Greeting from Dallas ,Texas. I sought out Dr Kenkel to remove my grandmothers three extra chins and wide neck ,and floppy cheeks I could see coming my way , I had a partial lower face and neck lift. Dr .Kenkel was kind and caring thru every step . I chose UTSouthwestern because no up charges . DrKenkel preop got you if needed medications before surgery . You were not running around after surgery going to pharmacy. His team is first rate . I really wanted this for myself for once ! I woke up and won the best helmet in the NFL this is a protection put on after surgery , you do not go home with this ! But it was pretty funny . There was absolutely NO pain with this surgery NONE ! Never took pain meds , had them if I needed them but did not!!!No trouble sleeping , my experience was NO FEAR !!!! My outcome far exceeded the 10 years younger. Pictures of me 25 years ago matched beautifully . An artist and a good doctor . And an extra bonus if there might be an issue the entire university is right there ! Safety. Dr. Kenkel and the professional staff that works with him are not only friendly, reassuring, and considerate, they are incredibly knowledgeable. Before my surgical procedure I was impressed by their preparedness on my medical status and the time spent informing me of the procedure steps. Well done!

Terrible STAFF! The doctor has great reviews but the same cannot be said for the women running the front desk. I felt discriminated and mistreated! Unfortunate.

He loves what he does and he’s very good at it.

The best part of seeing Dr. Kenkel is you look natural! IMO a board certified plastic surgeon is the place to go. His staff is friendly and professional. I especially appreciated his artistry after skin cancer reconstruction. I give Dr. Kenkel a 5 star rating!

Five Star Treatment all the way from beginning to end! Dr Kenkel listens to what your desires may be and gives his feedback which I consider to be excellent and very professional. I am 58 yrs old and had 20 year old breast implants removed, a breast lift and new smaller implants. The entire process was very comfortable for me and my breasts look amazing. He made them look as I expected they would look. His entire staff is very pleasant to do business with and I tend to have any future cosmetic surgery done by Dr Kenkle!

I moved to Dallas 5 years ago to live with my significant other; and quite soon discovered the many advantages of taking my medical business to UT Southwestern. Over a 3 year period prior to my moving here, I lost nearly 100 pounds, and knew that I wanted to pursue surgical removal of some of the fatty deposits and loose skin resulting from that weight loss; so asked my PCP at UTSW about associated plastic surgeons...Dr. Kenkel's name was the first one she mentioned. I scheduled a consultation and was immediately struck by the friendliness, expertise, and clear concern for patient well-being, of he and all the staff at the Plastic Surgery Clinic. I have since had Dr. Kenkel revise a previous brachioplasty (done by a different surgeon in a different state), do an abdominoplasty; revise that abdominoplasty when it proved necessary; and a breast reduction which was medically necessary due to back and neck issues. I have sheer joy at seeing breasts upon my chest again, instead of hanging down to my waist - I can't pass a mirror without looking and smiling - and I haven't had a backache since! Over the course of these surgeries (2016-2019), I have become extremely fond of Dr. Kenkel and his entire staff - I esteem all of them for their professionalism, high quality of care, and just making me, the patient, feel comfortable and known as an individual instead of just another body passing through... From the excellence of the in-clinic day surgery and overnight facilities (luxurious! - and fabulous staff here, too!), to the clear respect and appreciation of the entire staff for patients and for each other, and the totally satisfactory results of their work - I have never had a better experience. I have talked with him for 5 or more years about having surgery on my face and neck and this was the year to do it! The results are amazing! I look natural, and younger! Dr. Kenkel and his staff are first class. I had two rather extensive procedures with Dr. Kenkel at UTSW, one performed in December 2017 and another in July 2018. I traveled from out of state to have these procedures based on my desire to receive the best possible care. I was not disappointed. Dr. Kenkel performed a breast augmentation on me several months ago. They truly look perfect. It took me years to make the decision to have plastic surgery and it can be a difficult choice to make a body change. Dr. Jeffrey Kenkel, Professor and Chairman of Plastic Surgery, at UT Southwestern, 1801 Inwood Road, 5th Floor, Dallas, TX 75390, Telephone 214-645-2353, drkenkel.com, has now performed three procedures for me: liposuction, Erbium laser treatment, and neck lift. Extraordinary is the best word to describe him and all of his team. From the moment I checked in, met everyone on his team, and checked out, my patient care was superb. Dr. Jayne Coleman, the anesthesiologist who works with Dr. Kenkel in surgery, is the best anesthesiologist I have ever had. Dr. Kenkel himself is the most accommodating doctor I have ever dealt with. Being able to get in touch with him is extremely easy, and he does everything possible to help the patient heal from any procedure. When I see him quoted in Allure magazine, I always think that the magazine could never pay adequate tribute to the incredible person he is and how extraordinarily well he communicates with patients.

Dr Kenkel is great!! I give him 5 stars as he exceeded my expectations on my breast reduction. I am happy to say this as it has only been a little over 1.5 weeks since my surgery. His team is amazing and everyone is helpful, kind and fun. I have absolutely no complaints! I normally do not write reviews unless it's extremely good or extremely bad and in this case it's horrific. I wouldn't have even rated his service a 1 star but this was the only way to leave a review. I went to Dr. kenkel on Jan. 9th 2017 to get a breast reduction and breast lift surgery. Prior to my surgery, I spoke with Dr. Kenkel on several occasions via email, phone and office visits in reference to my concerns of being scared, breast being to large after surgery or being disfigured. After speaking with him on numerous occasions and expressing my concerns he reassured me that everything was going to be okay and that he understood my concerns and that he was going to take care of me during surgery and not to worry. After a couple of months post op when my breast started to relax I noticed all these deformations were my breast were very uneven and my areola were positioned very far to the left and right of each breast. I also noticed that my left best nipple did not come out anymore. On top of that my left breast is folded under so bad its has a tuck of other breast tissue flapping over under my arm and on the side of my breast. My right breast has a entire stitch like that does not relax its stuck in a upwards position. So I began to make contact with the doctor to express my concerns via email and phone and each time was instructed to come into the clinic. After paying my co pay to revisit each time to express these areas of concerns I received to same response your breast are fine you have to give them time to heal is only been a couple of months they are still swollen and need to relax I had to stitch you up like this due to your skin was tight it will relax don't worry. At the 5month mark I went in and showed him again what I was seeing and the only response I was given is the insurance is not going to pay for you to have another breast reduction but I will submit an appeal but we do have something revision packages that you can pay for to cover a revision. The appeal was submit to my insurance and denied. When questioned my insurance why the appeal was denied, I was told do to the way the appeal was written, it was written as a want and not a medical need so it was denied. It's been 9months now and my breast has not gotten any better it has gotten worst.I have reached out to Dr. Kenkel several more times via email to try and work with him and come up with a resolution on how to fix this problem all I wanted was for my breast to be corrected and look nice that's all I was asking of him. I've even attached pictures to my email, called to the office to have him contact me and to no avail no response. Another thing is its not that the insurance company want pay for it because I have since went to another doctor taken care of all the paperwork and have been approved for some corrections its just he do not want to fix this mess he has made... Ladies please please DO NOT, DO NOT ALLOW DR. KENKEL TO DO YOUR BREAST REDUCTION SAVE YOUR SELF THE TROUBLE THAT IM GOING THROUGH.. I am so depressed about my breast and how they look. I am embarrassed to take off my shirt or my bra I wear it every day every single min even to sleep. I don't not feel any kind of womenly appeal about my self anymore. This was the worst decision of my life. I can't stand to look at myself in the mirror now. I normally do not write reviews unless it's extremely good or extremely bad and in this case it's horrific. I just love Dr. Kenkel. I was very reluctant to have any plastic surgery but Dr. Kenkel put my mind at ease. He is honest, gentle, and a delight but most of all an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend him for any plastic surgery procedures.

Excellent! Did my tummy tuck/lipo and I'm thrilled!!! Dr. Kenkel is very nice and his nurses are wonderful. Reception desk is efficient but not overly friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend him!
