The office staff is very nice and helpful. They were able to fit me in for an emergency extraction. Dr Dunca and his assistant Roxanne were so nice. Dr Dunca is calm and easy and has a great chair side manner.

The most professional and kind dental provider I have ever dealt with. He made me feel so comfortable and the staff as well! It all starts with the front desk and this office has the sweetest front desk ladies.

As a 23 year old coming in for oral surgery for a dental implant, this office was everything I needed and more! The entire staff from the moment I stepped into the door to when I said my goodbyes made me happy and looking forward to come back for my next appointment. They have such a happy, family-like ambiance and are so friendly. Dr Brook is so knowledgable and has experience as an educator and always left me leaving the office with new information. He knows about my professional aspirations in health care and let me watch my whole surgery in front of a mirror (which was the coolest experience ever). He made me feel so comfortable and proved that my care was in the best hands! I still cant believe that I felt ZERO pain at all during and after the implant placement. I've been a patient of Dr. Dunca for two years and my experience is always a good one. He is very patient and he explains every procedure before he actually performs it. Joan and staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Dunca is terrific! He’s very patient, gentle and thorough. I was extremely anxious about the procedure I needed to get done, and he made me feel very comfortable about it. This office doesn't care about patients, they care about the bottom line: Money! If you are someone who is struggling to get by do not go here because they don't care, what's more, their staff will belittle you for trying to reduce your bill once your insurance denies your request. Dr Brook himself is pleasant but a second opinion ended up being an hour and a half appointment and they didn't even have a clue how to access the online paperwork I filled out in advance to make things run quicker. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere!

Dr. Brook's office was initially given to be by my dentist, Dr. Michael Nastasi, of Valley Stream who I trust with my life. Dentists are not at the top of my favorites list but during the past two years I have fallen in love with everyone at Dr. Brook's office from Jocelyn, who is my hygienist, to Dr. Flaviu Dunca, who completed an implant for me over the past year. Lisa, who runs the office in Oceanside is on her game. Every staff member is kind, polite, supportive, and funny. They helped me get through this procedure and...my implant looks just like the rest of my teeth thanks to their technology and partnership with Dr. Nastasi. Kudos to you all!!! Approx 1 yr ago I was faced with losing all my teeth to steroid use taken to keep me breathing. I consulted with My dentist of which I had a 30 yr + relationship.. Dr. Martin Berman and Dr Michael Nastisi and I worked out a game plan.. I saw three surgeons and Chose Dr Brooks and his his new Colleague Dr .Dunca. getting implants are not for the faint of heart it was a year long process. for someone to be in a dental chair for 5 hours getting teeth removed , for my lowers and 4 + my uppers and to actually sleep using only novacaine will lend a testament on how relaxed I was. my new teeth are solid and no longer have pain infections or bleeding.. Life is no dress Rehearsal choose wisely.. My team are gifted professionals and I want them to get the recognition they deserve. Dr Dunca laid the foundation and the implants and Dr. Michael Nastasi made the impressions and made the teeth I couldnt be happier... My family and I have been patients of Dr. Nastasi in Valley Stream, NY for over 30 years. A few years back, I needed an Implant so he referred me to Dr. Brook and Dr. Dunca. The implant by Dr. Brook has never given me a problem. He is friendly, caring and made sure I followed up months down the road to make sure the implant was okay. The same with Dr. Dunca on my most recent implant last year. He is also very friendly and cares alot about his patients and makes sure everything goes well. He also schedules follow ups to make sure everything is fine. That implant also feels great and there is never pain or any other issues. Also, two weeks ago, Dr. Dunca extracted a bothersome wisdom tooth within an hour of me calling. That was awesome! And the costs of their services are always fair and reasonable. I have no insurance but they do accept my EDP Dental Plan which saves me money. I'm very happy with all three Dentists (Dr. Brook, Dr. Dunca, and Dr. Nastasi) and I highly recommend you see them for amazing professional care. Dr Dunca performed an emergency extraction & implant . I had no discomfort at any time. He is a perfectionist, explained everything including the x- rays (how the bone was growing around the implant, etc.) He is kind, sincere, and loves his job. Joan & Roxanne also made me feel so comfortable. (If I had known about Dr. Dunca a few years ago, I would have had the implant before it became an emergency.
