Dr Brodsky did emergency surgery on my right ankle almost 30 years ago. I haven’t had any issues whatsoever, and I will forever be thankful!!

Dr Brodsky did surgery two years ago and I underwent a 3 hr surgery yesterday to correct the damage that Dr Brodsky caused. It was suggested the toe be amputated to totally correct issue.

I had a left foot bunion surgery in 2019 with Dr. Brodsky and he and his team were/are amazing. He's extremely thorough with all questions/concerns prior to the surgery and post-surgery care. Him and the entire team have great bedside manners and really show empathy and sincerity at every visit. I also want to shout out his PA Laura Lynn McDonough, who's amazing as well. Since my surgery, I have run 2 half marathons and have no issues. Will be going back to get surgery on my other foot soon.

I'm furious with Dr. Brodsky! I was scheduled for surgery and 2 months later he canceled with out an explanation and has refused to refund my $200 that I was out. This is very unprofessional and shady!

He canceled my surgery after it was set for two months. Refused to refund my out of pocket expenses and now I have to wait another year for my surgery. I will never understand people that put money ahead of the welfare of other people.

Dr Brodsky did my surgery three years ago and my foot has never been well and I can’t do anything I used to do. He didn’t care my foot was messed up and said it was “ pretty good”. No compassion at all and runs patients in and out like a factory. He spent about 5 min per appt with me. I’d never go back to him or recommend.

Jim Brodsky performed bunion and hammertoe surgery on both of my feet. One foot came out okay. The second bunion surgery, not so much, but I did not want to go through all of the trauma to re-do that one. Further, the hammertoe surgery resulted in a much worse condition than it was in originally. So much so, that I scheduled a second surgery to have him attempt to repair his bad work. I suppose, shame on me for thinking that he could fix it. It came out even worse the second time! And continued to cause me so much pain. Adding insult to (literal) injury, he never owned his mistakes; he just shrugged them off and said: Go on in and speak to Jackie to set up another surgery. What impertinence! I finally had to find another doctor to have a third surgery to repair the terrible mistakes that this guy made. STAY AWAY!

This was my first time at this office. I came in with a sprained ankle and I was surprisingly worked in that day for being a new patient. I was running late for my appt and they were so nice about still working me in. All of the staff was so nice and I loved the PA Jami who I saw. Would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Brodsky and his staff are the most professional, knowledgeable, and caring physicians' office I have visited in my 60 years. I saw 3 orthopedic specialists before finally doing some research and finding this one. It was so worth the two-hour round-trip drive (which I often made once a week). And the only times, maybe 3, when there was a long wait was when I had a late morning appointment. After being told by other doctors I was lucky my foot wasn't amputated and that another doctor wouldn't touch me, Dr. Brodsky fixed me. I can walk again very well after 3 years of using a knee scooter. I HIGHLY recommend him.

Best of the best, literally. Did my Achilles surgery last year. Fantastic doctor.

I am so very thankful for Dr. Brodsky. He gave me my life back after 2 previous unsuccessful surgeries & no hope for walking again. We drive 7 hours to see him & he is so worth it. I would drive however far I needed to see him. His staff is wonderful too.

Dr Brodsky and his whole team are so wonderful (R, NP,.MA, Billing, casting) They explained all the processes very thoroughly. Surgery is a BIG decision to make as a patient and Dr. Brodsky and his team are very good at not making the decision for you they give you every bit of information you need. I have to say that "I disliked all the boots, therapy, casts before they make there decision BUT, this is an important decision they have to make and I can tell you they do not make it lightly which, I appreciated SO much as it is my body we are working on, my pain, my quality of life. I could not say enough about all the positive help i had with this team of qualified medical field. Thank you for taking good care of me through this process. Took my daughter through many surgeries for a crushed ankle and was great surgeon who took care of her and kept us informed.

Went on for foot pain. 3 MRI'S / 8 weeks in a cast. 4 weeks in a boot, all they kept saying is yea its very swollen. No better now than after all this and 5 office visits. Ruined my whole summer being in boot and cast for basically nothing. All he and his assistant say is we like to be cautious and take it slow and this is the way we do things. Basically no Idea what to do and continue to bill my insurance for repeated tests. Done and going to get another opinion. Wait times are ridiculous over 1 hour each visit and trying to get a call back from someone there, good luck.

Dr. Brodsky is probably the most proficient, kind-hearted, knowledgeable, gregarious doctors I have ever known! His compassion is unmatched. He makes you feel as if you are the only patient he has, and he has doctors from all over the world who come to train under him. To top this off, he’s very humble! What a man! You cannot go wrong with him. with him.

I found Dr. Brodsky very intense & focused on perfection. He was thorough in explaining what my surgery would entail, and what I would need to do following surgery.

I had been a patient of Dr. Brodsky's for 23 years and had multiple surgeries and broken bones repaired by him. In the past two years the experiences I have had were worse than deplorable; down right despicable. On my last visit which was 6 hours there was no listening, treating me like a 5 year old, and telling me how I should feel. His course of action made my condition so much worse it is taking 3 other doctors to start a new course of action and months to not only correct the problem

Dr. Brodsky is the best in the Dallas area! I’m surprised by some of the negative comments. I went to other doctors before seeing him for a second opinion. He was the most thorough and I ended up using him for my surgery. He answered all of my questions and took great care of me. My surgery was major, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. He and all of his staff are amazing!

Wonderful. Quick in and out. Great bedside manner. Classy and truthful. They want you healed and don't want to have you keep coming back.

I had bunion surgery from Dr. Brodsky. He was perfect, and he spent a lot of time with me to explain the surgery and my options before hand. His expertise is unsurpassed.

I am so happy with the results... so far.... of my foot surgery. I had two botched surgical jobs performed by a podiatrist who offered nothing to correct the deformed foot he left me with after he was done with me. My foot was a deformed nightmare and so much worse than if I’d had no surgery at all. Dr. Brodsky was recommended by a co-worker whose wife had good results from his work. Dr. Brodsky and his staff made me feel welcome and at ease about the whole process of correcting my damaged foot. Dr. Brodsky took many hours surgically working on my foot, removing old hardware and straightening my toes. No longer is my foot a crooked deformed mess! It now looks better than the left foot!! I am still limping a little when I walk and can only wear certain shoes, but that is to be expected after only a few weeks post-op. I highly recommend Dr. Brodsky if you need foot surgery. Good doc and well known in his field. However, wait times are a problem. If your have an appointment, don't expect to be taken back for a good 45 minutes after the appointed time. And that's just for the pre interview with the MA. It would be nice if he and his office were more punctual.

I have had many surgeries and have many doctors as personal friends. You won't find a better Doctor or staff. Exceedingly professional and when it is time totally focused on you and your care. Great experience with my surgery and aftercare. His PA's are excellent as well..Dr Lynn is great. He fixed my bunion and hammertoe and I am good as new. He is honest about what was involved and let me decide if it was worth it to me. He never pushes you to do surgery . He is honest, compassionate , and skillfull. My husband WAS a patient of Dr. Brodsky. After waiting for 2 hours for a scheduled 5 second appointment, Dr. Brodsky renewed his prescription for shoe insert. This visit was required by the Dr. In addition to spending 2 HRS waiting for the appt., the billing department keeps sending me past due notices on an invoiced that was paid 6 months ago. I contacted the billing dept 6 times and was told Misty was handling it. This experience goes down as the worst doctor's office ever. BEWARE!!

Dr James W .Brodsky did a STAR implant for me in December of 2014 , he has excellant team for anyone who need the Star implant. He is the best orthopedic surgeon that a person could have, i was genetically deformed and he restored my ankle movement to a place i though was impossible, i was told that fusion was the only option until I met Dr.Brodsky and was so astounded by his answer to my situation that I had to think about the answer he gave I can fix it. So I left his office, totally astounded and had to call to set appointment to get it repaired, HE IS THE BEST AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED IN HIS FIELD. THANK YOU SO MUCH, DONALD F. Dr. Brodsky is the best foot/ankle surgeon in Dallas. He has done one of my surgeries and has treated friends and family. If you want someone to be on time all the time and be coddled then go to a smaller practice with fewer patients. If you want your problem solved then go to Dr. B.

Beware!! Dr. James Brodsky gave me permanent disfigurement. He is all about the money!! He is not passionate. His practice is a factory. He will not provide you with follow up care. You will see his assistant. Stay away!!!
