Dr. James Reilly

I was so nervous going into surgery, but Dr. Reilly and his staff were wonderful throughout my entire experience. I loved how personable Dr. Reilly was from the first initial meeting to the end at bedside. He was thorough to any questions or concerns that I had. I wasn’t another ticket to him. He was attentive, caring, and even made me laugh. He was so thoughtful of my feelings and concerns. I could see that he genuinely loves his job, he genuinely cares for his patients, and is excellent overall in his profession. He went out of his way so I could feel calm and rest assured that I was going to be in good hands. I would highly recommend him to all my friends, family, anyone. Thank you so much Dr. Reilly!

I was seen by Dr. Reilly who showed me the stone Catscan of my hernia. He gave me assurance he could repair the hernia putting a wire mesh in place to secure the intestine . He then got me set up with scheduling for April 27. I then was sent for pre op EKG and blood test .I was very pleased for the completion of the process in one afternoon. Very pleasant. Office people were helpful and patient. Nurse extremely helpful. Doctor great. Explained procedure. Answered all my questions. He could tell I was nervous. He was reassuring without being condescending. One of my most positive doctor visits.

Waited an hour to be seen, then another 15 min in the room for the doc. He was kind and a good listener. He was accommodating when scheduling by surgery. However, he walked out of the room and never said bye. We weren’t sure if he was finished with us or what. I had to ask the nurse if we were done with our appointment. The nurse was very nice! Dr was very gentle and very good. I would recommend him. Hi assistance was very helpful and caring.

The staff that works with Dr. Reilly is very friendly and helpful. When you call, you actually get to talk to a person, not a computer or confusing recorded message that sends you in six different directions. Dr Reilly himself is also very easy going and was willing to spend the time needed to explain what was ailing me and my options. Not easy to find this kind of care in the medical industry anymore. Dr. Reily is so sweet. He is the kindest Dr., listens to everything you have to say. Then explains everything in detail to you. He's thorough with his exams, and makes it a more relaxed setting with his humor. Lets you make the best decision for a procedure to your comfortability. Facing an inguinal hernia tear in my 50s is reason for concern. Both pre-operation and post surgery, Dr. Riley always made me feel at ease with my ignorant concerns and questions. He is very thorough, professional and assuring as a patient faces uncharted territory. I would highly recommend him as your face any surgical procedure. I even had called in between visits and with his return phone call, he was not bothered or troubled by my follow-up inquiring. I always thought his care for the patient was of utmost importance! I’ve seen a lot of doctors and specialists over the years. So, I know who’s truthful and who’s not. After meeting with Dr. Reilly I found him to be professional and honest in his answers. He spent almost an hour talking and educating me on my problems. I was treated like a real patient and human being. Not the get em in and move em out feeling. I would highly recommend this firm. Dr Reilly invested the time to understand the difficulties I was having and he discussed in detail the surgery and expected recovery including the first few challenging days. I couldn’t have asked for a more complete and compassionate doctor.

Dr Reilly is exceptional. His calm, quiet demeanor really made me feel so comfortable. He listened to me, answered all of my questions in words that were easy to understand. I feel very lucky to be connected to such an amazing and smart surgeon.

Dr. Reilly was very attentive to my sons needs for his surgery. He made us feel very comfortable and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns honestly. He took his time during our appointment and we got the feeling he would treat us as he would a family member, explaining the pros and cons of our options. The day of my sons surgery -again he was there before the surgery and reviewed everything with us again, addressed any questions and concerns. Dr. Reilly operated on me 8 times for reconstruction from a botched surgery by another surgeon. He was unsuccessful in his attempts and I would say it was mainly due to his inability to stitch properly (far apart stitches and though the area was all the way down to my organs, no stitching except on the top) (my body rejects surgical staples which he and I discussed). Another doctor in the same hospital then took over and closed the deep open wounds in two surgeries. Dr. Reilly does not list...
