John Lauer

Not what I would call a compassionate nor trustworthy medical pro. He rushes through conversations with patients, is deeply patronizing, and apparently inaccessible to his staff. Please seek help elsewhere.

Does his job.

My first few years of college (2010 - January 2013) I partied and experiment with substances I should not have. I was diagnosed by Dr. John Lauer with Schizophrenia. After years of being their patient on a medication that caused me slight vision loss, huge weight gain, and extreme depression, another psychiatrist Dr. John Yost, thought my original diagnosis was wrong and I actually went through what is called polysubstance induced psychosis. I do not recommend Dr. Lauer as a provider. He was paid money by the pharmaceutical companies to prescribe their products. I sought an expert witness, who is a psychiatrist, Dr. Galatzer-Levy to review my medical records. Upon review, he stated that I did not meet the diagnostic standard for having schizophrenia. I am extremely displeased with the care I was given.

He saved my life!!! He was straight forward and honest!! He's the doctor who finally got my diagnosis right after seeing other doctors for 10 years and I was finally able to get the proper treatment!!!!

Very easy to talk to and professional. I wish he had more office hours.

He is the most worthless doctor they have dont trust a Damn thing he says stay clear of this man we are fileing a lawsuit against him and his office
