Dr. Jagdish Patel

This Dr. Jagdish Patel is no longer on staff at several hospitals. Dr. Patel really needs to retire or just take blood pressure of patients and tell them you're fine. If you have a life threatening problem please find you another Cardiologist asap! The test result of my family member was sent to him, for urgent medical follow up, and treatment plan and he didn't bother to read the result, or explain the result to my family member. I had as the MA, to call him back for at least a referral to a vascular surgeon. No, I wouldn't have him as a Veterinarian. Oh, yeah he tried to give my family member some glucose trial meds, and she's already on metformin, and her a1c is 5.5. Is he crazy? Plus, that's for an Endocrinologist to make that call to change. Once, he got angry with me for questioning him about my family member. This Dr. Patel, need to retire and never look at another patient for the rest of his life.!!!!!!!! Goes beyond the call for care with me and my family. I’ve know Dr. Patel for very close to 20 years. His office is very accommodating to needs and scheduling. Dr. Patel’s office is really helpful with prescription issues pertaining to pharmacy glitches and are always on top of things. Very responsive and attentive...

I had my second daughter March 16, 2011 albeit her sister and she are 21 years apart . I was released two days later and the very next day I almost died. Healthy pregnancy and normal delivery; consequently I developed heart failure. Thus my chance meeting with Jagdish Patel. Been hospitalized a few times throughout past 8 years. Dr. Patel from my experience has always ruled possibility's out and gotten a factual diagnosis. He's thorough. ..funny at not often times...has express himself unbenouced our going back and forth verbally expressing different opinions. But one thing never changes...we can agree to disagree which have been a couple of moments without any primary doctor and/or patient concerns. I like that ol' Dr. Patel and the young ladies which makes up his team. Such as Ms. Rena Ms. Erica the young lady who administer echo gram and finally baby girl Jessica whom I've given the nickname of "J". Great doctor! Been seeing him for years!!

I’ve been going to him for years, he’s a very good doctor! He’s really caring, and concerned for his patients.

This doctor also works at Franciscan Health Hammond on Hohman Ave... He is horrible with communicating with patients. He is a complete moron. Very rude/disrespectful... Not thorough when speaking with patients. I've never met a doctor that speaks to patients in the manner that he does and makes his patients cry. Just a horrible individual that shouldn't be in a practice if he doesn't like to communicate with patients. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Dr Patel is a really good doctor. He is caring and really takes the time to address your concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel's for over 30 yrs. He has always been extremely profestional, & is an expert in his field. He has helped me through many illnesses. He is truly committed to his patients.

He listens, he care. He has never steered me wrong!
