Dr. Kim L Furry

Dr. Furry is a legend. I had a pretty gnarly Tib-Fib boot top break and needed a tibial nail and several screws. She did bomb proof work as far as I can tell. I've skied 14ers, ridden long bike rides and surfed the biggest waves of my life since surgery. The aspect of Dr. furry I most appreciated was cutting me off the pain meds. When I got cut off, the pain had me in tears for the first time since before breaking my leg. What I found out the next day was it was just the withdrawals and I took IB profen for about a week and didn't need anything else. Dr. furry is also understanding with people like me who are chomping at the bit. She was honest with me, and I could be honest about how much I had been pushing my leg post surgery. 2 years out and still grateful. I'm considering tattooing her signature over my scars.

Got my ACL supposedly reconstructed by her and have a HUGE 4 1/2 inch frankenstein scar, three surgeries and still not right. Now my ACL is lax and meniscus is torn... post-op care was horrible! Getting my knee fixed by another doctor, I'm active and in my thirties. Awful experience, soo much pain. (What a hack job!)

Dr. Furry was very attentive to my situation. I had both knees replaced by her. She is very personable and takes what ever time she needs to make you comfortable. Her PA, Doug, was great also. They make a great team and I would highly recommend them.
