Pretty disappointed overall. I don’t feel he did a good job or stood by his work. Dr. Bishop does have good bedside manner, but wants an additional 3000 to fix the things I went in for in the first place. I wish I had looked into different doctors or at least had a paper stating the things I wanted as well as his response of “oh yes, don’t worry, we will get it all”. Each time I went in, I got a different excuse as to why he didn’t do it as expected. Response to Dr. I would love response to the things I am actually talking about in my review?! That visit in the office for fluids has nothing to do with my frustration, and is nothing I wouldn’t expect from any doctor post surgery. While I did get touch up, it was more than $25. I got two areas done, one of which was the flanks. I feel areas were missed on both sides, but one side was worse. I asked the Dr. for a quote on my flanks post op. Instead of saying we already got that area, he gave me a quote of 3000 to get my flanks. When I asked him why he didn’t get my flanks he changed the new area quoted to being my back. The areas we discussed before surgery are the areas he is now calling my back. The 3000 quote was also to get the area on the stomach that was not stretched skin but an area I needed done again. The doctor said a small potion on the stomach may be stretched skin, but it was mostly just a touch up. HE used those words. So I know you said you do your best to have happy patients, but I am frustrated every time I look in the mirror. It is depressing to think of how much money was spent (7000), and I have no way of getting it fixed unless I come up with another 3000 Pretty disappointed overall. My wife went to Dr Bishop to have some minor work done after years of cancer affected her body, an oblation that had some negative side effects on her body, and some persistent pain she'd been experiencing after she went through early menopause due to cancer. She felt like when she went to other plastic surgeons to get opinions on treatments, most felt like going into a meat market. She mentioned a couple in particular where she said the staff and doctor made her feel very uncomfortable and tried to sell her on procedures that she neither wanted nor needed. Dr. Bishop and his staff were way different. It felt like going into a medical office, with staff dressed like medical staff, and not an intent to sell her procedures she didn't need. She has been doing fitness for about 12 years and so fortunately she had more options than most women of her age who have experienced childbirth. So Dr Bishop was able to give her custom solutions which resulted in lower cost for us. When she came out of the surgery center and the effects of anesthesia were wearing off, they were very kind and patient with her. Dr Bishop came in and checked on her, gave her very clear directions as did his staff on dealing with the surgery over the next few days. Even though the next two weeks or 3 weeks post surgery were tough, they always told her that it was expected and told her timelines for when she would feel better. As a husband, I attended the follow-up meetings with her and was always super impressed by how kind and professional the staff was and by Dr Bishop's bedside manner. He was so kind and positive with her, very clear on giving continued directions to full recovery and super gentle with her body given the stress her body had experienced. During the first couple of weeks I think we both wondered whether she did the right thing given the pain, but as she has gotten better according to the schedule that Dr Bishop gave her, and as we have gone back to him, we've seen the benefits to her body. The pre-surgery pain levels went down, her body looks great, her self esteem is back, and we are 100% sure we not only made the right decision but picked the right doctor. I recommend him 100%. I chose Dr. Bishop because I know his family. Not the best way to pick a plastic surgeon. I was pleased with the face lift and neck skin reduction. They look great, considering my age. I also had him take the droop out of my eye lids top and bottom. The bottom lids drooped ,after the fourth visit taking five months of visits Dr. Bishop did a small (painful) stiches to the lower corner of my eyes. They now are almost where I would like them. I had him do all the procedures at one time, which may have been too big of an undertaking. I do recommend him for most surgeries but not eyes.

I had Breast Aug Replacement with reconstruction done by Dr Bishop. His office staff were really nice every visit and remembered me each visit which made it personable... I am just 10 days out of surgery and feel confident and excited about my look. Dr Bishop was very thorough in discussing my needs and wants. Surgery went really well, no complications at all. Dr. Bishop is great! He did my breast biopsy and was very good about explaining the procedure. I had minimum pain post-op and I am healing well.

I went into surgery with Dr.Bishop not only did my scars turn out ugly and horrible, my hole body shifted and looked awful and nothing like he said they would look. I am more embarrassed of my body now then before

Our experience was not pleasant. Dr.Bishop was not willing to honor his work and fix my wife’s implant. She has been in pain for months. He was rude and dismissed her pain completely.

My brother is a plastic surgeon & got a recommendation for Dr. Bishop from a former coworker that worked with him CA - He said he is a great surgeon & great guy and I saw both of this. I had 2 other consults for a tummy tuck & hernia repair and I really loved Dr. Bishop's personality the most, very friendly & personable. He made me feel comfortable with what I wanted done. The other surgeons had their own ideas what to do but Dr. Bishop listened to me and what I wanted & made it possible. He is also a lot more affordable and only had a month wait as opposed to other plastic surgeons who are years out & are very costly. I am almost 3 months post-op and I am very happy with my results. Dr. Jon Bishop did my surgery for a breast reduction. I had bad back problems. I was a DD and sagging. Now my breasts look perfect. Dr. Bishop is a caring and excellent doctor, great bed side manner and friendly staff. I am very pleased with the results.

The reason I ultimately chose to have an abdominoplasty done by Dr. Bishop was because of the reviews I had read about him. I had done a lot of research and it was due to the good experiences of others that I was willing to trust Dr. Bishop with this surgery to repair my abdominal wall after having 4 children. The results after 3 months are more than I could have expected and I am grateful I trusted such a delicate surgery to him. He knows what he is doing. I had experienced some very scary trauma after a previous surgery and was nervous about what might occur with this one. However, Dr. Bishop went to great lengths to make sure measures were taken before, during and after surgery to ensure I was safe and comfortable, as well. I just loved dealing with Dr. Bishop. Very nice man and really knows what he is talking about. I had carpal tunnel surgery done on both of my hands at the same time. One hand took longer to heal up and feel right because it had the most damage, but he worked with me on it and encouraged me the whole way. Definitely recommend him for this kind of work. His office was always helpful in getting the paperwork I needed so I could continue to be on a Leave of Absence while I was recuperating. I just loved dealing with Dr. Bishop. 6 months ago I wore a light color, thin fabric, v-neck t-shirt without a heavy undershirt for the first time in life. This was a week after Dr. Bishop performed gynecomastia surgery (liposuction and gland removal), and it was life changing! I couldn't be happier! Amazing service and the result of my otoplasty was great. I was instructed on all that would be going on and how the results would be. Then after an easy breezy surgery the results were great. Dr. Bishop was great to work with on all my questions and concerns.

First I visited a well known plastic surgeon in Lindon. Then I visited Dr. Bishop in Orem and there had a much better and more comfortable experience, so I went with him. He did an excellent surgical job (brachioplasty) and placed the incisions right where I wanted. Now my arms look much better. Also I was impressed with the surgical facility. I had a breast reduction procedure by Dr. Bishop and so far I'm very happy with the results. I've been able to breathe better, run easier, and my shoulder and back pain went away almost immediately. My clothes fit amazing and I wore a swimsuit for the first time in YEARS. It has been a liberating experience. I'm still just a few months out so scars are still healing and certain areas are still numb, but even with things as they are now, it's worth it. Dr. Bishop did a great job listening to what I was looking for and choosing the size that would be best suited for my body. I look curvy and proportionate and I love it. Dr. Bishop and his staff are amazing. I appreciated how kind the staff was when I was nervous. At one point, I had a question after hours and got their on call service - equally nice and quick to get a response from Dr. Bishop. I always felt like a priority and that my worries about the procedure were addressed properly.

I chose them because as I looked around for different plastic surgeons, they were the most efficient with getting back to me and helped it be a relatively quick process! Dr. Bishop took time to get to know me personally and even though I was nervous about getting a reduction, he made me feel comfortable and was so helpful in explaining the process. Every time I go there, the staff is so kind and helpful. They really know and care about their patients. Dr. Bishop's staff was able to quickly submit a request to my insurance to get the surgery approved, which I know is a difficult and time consuming process for them. After I was initially denied by my insurance, they resubmitted a second claim that same day and then got it approved! Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Do not get your nose fixed here!. It’s taken over a year for me to actually write this review. Results were devastating and I will live with it every day. Wonderful doctor. Very very happy with service and results. Medically necessary surgery and I wouldn’t pick a different doctor again. 10/10 on all fronts.

I went to Dr. Jon for a reduction and it was the best decision of my life! He did so great to really talk to me about the procedure and explain everything to me. You could tell he genuinely cared about how I felt about it and about the changes it would bring to my life. To top it off, Angela at the front desk and all the other staff were so friendly and kind! Dr bishop was very kind and professional. He explained every detail about my surgeries very well. I knew I could trust in him. I loved that he had a few follow up appointments after my surgery. He’s a must if you’re looking for a platicar surgieron.

My experience was really good. Dr. Bishop and staff are very polite and professional. They accommodated my tight schedule and the surgery was easy and painless. The recovery was much quicker than I had imagined and I was overall impressed with the process. Good job.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Bishop and his staff. My primary care physician recommended Dr Bishop so he was the only consult I had. When I walked out of the office I knew I had found the right surgeon. His compassion and confidence that I would be happy with the results reassured me. When I came back in to go over all the details and get scheduled, he made absolutely certain I understood everything. Post-op wasn't easy, but each time I had a question his staff was right on top of it and Dr. Bishop was quick to call me back. By the way, the nursing staff in the hospital were FABULOUS. As for results, I spent a lot of time before surgery looking at before and after pictures wondering what my results might be. Anyone reading this has probably looked at a lot of those pictures. There were many that I believed to be too good to be true and I believed they must have been photoshopped. However, 3 months post-op, I have ended up with results that are too good to be true. I had several people ask me for his contact info and I gave his cards to them, but I'm all out now. I can't recommend Dr. Bishop and his staff highly enough. Dr Bishop and all of his staff are so amazing! Every time I walked in the office, everyone greeted me like a close friend and we’re so welcoming. I had a consultation elsewhere before seeing Dr Bishop and I didn’t feel comfortable there. After my consultation with Dr Bishop I was completely at ease and confident Dr Bishop would be the surgeon I would choose. Maybe Dr Bishop only has 5 star ratings because his staff edits out the bad reports? We'll see if that happens to this one. VERY unhappy with my breast reduction results (4 bumps, lumpy, indented, dog ears, etc). When I asked Dr Bishop personally about the results, he told me he didn't need to ever see me again (5 weeks post-surgery). When I dropped off a letter 3 weeks ago asking what could be done to fix the problem, he has totally ignored me and not responded. I asked Darci to send me a copy of my specimen results (which she did), and I asked her if she would ask Dr. Bishop to respond to my letter. He still hasn't. Very frustrated. Would not recommend him.
