She did not listen to me and made me feel very stupid. She had never seen me before but told me what I know isn’t normal, is normal - I know my body and something had suddenly changed. She ra labs that were absolutely not the problem and when they came back negative, that was it. Zero other suggestion or discussion on what’s going on, when the nurse called to tell me what I knew was negative, was negative. In the appt, the dr had mentioned a diagnosis that it could be, if the labs were negative (which she didn’t bother with I explain) and when I looked it up is really serious. No mention of it again though after negative labs so now I have to sit and worry. Will need to see another Dr to actually figure out what’s going on. She completely wasted my time. Ignored me, didn’t care, zero compassion or interest in my care. Abrupt, curt, cold.

She was a wonderful doctor and diagnose my problem as honestly as possible can't wait to see her again and I would recommend her to anybody

Dr. Hallstrom was thorough. Took time to explain my options allowing me to choose. My experience has been positive.

I had a very wonderful experience and will always recommend her .She clarify my treatment plan every step of the way and am very grateful .

She was curt and had air of irritability with me .

Dr. Hallstrom has been my doctor for the past 9 years. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and makes sure that I am healthy. She is very thorough and kind. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an intelligent and caring doctor.

Very professional, SMART. I am an RN at Maple Grove Hospital in the Family Birth Center. I have formulated my own opinions on all the doctors there and they are all great, however for my GYN surgery, I knew that Dr. Hallstrom was who I wanted to do the procedure. She is skilled and even did it on her day off. I am very pleased.

Dr. Hallstrom took time to talk over my concerns.

I would recommend Dr Hallstrom. She delivered my son 23 years ago. I have seen her on and off since then. I hadn’t been there in six years and she recognized me. Always compassionate with what I have going on in life.

Dr. Hallstrom saw me and addressed the specific concern I came in for, but she had an impatient vibe to her and I felt like I was taking up her time by asking any questions. She also didn’t go over many basic things about pregnancy even though it was my first time seeing a provider for this pregnancy. The visit was very short. The ultrasound technician and medical assistant, on the other hand, were amazing! Friendly, personable, and patient.

Oakdale ObGyn in Maple Grove is a caring and patient-focused practice.

Would give zero stars if I could. Rude and absolutely Arrogant and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I drove over an hour to get my incision looked at and she didn’t care. I have an infected incision and she told me it’s no longer infected since the “bubble popped” it’s still oozing and bleeding today. Will not be back to Oakdale OBGYN.

Dr. Hallstrom is a very caring doctor and outstanding gynecology surgeon.
