I waited on the phone for ten minutes, the woman answering the phone asked me to read my mri results, then said “I don’t know if Dr Rubin would accept you as a patient” at that point I said I no longer wanted to be a patient if that is the way he conducts his practice, she said “ ok” rude, arrogant, wow

He did the job ! He knows what he is doing . The office staff is also superior. A pleasure to coordinate with. I have been there 5 times for various challenges. All with acceptable outcomes. Fireman Joe

Before seeing Dr. Rubin, I was in constant pain with my left thumb. Following surgery, I am pain fee and so happy with the results!!!

Very good surgeon, my finger joint replacement surgery was relatively successful; the office personnel are very helpful. Not much information is given about what to expect or what exercises would be recommended. I had to pay more than my deductible upfront and had to ask/wait for my reimbursement. Also, two post op visits were scheduled and I had to pay for the second visit!

Dr. Rubin is an excellent surgeon. My scar is so tiny, and he had to open up my wrist long enough to put in a plate and 9 screws. His office staff is just wonderful. They respect their patients' time, which is unusual in this day and age. I highly recommend!

I had a work related injury that I was certain would leave horrible scars and possibly even disfiguration. Dr. Rubin performed the surgery quickly and less than a year later, there is no sign the finger was ever injured! His staff is AMAZING. They are all so fun and polite. Dr. Rubin and his staff were the best-I arrived for my Appt and was actually taken in earlier than my actual Appt time. The staff conducted all testing required and were quick and efficient. The Doctor reviewed all information and concluded that I had a trigger thumb and used technical information in order to give me a cortisone shot in the exact spot needed for pain relief. The shot has worked as it is now three months later with no discomfort. The follow up appt was just as quick and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Rubin for any hand issues.

Always found the office staff very friendly and professional. Very efficient and on time all the time! Dr. Rubin answered and all of my questions before, during and after the surgery. He was concerned about the loss of feeling in a finger near the surgery and had me return several times until he was certain that all was better. I would certainly return again if I needed. Definitely would recommend Dr. Rubin and his staff to a friend, and am grateful for the friend that referred me.

Examined my finger. Did x-ray and ultra sound. Explained the procedure to me and set up an appointment to do the surgery.

I broke my wrist, and Dr. Rubin saw me just 2 days later after me being referred to an ortho surgeon by Centra Care. A week later, I had surgery. They called me the day after surgery to check on me. Dr. Rubin and his office personnel were the best! They see you very quickly, honoring my time just as much as theirs, which is very unusual in this day and age. Brandy is the office's caring work horse. She was going around quickly to every patient. It is a sight to see. They are very professional and caring. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Service was fantastic. Dr. Ruben took care of me from start to finish. Even when I went to get a second opinion he treated me with respect and left me feeling very confident in the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Ruben and his staff.

I have had previous surgery for my right hand that was performed at a different practice. Dr. Rubin uses a less invasive procedure that has healed so much faster than my first surgery. It has been less than one month and I have almost all of my hand function restored. Very positive experience, office staff were friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend this doctor for future procedures.

I wanted to take care of my condition right away, and they were able to accommodate my requests - even some of my special requests due to the Covid-19 situation. Saw Dr. Rubin for a broken wrist … had surgery one day after initial visit … very satisfied … recommended Dr. Rubin to friend with wrist problems ONLY issue was that the day we went for surgery we had to wait 3 + hours before the procedure. Staff was wonderful and Dr. Rubin is a fantastic doctor.

I recently went in for wrist pain and swelling. The doctor never looked at my wrist and told me nothing was wrong! I was sent away without treatment and the doctor stormed out of the room without saying goodbye. I couldn't believe what happened. No concern about my health. I never had a doctor to be numb to my health issues. He never made eye contact and treated me as if I was invisible! I was calm the entire time but broke down and cried after leaving the office. Professional and thorough- both staff and Doctor. I had been to another clinic in town that completely missed a foreign object lodged in my hand. I came upon Doctor Rubin through a friend's recommendation and I couldn't be more satisfied. He listened, skillfully assessed, and within 30 minutes found the object and had me scheduled for surgery two days later. The incision is healing perfectly and my scar will be nearly invisible. I had a great experience and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Great doctor. Did a great job fixing the carpal tunnel on both hands. Since he uses the endoscopic technique, the procedure was easy and within a day I had no pain and was able to move hand and fingers like before - but with no longer any pain. Highly recommended. His staff is the best!

I have been given restored use of a finger that had a contracture of its tendon; it went from 45 degrees back to normal. They call it practicing medicine but Dr. Rubin is a pro! Thanks Jerry! I appreciate your staff and the folks at the surgery center.

Very satisfactory, healing as expected

I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I was turned down by numerous doctors due to the area on my palm and how long it was there. Dr Rubin was able to help me and has been great throughout my time.

Excellent from first appointment to my 6 week follow up. staff was very informative and professional as was doctor Rubin. I highly recommend this group for Carpal Tunnel treatment and surgery.

Outstanding Doctor and Staff!!!!

My file looked like the old yellow pages books that years ago the phone company used to leave at your door steps. Seven doctors had seen my case (independents and not) my arm was not getting better and the work compensation insurance company wanted to get rid of me at any cost, to the point of changing my previous doctor's "opinion". On the last page my medical record read I was not being truthful about my injury. I called my lawyer and requested a one-time change of doctors. Not too many doctors are specialized (with the hands) and take cases for work compensation insurance so Sedgwick Claims Management ran out of luck and sent me to DR Rubin. I arrived at Dr. Rubin in pain and AFRAID TO TELL HIM ANYTHING I knew my records read that "I was faking it". Dr. Rubin proceeded to go the distance and read all my records front and back. He looked at my arm and listened to me before he judged the not so good comments. He read since the date of the accident two years ago (how my long work hours using a computer mouse caused my injury (back them I was working an average of 70+ a week). He read the last pages but Dr. Rubin was not afraid of Sedgwick (the one that pays his bill) who wanted to bully me and get rid of me his patient. Dr. Rubin reviewed ALL the doctor’s opinions on my tennis elbow case, and he reviewed my MRI. Dr. Rubin CONCLUDED BEFORE ANY EXTRA TEST WAS DONE THAT I HAVE A VERY COMPLICATED CASE. Then Dr. Rubin prescribed a test that no prior doctor had send me to do. He prescribed a nerve study. Dr. Rubin was right when he said I HAVE A VERY COMPLICATE CASE. THE NERVE STUDY CAME BACK POSITIVE FOR RIGHT ARM NERVE DAMAGE. Dear future Dr. Rubin patient take note. Dr. Rubin’s primary goal is getting you back to your good health. Dr. Rubin is an excellence communicator, possess attention to detail and reads between lines. All these qualities along with his outstanding listening skills and his superior medical knowledge makes him a doctor that is a cut above the rest. Drove by the office and saw the sign. Had an appointment booked for a couple days after and my surgery set 4 days later. I was able to resolve an issue that I had for a year while on Vacation. Dr Rubin is thorough , knowledgeable, and friendly. His staff follows his lead and engaged my son while he waited for me to complete my appointment. I have been to Dr Rubin 3 times and have been given wonderful care of each time.

Dr. Rubin treated my painful trigger finger condition (that I had for over 2 years) with wide awake surgery. Within moments after the procedure, the triggering was gone! I'm so grateful to Dr. Rubin and his wonderful staff, not only for helping me, but also the caring and compassionate way in which they work with their patients.

Dr. Ruben and his nurse were very unprofessional, very unethical, no compassion for the injured people at all. Dr. Ruben is referred by Workers Compensation so he will never be an advocate for the injured worker.

It is so important to have trust in your surgeon. Dr. Rubin put me at ease with his professional but caring attitude from the first. He spent over a half hour talking with me and answering questions about carpal tunnel release, and also pointed me toward a lot of information on his website about the procedure. I knew as soon as surgery was over that I had considerable relief of my pain and numbness and each day since has been even better. The office staff was great too.

I am more then satisfied to say that Dr. Rubins Orthopedic Hand Surgery has with out a doubt saved my finger from being cut off and has done a phenomenal job with the reconstructive cosmetic surgery . Before coming to his office I had already accepted the fact of loosing 40 percent of my finger. Sad moments for sure . but after the care of Dr. Rubin and his team I only ended up loosing 1% of my finger and have my fingernail still !!! thank you Dr. Rubin !

Good technical surgeon and a good communicator. This was my second surgery and both results were great. I'm very satisfied with my care from Dr. Rubin.

The office is very efficient and straight forward which I like as I know I will be in and out very quickly. Zero time spent waiting on either of my two visits.

I met Dr. Rubin when his office was very busy (he takes EXTRA time X patient) It was my 1 visit (I'm a work comp patient) He apologized and let me know that at least he needed an hour to hear me/ take a look at my arm. I rescheduled to the following week and got to see him. Besides being an Eye drops bottle (he refreshes your eyes sigh) this handsome Dr. is KNOWLEDGEABLE, ADVOCATES, CARES X EVERY SINGLE PATIENT Work Comp Ins or not! 1 time in my WC case I felt a Dr. cares and will get me better!

everything went well, much easier than my last hand surgery with another doctor in NYC. Dr. Rubin explained exactly what he was going to do in surgery and I felt very well taken care of. All the staff was as wonderful as well. Very happy with my care!

Dr Jerry Rubin did a fantastic job on my hand. Surgery was handled nicely by the Dr and his staff & I had no pain after the surgery & needed no pain pills. The hand healed nicely without a scar & now after 6 weeks I am ready to go back to playing golf.. I strongly recommend Dr. Rubin for hand surgery.

Staff was amazing got me in the day I called. Had surgery the next day there. Doctor was great Walked me through everything they were going to do. He put 11 screws and a plate in my wrist and has answered my questions every time I called .

First time having surgery so the experience was scary. Dr. Rubin and his staff took great care of me. The surgery went great. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Rubin corrected the carpel tunnel on my right hand four years ago along with a trick thumb, with excellent results. Dr. Rubin just performed the procedure on my left hand a week and a half ago. I am as happy as could be with the results and able to sleep soundly. I am also getting close to full range of motion. I would truly recommend Dr. Rubin to my family and friends.

I’m so happy to have been recommended to Dr. Rubin and his practice. He has a great, to the point, chair-side manner and a truly caring professional staff who gained my confidence right away. Dr. Rubin is a highly skilled surgeon (did my homework) and for my Osteoarthritis, performed Basal Joint thumb surgery on my left hand in August without complication. I had such a great outcome (followed Doctor’s orders,) that We did the surgery on my right hand lin December. I highly recommend them.
