Had an ablation with Dr Beshai. I say we because that’s the way I feel about the experience. I felt like I had a partner and friend working on me. I drive all the way from Vegas just to have him do the ablation and boy am I happy I did. Had a small issue during the procedure and he handled it like the professional he is. Thank you Doc.

Want to share my positive experience at The Heart Rhythm Institute of Arizona. Since moving to Phoenix involved acquiring new physicians, Dr. Beshai was my EP of choice after reviewing his credentials and experience. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, caring, patient and extremely interested in his patients. His staff goes above and beyond in providing whatever necessary to ensure my visits are productive. They are professional and knowledgeable and provide the answers to my many questions in a timely manner. An important relocation problem solved most satisfactorily!

I was referred to Dr. Beshai by my cardiologist for atrial flutter. When I went in to see the doctor the first time, he was very abrupt and said I need a pacemaker immediately. If I didn't get a pacemaker I would be responsible for someone else's death when I passed out while driving. His scare tactics and horrible bedside manner made me leave the office immediately and search for another doctor. The other doctor had a more pleasant bedside manner and corrected my flutter with a catheter ablation. Although I have a low heart rate, no other doctor has recommended a pacemaker for me.

It is without hesitation I give Dr. Beshai five stars. From the moment I met Dr. Beshai at my first appointment, I felt completely at ease, he listened to me, answered my questions and concerns, never rushed me, and made sure I was completely informed of the procedures I was about to receive. Additionally, he has been very responsive when I contacted him through the patient portal. His staff is also first-rate and I am always warmly greeted at my appointments. I have complete trust in Dr. Beshai and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a cutting-edge Electrophysiologist with a great personality and sense of humor. Ten years ago I had an AFIB ablation procedure at the University Of Chicago in which Dr. Beshai was the surgeon. Prior to this procedure I was in the emergency room monthly due to AFIB. Since the ablation I have not had an AFIB incident and consider that procedure a miracle in my life. Dr. Chiu, my cardiologist, whom I see on a regular basis, initially set me up with Dr. Beshai.

Dr. Beshai was timely and efficient. He examined me thoroughly, speaking of my prior history and medical background, and made me feel I was in his very good medical care. He and his office staff together are helping me to take care of some medical deficiencies for which I needed help(i.e. my portable pacemaker monitoring device has still not come although the surgery, out of town, was nearly 4 months ago) I highly recommend his services and will be continuing with his office.

Dr. Beshai is amazing! I became a patient of Dr. Beshai in Oct 2021 after I had an ablation done by another local Doctor in June 2021 for SVT. I continued having symptoms. I started seeing Dr. Beshai a year ago for my occasional bouts of Afib that began over twenty years ago. Over the past few years they had become more frequent and I was not responding to traditional heart medications. We discussed my options, and I opted to have him perform Afib catheter ablation on June 3rd, 2021. It has been almost six months and I can say that it was a complete success. A belated thanks to Dr Beshai for the great care & successful procedures that were performed on my husband. Within a week I had an an appointment with Dr. Beshai at which time he recommended me having an ablation surgery to correct my heart problem I. I moved from Florida to Scottsdale last year and Dr Beshai was highly recommended to me by my Primary Care Physician. With the pandemic the only appointment I could get was virtual. I was very disappointed as I hoped my first visit would be in person. Well, I was pleasantly surprised and couldn't have asked for a more thorough, impressive, well prepared for meeting. He offers options and you have a voice in the decision making. He works with you on medications. He is not one to stick you on meds and just leave you there forever! Dr. Beshai recognized my medical situation instantly, recommended options and within 2 1/2 weeks of my first visit with him my AFIB was fixed. He saw how distressed I was trying to deal with AFIB and knowing that medication wasn't going to work for me, we discussed surgery. I agreed and Dr. Beshai and Maddie went out of their way to schedule my ablation surgery as soon as possible. The surgical procedure done by Dr. Beshai was perfect; he effectively and efficiently fixed my heart rhythm problem. That was almost 2 years ago and I have had no recurring AFIB. He explained the procedure beforehand carefully, and I had a great deal of confidence in his expertise. I would highly recommend him. Dr. Beshai is so professional, kind and caring. My condition was AFIB and he remedied it with Ablation surgery.. because I had a bad reaction to medication used to control AFIB we concurred that surgery was the answer. I have been AFIB free for almost 2 years now.. He is the best!

In 2013, back in Illinois, I had an ablation procedure done by another doctor because of a severe afib. The issues came back and I began seeing Dr. Beshai in late 2016. In five minutes, I could tell he had an entirely different nature. The words that come to mind when I think of Dr. Beshai is kind, patient, caring and competent. Highly competent. From the beginning, I felt assurance I was in capable hands, but even more, that he actually cares about his patients. I redeveloped afib and added aflutter as well. Dr. Beshai thoroughly explained my options and we tried medication for over a year. After a hospitalization where I needed a cardio-version, we agreed that a second procedure (for me) made sense. The difference in both the surgery itself and my post-surgical experience was literally night and day. The first time, I was in tremendous pain after the procedure and actually experienced worse symptoms for almost two months. With Dr. Beshai's surgical expertise, I was virtually pain free in a couple of days and felt fantastic afterward. 90 days post-surgery, I was off all meds and am doing great. Do not hesitate to see Dr. Beshai for any heart-related issue. You could not be in better hands and I thank God for providing such a wonderful doctor. When I first called Dr. Beshai’s office I left a message with his service. I was shocked to personally receive a call back from Dr. Bashai. And that is when I knew he was the dr for me. I was terrified when I first went to see him. Maddie is amazing...sweet and efficient she made me feel comfortable immediately. Then Dr. Bashai was all I expected him to be. Very knowledgeable without any arrogance....he listened to me and understood my life situation at the time as I was dealing with a terminally ill brother. He showed empathy and compassion and assured me I would be ok. And ok I am. Dr. Bashai performed an ablation three months ago. I just had my follow up and am doing great. I cannot say enough wonderful things about how well run his office is thanks to Maddie. I called with questions a few times and Maddie called me back the same day with answers. Today is the 3rd anniversary of an epi - ablation that Dr. Beshai performed on me when he was associated with the Mayo Clinic. On 11/11/14 he and his team worked on me for 8 and 1/2 hours. It was a success as today marks a third year without any episodes and problems with my arrhythmia and ARVD. I am so grateful to Dr. Beshai for his skill, kindness and the hope he has given to me. Dr. Beshai was the first doctor in four years of seeing multiple doctors to tell me I was on the wrong medication and it was not helping my heart condition. He took time to talk to my fiancé and myself about my heart issues, medications, and what the future would entail with my diagnosis. Due to him taking the time to hear about my symptoms and what happens after I have the symptoms and how I feel, he was able to diagnose me properly and change my medication. Since changing, I have never felt better! He is also always available through the patient portal to send a message or ask for a refill on a prescription. He is extremely prompt in his responses. I met Dr. Beshai in 2015 at the Mayo Clinic when I made a long overdue decision to get an ablation for a SVT that was causing me so much fear and anxiety most of my life. It had been misdiagnosed and brushed off by so many doctors in the past. He was so kind, understanding, and incredibly knowledgeable! I felt so comfortable with him during our initial consultation that I told my Fiancé I was finally going to get this ablation done after years of being too scared to have it done. I felt so comfortable and confident in his ability to treat it. After suffering through 7 years experiencing terrible arrhythmia symptoms, I was referred by a family friend to Dr John Beshai. Within the first visit, we setup a plan to diagnose what type of arrhythmia I had been experiencing. We were referred to Dr. Beshai and from the first contact we were very impressed with the personal care we received. My husband was having some symptoms and Dr. Beshai got us in to see him right away. My husband needed an outpatient procedure and getting it scheduled and approved through insurance was painless. I have been a patient of Dr. Beshai for the past 6 years. I had the option of working with multiple doctors through the Mayo clinic and Dr. Beshai was the best. He gave me excellent input on my afib condition and laid out all of the options. With a full understanding of my condition, I was able to understand where the treatment would lead based on how I was responding. Ultimately I required ablation that was performed by Dr. Beshai and now I'm symptom free.

Dr.Beshai has the expertise you need in Cardiology. His experience, communication skills and compassion for patients is superb. I am a neuroscience and physiologist, and I taught cardiac physiology at a large university -- so I know exceptional talent when I see it in this field.
