Dr Jeffrey Guillmette, MD. has everything you would want in a doctor.

Excellent care through the entire process of having cataracts removed.

Dr Guillmette and his staff were professional, polite and very efficient and knowledgeable.

He’s kind and personable. He’s very thorough and patient; especially, with someone like me (asking tons of questions).

Dr Guillmette is AWESOME! Very friendly and personable. Not bad on the eyes either????

Dr Guillmette restored my vision by removing my cataracts in left eye. Amazing results. Awtg right eye surgery. On 3/31/22 Right eye was restored and everything is now brighter with deep colors. Thanks to Dr. Guilmette from Ochsner West Bank Clinics.

He is an incredible doctor—thorough, professional, takes his time and doesn’t make you feel rushed. I felt relieved and finally at peace after two bad experiences elsewhere. Highly highly recommend him!

Dr. Guillmette is a great ophthalmologist. He answered all my questions and explained my procedure in terms that I could understand easily. He was very attentive to my comfort level during surgery and clearly highly experienced. He is friendly, compassionate and thorough. Depending on his patient load at any given time, you may have to schedule your first appointment several weeks in advance, but once you’re in his patient roster, appointments are scheduled fairly quickly. Also, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen after arrival for a scheduled appointment. I highly recommend him for eye care. Dr. Guillmette is a great ophthalmologist. Dr. Guillimette is an excellent listener. He is thorough and attentive to his patients needs with extraordinary bedside manners. He has been my optomologist for over fifteen years. I not only speak for myself but on behalf my husband and son as well.

Dr. Guillemete was very respectful and thorough with his explanation of the procedure he was performing on my eyes. I never had long waits for office visits. He always had a friendly disposition and I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs eye surgery.

Very professional, thorough with complete explanation and what to expect.

Dr. Guillmette was very informative and kind in explaining the cataract surgery. The thorough information that he provided made my mother and I feel very comfortable with knowing that he would be the MD performing the surgery. Surely, if he takes the time to explain procedures in detail to his patients, he will take just as much acre while completing a procedure my mother’s eyes.

A complete waste of time. Told me they couldnt remove a stye that was too small. After a 4 week period of waiting for this appointment, had my stye been larger I would have had to go to the er anyway, which I did after this appointment, at EJ, where it was promptly removed. Get a second opinion if you are sent here.

My cataract surgery a week ago has been a good experience at Ochsner. All employees were awesome from the beginning. They were friendly, professional, answered all of my questions, and explained each step of my treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Guillmette for this surgery. Painless procedure...Reshawn & Dr Guillmette was great!

Went in for cataracts. He is very thorough and explained the whole process. I would definitely recommend.

The COVID-19 precautions were spot-on. I forgot a mask, and they gave me one. I did not have to wait long, and the nurse & the doctor were attentive and patient with me. And the front liners even bid me a great day on my way out.

I found the doctor to be very pleasant and attentive to detail. He gave a full explanation of the anticipated procedure, answered questions fully and created an atmosphere of trust in his knowledge and expertise. I felt confident that I was in competent hands.

Dr. Guillmette did my cataract surgery 5 years ago (I'm only in my 40's) and has been my doctor ever since. He is thorough, detail-oriented and incredibly knowledgeable. Although there are sometimes longer wait times for appointments it's because he nor his staff ever rushes consults. He takes each appointment as if it's the only one and carefully answers all questions. He's the best there is in his field.

I have sent people to him already and they say he is the greatest!

Dr Guillmette recently did my cataract surgeries, and called the night after each surgery to check for problems, as well as having follow-up appointments the next day, next week, etc. Instruction sheets were clear, clinic staff were pleasant and competent, and I found Dr Guillmette to be truly concerned for his patients. He is a doctor who loves his work and is good at it.

My mom had a 3:30 appt with dr Guillmette and an hour later she is still waiting to see him. Due to his disrespect of our time I would not recommend him.
