John Joseph Corrales-Diaz

I was very pleased with Dr. Diaz, who was filling in for our regular Dr. He was thorough and patient with our son, who is not a fan of the Dr office at all. We were very pleased and appreciative his advice and care for our son today. Thank you Dr. Diaz.

I first met Dr Diaz in the hospital following the birth of my first child, in 1987. He was the pediatrician we used for 30 years as we raised our 6 children. He is currently the pediatrician for 7 of my grandchildren, 2 of whom have special needs. He listens carefully, goes the extra mile, and takes time to educate parents in a way that is clear and helps them give better home care. He is a stellar physician.

Been seeing him since the day my son was born 12 years ago. Has always been very professional and knowledgeable and his staff over the years has always been amazing. have never trusted any other Doctor with our son.

When we first started seeing Dr. Diaz everything seemed okay. He came across as a little judgey about our child going to a daycare but other than that, he talked to us like people not idiots, at first. Recently my child has been getting sick very frequently (vomiting, diarrhea, and then refusing to eat with a fever) so I took them in, my concern was dehydration. Dr. Diaz basically told me that my child was fine and dismissed me. When I had to take my child in a little over a week later because of the fever, he asked me 'What is it this time?' My child was obviously miserable and he just didn’t seem to care. Rather than taking the time to educate me on what to look for and when to be concerned with dehydration and being understanding that I’m concerned about the health of my child, he just acted like I was making it up or over-reacting.

I just finished a 12mo checkup with my daughter with Dr. Corrales-Diaz and I would never recommend him to another parent. We came for a one time visit for a check up and immunizations and were frustrated with how he interacted with our daughter, lecturing us based on previous medical care that he didn't ask about, showed an extreme lack of vaccine knowledge and was dismissive of us as parents. His nurse was incredible and we were very grateful for the she cared for us.

Not sure why thoa guy became a doctor. His bedside manner is terrible. Cant really say if he would know what he was doing in the event of a serious illness because thank God, my children are healthy. He is rude and horrible with children and adults. He should have been a computer guy instead...we went back to Kitsap Childrens Hospital...

He is always very caring to his patients.You don't have to struggle to get an appointment with him.He is always spot-on with his diagnoses, we just love having him as my daughter's primary doctor.
