Dr. Jim Youssef

Jim conducted emergency back surgery on me over 20 years ago after I fell close to 50 feet in a rock-climbing accident. His follow-up throughout my recovery was exceptional and he treated me like a friend who really cared.

The billing policies need a big update!

Doctor Youssef and his team are the best. He did a spinal fusion for me in 2011 and I’ve enjoyed having my life back! I am so grateful for his expertise, talent and care. I would never want to see another spine doctor.

Dr. Yousef completed my 2 level cervical fusion and 2 years later it has not fused and there is a fractured screw in my neck. I went to try and make an appointment to see what he could do and his billing staff said that they made a mistake and I owed $90 from over a year ago. I had no idea. I told them I get paid next week and even though I don't like their mistake I would pay it next week. Jessica in billing told me that I could make an appointment after I paid my account and she could turn it over to collections if I wanted her to. I said I wanted to tell Dr. Youseff that because of their mistake I could not see him. Does he know that his is the practice? His surgery has failed and he would rather not know about it unless he gets this tiny amount of money. $90 is nothing to him. All I asked for was a week and they will not budge and will not let me speak to him at all. They flat out told me I could not leave a message or speak to him at all. There are other dr. to fix his mess!

Self centered doctor that doesn’t care about his patients. I have never seen anything like it! I changed spine doctors and thought the new doctor looked familiar, ends up he worked there and left because it was so bad! They won’t release records even if you owe them $50.00. Horrible office and doctors...seems like they think they have the market cornered! Your just another number! I would rather drive to Denver for help then to go here again!!! Dr Youssef replaced my c6 disc with an artificial one in 2008..I traveled from Florida and stayed in Durango for 5 weeks. It is 2018 and I am running, biking, working etc with few complaints except for normal aging issues. Thank you Dr Youssef.

He never hurries you. He is kind, patient and understanding. I trust him with my life. He is brilliant when it comes to actual surgery.
