Dr. Black refused to talk to several family members about their concerns with ongoing medical issues and the covid vaccine. They have not been vaccinated because Dr. Black will not talk to them about the risks involved. Dr. Blacks office has also failed 3 times to fill out a referral for one of the same family members 3 times now. We're finding another doctor instead of asking for a 4th attempt. I cannot recommend finding another doctors office more. Avoid this office at all costs. Dr Black cares more about money than patient health. Incompetent and lack of concern for staff and patients. I first became aware of the total lack of a responsible plan to enforce the mask rule. A man came in and refused to ware a mask he said," it makes me nervous. "he then turned with a large smile and waved the receptionist off as a joke. At this point I and the others waiting ,expected someone to take control of this situation. This was not the responsible of the front office staff or the medical assistants. No one came to supervise the situation. On another occasion a woman was allowed to wander about the small waiting room without a mask. Again no one came to enforce the mask rule that is clearly posted on the clinic door. We were all put in a very dangerous situation at a time Florida is at it's most dangerous time for the spread of covid. This lack of responsible management is the result of complete laziness by the office manager. Apparently she does not have the ability or desirer to maintain a safe environment during this pandemic . I suggest she contact clinics that have a successful program and ask for assistance before it is too late and someone contacts covid. This is the only clinic I have been in that has a lack of supervision where the health of staff and patience are at risk. Dr. Black can not be blind to the manner her clinic is being run. Dr. Black is a competent professional. Her office manager and front desk staff are far from competent. They have gone to far. Formal complaint to the Medical Board and National Board of Insurance are our next steps. I have asked repeatedly to speak with Dr. Black via email or phone and NOTHING. First visit went very well. Nurse and Dr. Black took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. The nurse taking my blood sample was excellent at the task.

I've been in and out for multiple appointments. I find the staff to be very polite and helpful each and every time.

Typical doctor office 10 to 15 minute wait but pleasant smiling personnel that are efficient at th their jobs

The ladies at this office are good people , and the Dr. Is personable and will listen to every. I can't help but lo e all te staff.

They are always Accommodating and always put their patients first. The office is always clean and friendly, I even sent my dad here. I don’t know what I would do without them.

I have had nothing but positive experiences for me children. They listen to our health concerns and are committed to resolving those concerns. The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. It’s bad when you go to a “dr” and tell her you’re hot & sweating all the time & her response is “well you do live in Florida”! Duh! Such a professional answer!

I love the girls in the office. They are so sweet, personable, funny, and they truly care about your well being. I dread going to the doctors but I would actually fake an illness just to see the staff haha they truly are lovely.

I've been dealing with Dr.Black and her staff now for 2 years since I moved to Brevard county. They are great to deal with.a glitch here and there,But all in all great! They do their own labs which makes it very convenient. The only issue is sometimes it's difficult to get through on their phone,But I usually I get through after a few tries. Other then that,Everyone remembers you and the wait time isn't too bad .I'm very pleased with this provider. Charged me a fee because I couldn't make the appointment, My grandpa had passed away, I probably would have remembered to call if the appointment had not been 2 months after my intial call. Unreal...who waits 2 months to see a doctor, and than charges a fee for doing absolutely nothing!

After seeing Dr. Black, Wow, the reviews saying Dr Black's ALL about the money and Not the patient seem 100% accurate. I have good insurance. Scheduled an appt. for an annual physical. During the physical, Dr. Black said my Blood Pressure (BP) medication was electronically sent to my pharmacy. After running out of BP meds, A WEEK after seeing Dr. Black, no BP meds HAD ever been called in. When I called Dr. Black's office to understand Why BP Meds were Not called in, I was told I would have to come back in for an appt. in order to get my routine BP meds. So Dr. Black's office was willing for me to go without my BP meds.(to have a Stroke with sky-high BP), and wait for me to see Dr. Black at her next available time. If i could give this a negative 5 stars i would. Janis black is the most unprofessional self centered spawn from hell. Back in 2014 i waited six months to be seen. the day of my appointment her staff laughed at me and said i wasn't scheduled for that day even tho i wrote it on my calender.I asked what date do you have? they said next month. now i had June written in my calender but thinking maybe i might of made a mistake i gave them the benefit of the doubt. So July rolls around and again they laugh at me and said I'm scheduled in Dec since i just took their word the first time i didn't get a card but this time i did.Dec comes and now it's been a yr without having a doctor. I go to my appointment again they tried to claim i wasn't on the schedule i showed them my card and i was told that i would be seen if they were able to squeeze me in. Now by this time i was furious i been lied to repeatedly and now they want to act like they are doing me a favor by chancing i might be seen today even tho i had an appointment. I called them out on everything they did wrong to me and they didn't like the truth so janis black pulls me in the back and tells me "i don't want you as patient." Tired to get an appointment (they are my PCP) to get some (4) stitches pulled with a 10-12 day advanced noticed and they could not schedule me an appointment. I would understand if I was a new patient but i have already been established here and they could not find the time to see me for even 15 minutes. I have submitted an email via their website to see if this is a special case or the norm. Depending on their response, will be if I have to find a different PCP. The waiting room is small and filled with religious slogans whilst religious music plays in the office if you're into that sort of thing. First of all, I really like Deanna and the nursing staff. The nurses are very kind, personable, and thorough. Originally when I was just establishing myself here and “healthy” everything was great. I saw Jasmine for a well woman exam and everything was fine. When I got sick they initially seemed invested in figuring out what was causing me issues but after testing for a few things they just dropped off. No one called me about test results. I only found out because I had signed up to automatically receive this electronically from the lab itself. After still being in pain and seeing Dr. Black herself I found myself suggesting tests to run via my symptoms. When none of these yielded anything significant except a slight deficiency, I was sent away with a quick print out and told to change my diet. “Eat more leafy greens”, I do several times every day because I’ve been anemic in the past. The issues persisted and were affecting my ability to work and care for my family. When I went in determined to get an answer it was finally suggested I was merely anxious and they could refer me to a therapist. I did not want to have to change practices and seek a new doctor but I did. And I finally got a diagnosis and relief (it was not anxiety). They are seemingly very kind if a bit dismissive but when you are in pain or your condition isn’t obvious there is no curiousity or wanting to evaluate you beyond the surface. It was also difficult getting appointments. I would describe being in pain to a receptionist only to be scheduled weeks out. So be prepared to fill in with urgent care or the ER. After some recent negative experiences with other doctors offices, this office and staff was like a breath of fresh air! From the time that you arrive, the office staff greets you with a smile! I personally see Jasmine and she is the BEST! She is both professional, and kind - which is fairly rare. Usually, they are either very kind OR professional, but not both. They(the office and staff) do things by the book and have the patients best interest at heart. My experiences with this office and staff have all be positive! ???? Its so difficult to find a primary care doctor like we all used to know but rarely find these days. ???? ????A diamond amidst the rough medical care system of today ???? Dr. Janis Black is an Excellent primary care physician! Their PA is a doll and excellent as well. I've found their entire team from the doctors front desk, doctors asst., The PA and Dr. Black to be professional, proficient and courteous. I will NEVER go back to this office!!! I went in for the first time to get established and was seen by Dr Olga............I went over my medical history with her. I told her I had expierenced fluid around my heart back in Nov 2011 along with fluid in my lung. This was all resolved in Nov 2011...she told me she wanted to listen to my heart and check me out. She listened and IMMEDIATELY told me I was in conjestive heart failure, and then she listen to my lungs and told me i had fluid in my lungs!!!!!!!!! Everything I had just told her about my past.....she stated I needed to get to the ER RIGHT AWAY. Needless to say I was in a state of PANIC! I did go to the ER just to be checked out but I knew from past expierience and how I felt that I was just fine. ALL TESTS came back Negative just as I thought. All she did was scare me half to death with her wrongly Diagnosing me with NO PROOF! I called to complain and its been 10 days with NO RESPONSE from Dr Janis Blacks husband who handles things like this!!!! That in itself is very unproffessional and uncaring!!!!!! Evidently nothing has been said to her as I recieved a phone call today from a cardiologist because of a referal from Dr Olga!!!!!!! I am EXTREMELY upste about this whole situation!
