Best doctor in the world

Great doctor and great physical therapy doctor and the office staff is great and very helpful.

I was referred to Doctor Townsend office from another's Doctors office where I was receiving my treatment for over a year. I was told by the staff members at Dr. Townsend office (Jessica and Betty) that my initial appointment must be after 2pm, and I informed them of my hour commute and innability to keep that appointment due to needing to pick my child up from school and asked for an alternate date or time. I wasn't offered and alternate appointment and I was told by the staff in a rude tone of voice that I'm putting off my medical treatment since I wasn't able to comply with the one offered date and one offered time of Tuesday after 2pm. How unprofessional is that to only be offered one date/time for service then being cancelled by the provider ? Furthermore, I'm the person seeking care why am I being treated as if I'm a burden to be endured or treated as if my reason for not being able to attend the one offered appointment not valid? What happened to the days where the patient is treated with kindness, dignity, and respect? In addition to businesses making reasonable accommodations for patients and not taking the cookie cutter approach to treatment in effort to make sure individuals needs are met! Making sure my medical care is definitely high on my priority list, and just because I couldn't make one appointment date and time doesn't give this office the right to judge or mistreat me! I'm grateful this happened over the phone before I drove out to the office and experienced it first hand. I will drive across DFW until I find a Doctor office that treats me with respect! Dr. Townsend is an awesome doctor. His staff is very very wonderful, kind and caring. Going to this facility has been very beneficial for me. I have several area's the need to work on. My therapy is really intense and getting better each day. I recommend this facility and doctor to all workers compensation injured workers.
