I had my gastric bypass in 2018 and had to get an emergency surgical procedure in 2021 and another one yesterday and he’s the only surgeon I trust and would let do any procedure on me. He’s really a great doctor! The best ever!

I had weight loss surgery last year in January of 2017 and 3 months after I started getting numb in my stomach and and legs really bad, loss all power in my legs was in the hospita and nursing homel from July 27th to August 27th. On July 31st 2017 Dr. Coon called my parents and told them I was going to DIE if I didn't get a steroid shot treatment and I would go fast if they didn't ok it. I never got one and when I confronted him about it he lied to my face.

Greatest experience ever! I had gastric bypass five months ago. Consult, approval, surgery, care, and so much attention from Dr. Coon and all of his staff. Family like feeling in the office. So happy and no complications!

Dr. Coon has that country Doctor bedside manner. He is patient, soft spoken and most of all professional and honest about your procedure. Sometimes your wait is a little long, but no one seems to mind because he gives you the time needed to discuss and answer any questions you may have. Also, it fords you the time to visit with others and their experiences. It has been over five years and I have NOT gain the weight back. If you are considering WL surgery, I recommend Dr. Coon.
