Absolutely LOVE Dr.Williams! My kids are all grown now but he was such an amazing Doctor with them and I trusted him with their care. He really is the best and I wish my babies were back little again so they can still have him as a doc. My middle son Josh was killed last year by a drunk driver and I wish I could go back to the days of them being little and seeing Dr.Williams. Terrible bed side manner. Completed a UTI examination for my 3 year old daughter. Did not explain the process to my daughter at all before or during. She's traumatized from the whole experience. No gloves, no mask in the middle of a pandemic... Disgusted with the whole experience.

My children have been seeing Dr. Williams at the Thornton office for nearly 10 years. They have seen Dr. Emily more recently since they are girls and are now getting a little to old for a male doctor. Over the years I found Dr. Williams to have a great bed side manner. He never talked down to me even when we didn't always agree. He is respectful and very competent. I do not naturally trust doctors, nor the medical industry as a whole. I do my research, I expect good care and I expect them to respect my wishes as a parent who loves their child and is doing the very best I know to look out for their best interest and health. Horizon pediatrics has allowed me to do this and I go to them because they are convenient and excellent pediatric practitioners. Horizon is highly incompetent. They are very disorganized and failed to look into both parents medical history. This negligence led to a toddler being prescribed unnecessary iron supplements. Even though the father raised his concerns numerous times, desperately trying to explain the child likely has a blood condition called Beta Thalassemia Minor, the test was not conducted till after Dr. Williams was handed paperwork written by a hematologist stating what the father had been saying since before the baby was born. The doctor himself called the father a liar and continuously said the child most likely does not have the condition. The test came back positive. They have discharged the child from the facility as they know the mother put their practice in jeopardy. Even though they knew the mother lied and had received a warning from the office stating her continuously contentious behavior needed to stop, they still allow her in the office and have not reported her. Do not trust this office as they clearly are not interested in your child’s best interest. Horizon is highly incompetent. Dr Williams is amazing and I love this office. I have always felt very comfortable here with all the staff. Anytime I needed anything Dr Williams made sure my concerns were met and even called me personally. If he was not available I saw Dr Akroman who was my pediatrician and equally as amazing! I would recommend this place to everyone! Even though I have yes been asked for my son to no longer be accepted (he is 1), it was because of other parties behaviors and actions that caused the office to not want to get involved, and subsequently my son has lost his pediatrician. The doctors I have worked with have a great understanding of medicine and true family history, it is a shame the child has to suffer the consequences of adult petty behaviors and others handling the issue the easy way rather than the right way. These are great doctors to work with, with great amount of knowledge and wisdom. Dr Williams is amazing and I love this office. I have always felt very comfortable here with all the staff. He never remembers anything and we go through the same things every appointment... Not what I like doing spending the first 20 minutes of the kids appointments repeating medical history... It's tiring repeating yourself every few weeks your kids check into the office...
