I had gallbladder surgery , He was late to the surgery I was not prep for the surgery I have a hairy chest I was not shaved before surgery I did not know that until after the surgery when the nurse mentioned to me that he really refused to shave my chest especially around the areas that were going to be cut isn’t it standard practice to clean the area before cutting on someone to keep from contaminating area to be cut ,The first cut on the naval area shows some infection when I had my staples removed he mentioned to me that he save time by not shaving me because he was off on or off schedule and that he was trying to coordinate his time I guess he was running late on other surgeries seems like I was sacrificed I hope that I don’t have any problems in the future were pieces of my chest hair got into my stomach area. This was my first experience of any type of surgery scares me to think that he didn’t take the time to clean the areas they were going to be cut . To relaxed on routine !

Did a gallbladder removal on my father who had gallbladder cancer. Not only did the doctor fail to recgonize that my father had cancer but he also spread the cancer cells all over my fathers body during surgery. This caused my dad to develop Stage 4 Galbladder cancer. Had we had a competent doctor who did his due diligence, my father wouldn’t be in near this bad of condition

Excellent surgeon. I work in surgery and have seen him firsthand. I would let him operate on me any time!

Dr. Maguire performed surgery on my mother without hesitation and even though it was a Saturday, he scheduled and performed the surgery that afternoon so my mom would not have to suffer pain all weekend & have a better quality of life. He was matter of fact & spoke clearly with me and family members, which I respect. I highly recommend Dr. Maguire completely.
