Dr. John Louis Waldman

I have been a patient of Dr. Waldman's downtown office for over two years. I recently switched over to his Squirrel Hill office. Kathy who works the front desk is incredibly rude. Well today Dr. Waldman showed his true colors too. I went to have crown placed and called prior to confirm my appointment. So when I arrived for today's visit, Dr. Waldman informed me that "We're all adults here, you will not be called to confirm your appointments, and do not call here to confirm them." Unbelievable! I have paid this man thousands of dollars, and he and his staff thinks it's acceptable to speak to his patients this way. I have never experienced anything like this from someone who claims to be a professional. Don't waste your time or money with these people. There's plenty prosthodontists in the Pittsburgh area who actually are professionals and treat their patients with respect.

It’s a shame it’s taken me 3 well reviewed dentists in the area to finally have found John Waldman. He is beyond the wait if you need excellent dental care & His knowledge has surpassed my expectations. I need a lot of restorative dental work done and I am on my way to a beautiful smile. Even the temporary teeth he had made for me look beautiful I almost hesitate to give him 5 stars as he’s booked up enough already. Dr. Waldman is exceptionally skilled in creating your dream smile. When I had a front tooth chip a few years ago, he immediately made time to help rebuild my tooth and did a fabulous job. Complete professionalism and customer awareness. Dr. Waldman is exceptionally good with patients. I had several tooth implants that were begun with visits at Dr. Waldman, and he was excellent at explaining the process and getting me through what seems to be a very scary proposition. In the end it was great. That’s a lot to say about a dentist. The other hygienists and helpers at the office are also very professional. The lady that cleans my teeth is nothing more than a Mastro, she is gentle and does an exceedingly well job. Complete professionalism and customer awareness. This man is legit. I am extremely picky, yet have full faith and trust that this guy will think through every necessary step and situation to come up with the best outcome. His cosmetic work is great. I am a difficult patient and yet I am happy with him and he somehow puts up with my extreme anxiety towards dental work.

This man is, simply put... The Best there is ! His skill is excellent, his demeanor, even better !

I came to Dr. Waldman with a perplexing dental problem. I was experiencing pain daily for over a year. It was very troubling to me because I had been trying to get answers for all the discomfort that I was experiencing for a year. When I met Dr. Waldman he listened, cared and believed me. Dr. Waldman diagnosed what the cause of all the pain was stemming from immediately. I was so relieved and thankful. Dr. Waldman is a dentist that truly cares about his patients and their dental needs. Charlotte, Lynn and Debbie are so nice and made me feel so at ease at my visit. Dr. Waldman and staff have always been great providers for me and my family.

Dr. Waldman is very accommodating to my situation. I went to his downtown office when I worked in town. After I retired, I went to his Squirrel Hill office.

Dr John Waldman is a miracle worker. He is kind, funny, honest and does extraordinary work. You would never know you had a procedure done after he’s finished because his work is perfect! This is denistry at its BEST!

I am TERRIFIED of dentists and needles. Doctor Waldman made sure I was comfortable from beginning to end. He made sure I knew what he was doing before he did it. Debbie was very patient and kind as well. The staff is very professional and accommodating. Doctor Waldman and his wonderful staff have cured my fear of going to the dentist.

I would give my experience having a cleaning by Charlotte and being seen by Dr. Waldman a 6 start rating if I could! This was my first time having a cleaning and check up with Dr. Waldman at this office. Charlotte was very careful and thoughtful of my gum sensitivities and offered me some new ideas about how to clean some hard to reach areas between my teeth. I was sent home with new tools (at no charge) to try. Dr. Waldman was open and kind about the dental work he thought I needed to have in the near future. I will definitely be returning. A huge perk is that when you sit in the dentist chair your views from the 15th floor of downtown Pittsburgh are awesome. I have been a patient of Dr. Waldman for over forty years. Dr Waldman has treated me for general dental health and for special needs when necessary. For specific needs outside Dr. Waldmans' expertise anyone he has recommended has done an excellent job. Dr Waldman's office is professional, caring, efficient and welcoming. They always schedule appointments at the patient's convenience. Dr Waldman's office is also very professional, efficient and helpful when processing insurance claims.
