A friend had a facelift through this MD, and her results were amazing, so I went to see him. Other than upselling me on procedures that didn't address my concerns, my biggest concern was the fact that he uses a paramedic for anesthesia. This was enough for me to seek care with another surgeon. A paramedic and a handful of pills is no way to administer anesthesia. I don't know if this is ethical, never mind legal. He seems like a nice guy and I am sure he is a competent surgeon, but the anesthesia was a huge concern for me.

Dr. Standefer is a genius. He listened to all of my concerns. He knows what you want before you tell him. He is just that good! I look natural but better and that was exactly what I wanted. Staff was amazing and even the Anesthesiologist was great. I was a little nervous before surgery and he stopped what he was doing to help alleviate my concerns. Would recommend 100%.

I can"t think of anyone better than Dr. Standerfer to trust my face with. I was sure I would still look like myself, but it was still a scary decision to make. I couldn't be more impressed with my results. Dr. Standerfer ihas the personality to put you at ease through the proceedure.

Dr Standefer and team are top notch! Double board certified and an excellent bedside manner. Always willing to spend as much time answering questions as is needed. Explained the pros and cons of different face lifts and brow lifts. Truly an artist who cares about his patients. He wants us to be happy with our outcome. Over 8000+ face lifts, but I always felt as if I was his only patient. Personalized service from start to finish.

Dr. Standefer and his staff are very friendly and professional. He was the first surgeon that I contacted for a consult. It was very easy to get the consult scheduled and all my appointments were on time. I had 6 other consults in the DFW area and wanted to meet with Dr. Standefer one more time before making my final decision. His staff didn't hesitate about having to schedule a second consult. He answered all my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I never felt rushed or pressured into making my decision. After my second consult, I was 100% sure and confident that he would do an awesome job. He recommended only procedures that I needed and didn't attempt to do any add on recommendations that I didn't need. I am 6 weeks out of surgery and am very happy with my results. I had surgery just prior to Christmas and was able to have contact information available and access to the office, if needed, even on Christmas Day. I would highly recommend Dr. Standefer.

I had no idea what to expect or what I was getting into. I hated all my photos that were taken of me and posted on social media. Dr S was excellent and the staff was knowlegable, personable and unhurried. I was treated like a real person with thoughts and feelings. My pre procedure concerns were heard and taken into account in the process. My post procedure process was very good, longer and more initially physically challenging than i expected, but definitely in line with what i was told to expect.

I felt as though my neck and face were blending together thus creating the linebacker look. As a woman over 50, that look is not what I want to project! Dr. Standafer is truly an artist! He made me look and feel beautiful again. His office staff was excellent and very patient with me! Would do it again!

dr standefer and his staff r absolutely wonderful i am 66 but looked like i was 96 but after dr standefer got finished with me there was absolutely no dought god has to be working in his hands and mind. he and his staff r wonderful . i look great i never dreamed i would look this great but i do and i am very very pleased

I followed Dr. Standefer's practice for several years prior to making my decision to have a face lift. I believed he had the best outcomes of any plastic surgeon I researched - and I researched a lot of them. Having surgery on your face is scary business. You hear all the bad stories. They made it easy. Walked me through what to expect, and assured me they were there if I needed anything.

Dr. Standefer performed my face lift procedure 3 years ago and I was so thrilled with the results that I returned to have him perform my brow lift and eyelid procedures as well. I was more than satisfied with both. What sold me on Dr. Standefer after interviewing 3 other plastic surgeons was that his hobby was photography so I knew his eye was fine tuned and that he was an artist. I felt that important. Additionally, he was completely qualified medically, having performed over 10,000 facial surgeries. His bedside manner is so comfortable and informative, answering all my questions with patience. I never felt hurried. Another BIG plus was that I didn't need to be put under for my surgery, so recovery was very quick. I highly recommend Dr. Standefer for any facial surgery!

I was so surprised of how little pain I experienced the days following surgery. Recovery was easy and I was at work on Monday - wore a cute scarf around my neck but no one had a clue. I was thrilled to be able to do oral sedation and had no recollection of the surgery. One last thing...I was impressed that Dr. Standefer never tried to over sell me on additional procedures. I did inquire about a lower face lift and he gave me the pros and cons of doing both or just doing the neck lift and ultimately agreed I could wait on the additional procedure. I really appreciated that! I love my results...even better than I imagined it would turn out.

I had a wonderful experience with Patricia Kiernan, RN, she completed facial injections and lip injections, it was truly amazing. Pat was so professional and gentle. And is truly a perfectionist at her craft. The results were amazing, I've already had so many compliments on how wonderful I looked and I will be back.
