Dr. Lisa M Shakerin

Dr. Shakerin has been my ObGyn for the last 31 years. I have 3 daughters. She delivered my 1st one. To say I love her is an understatement. She has been the best! She is kind, compassionate, gentle, & really listens to her patients. She is retiring & I am so very sad for me, but happy for her. I would recommend her to everyone!!

Throughout my pregnancy I went and seen multiple OB's, midwives, and nurses at the clinic. I wanted to get a feel for who I like. She has been one of my favorites so far. Soo personable, kind, super detailed, and never rushes the appt. She makes sure all my questions are answered and explains things so throughly. Highly recommend.

Dr.Shakrin was my OB for my second one. She is really patient. She makes all the visits easy and fun for her patients. Being a photographer I had a busy schedule through out the pregnancy. Whenever I was in dilemma whether to do it or not she gave me the right directions. I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shakerin since 1987 and still to this day she is still the same and most professional, kind and understanding person since the day I met her. Three children ( now adults) later! I would not see anyone else. She takes her time with you and makes you feel so very special as if you’re her only patient. She’s gentle and caring. Dr Shakerin is a kind, caring, genuine person. She always takes whatever time needed to address my specific health issues. She is a great listener and responds to each question with a solution. I feel I am a partner in my health care decisions with her.

I couldn't be more pleased with the excellent care I receive from Dr. Shakerin. She's thorough and she truly listens to my concerns. She answers all my questions in a way that makes me feel heard. I never feel rushed and I leave knowing my health is her highest priority.

Always helpful and listens to all your concerns. I never feel rushed when in an appointment with her and she always makes sure she answers all my questions! I feel very comfortable with her and trust her with my care

I have never been treated by a physician as kind and caring as Dr. Shakerin. She is very knowledgeable. She explains new information that people not in the medical field, can understand. I have never felt that she is "on the clock." She gave me the time I needed to talk with her about a personal situation that was related to OB/GYN issues but not the main reason I was there. I really appreciated that. I left feeling relieved that I did not have a serious health problem and feeling incredibly sad that I no longer have a reason to see her again. I will miss her.

She was careful to listen to all of my concerns. I did not feel rushed. She clearly and kindly explained my situation. I was not made to feel foolish or dismissed. She was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Lisa Shakerin.

I have been seeing DR Shakerin since I was pregnant with my firstborn 27 yrs ago. She takes time with me, kindly and professionally explain all my concerns. She shows respect to me. I refer her to my relatives and they agree.

To say Dr. Shakerin is exceptional, would be an understatement. From the minute she enters the room, she creates a nurturing environment that instills the sense that you are her number one priority. She actively listens, takes her time, and clearly explains health conditions and treatment options. Not once (in the 20+ years I have been seeing her) has Dr. Shakerin ever made visible if she was having a bad day, or rushed through a visit because she's behind schedule. It is extremely rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a PERSON with the outstanding quality of medical care. If all doctors had the same bedside manner as Dr. Shakerin, the world would be a better place! There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for the continuos support and positive impact Dr. Shakerin has had on my overall health. Her passion for helping others is clearly genuine, and has made such a difference in my life!

I have been seeing Dr Shakerin for many years. After retirement, I moved over 100 miles from her clinic, but still drive to consult with her when necessary. Dr Shakerin consistently offers compassionate and thorough care! I only wish she wasn’t so popular so I didn’t have to wait for an appointment, but the wait is worth it!

Dr. Shakerin is the best! She takes her time and is very thorough with her exams and explanations (unheard of these days). She really cares about her patients. I’ve been seeing Dr. Shakerin for 13 years and will continue based on her quality of care provided.
