning in his recommendations. In addition, his staff was quick, thorough, and efficient. Never liking to go to the doctor, I found this about as good as it could get! Great medical care well delivered.

Great docor, listened to questions, answered all questions. Offered alternatives to try instead of doing surgery first which I really appreciated. Will for sure recommend!

Dr. Zide may be my hero. He performed a long, thought out, and complicated series of cuts and grafts on me inside of less than three hours in the OR. I am actually hopeful for the future, and it feels like I may finally get my life back! Dr. Zide is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and very nice. Highly recommend! He did not shy away from the mess my leg was and for that I will always thank him!

Dr Zide is amazing! He is the only doctor that ever gave me hope. I have extremely flat feet and one was bothering me so bad I had trouble standing on it. He did reconstructive surgery on one foot and since August I am now moving around very well. My scars are flawless beacause his stiching is done very well. I am going to get the other one done after everything heals. I have been to a ton of foot doctors and he is the only one that stayed positive and truley cared about my quality of life.
