I was pregnant back in 1999 and he “HAD TO DO A BREAST EXAM” and he was doing it and got so close to my face!! And when he did an exam of my Uterus he always touched my cliltoris! I have lived with this for 22 years and am so traumatized by this! PLEASE anyone else feel this way??

Dr Kattenhorn has been my gynecologist for many years. He has always been professional and caring. He is retiring in August and I now have to find another Dr. It will be difficult to find anyone who compares. I wish him well in the next chapter of his life.

Kind, competent and caring. Always genuine . I’ve been seeing Dr K for 25 yearsnow. I’m very sad to see him retire but so happy for this well deserved next stage of life. Thank you for all the years of great care and compassion.

I was very uncomfortable during the pelvic exam. I feel like he touched me in ways that I do not feel were appropriate, he did not need to spread lube onto my labia -- he could have put it on the speculum. He did not need to wipe me down after he was done, I am usually handed a towel, I'm a grown woman. He also did not tell me when he put his fingers inside of me or when he put the speculum inside of me. It is very uncomfortable for anyone in this position and any doctor should know to walk a patient through their exam. I left feeling very confused about what had happened to me and felt very uncomfortable with the lack of communication and frivilous touching of my body. Very unprofessional and would not recommend that anyone see this doctor.

I have enjoyed his service for 19 years and am so sad to see him leave. I understand. I too have retired, but the leaving was sad.

Excellent, caring doctor. He is everything a doctor should be, and has been very helpful to me.

Dr Kattenhorn always makes me feel at ease. He is very easy to talk to. He listens to my concerns and addresses any issues I have. I will miss him when he retires.

I could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. Kattenhorn. He is thorough, professional, courteous, and a highly skilled and knowledgeable doctor. I am very thankful for the excellent medical care and good advice he has given me the last 39 years.

Dr. Kattenhorn takes the time to listen to you, the issues you are having and then recommend your best options. He is very supportive of his patients and their fierce advocate if you are in labor. He will be greatly missed when he retires in the Fall.

I had 4 surgeries this year 2 foot, 1 knee and a hysterectomy. My hysterectomy performed by Dr Kattenhorn was the smoothest, least amount of pain and recovery. I am beyond pleased. He's very knowledgeable, funny, makes you feel comfortable, hes very easy to talk to and not feel silly about my questions. Plus his staff is amazing and friendly. They all go above and beyond. You feel more like part of the family than just another patient. Highly recommend him. I'm sad he's retiring this yea

Dr. Kattenhorn was amazing! Very friendly, personable, and considerate. He really listened to my concerns and thoroughly answered all of my questions. He was detailed in his explanations and thorough in exams/testing to help me figure out what was going on. I wish I would have found him years ago!

Dr. Kattenhorn is great! I have been going to him for twenty years and he delivered both of my children.

Dr. Kattenhorn is one of the Best doctors in Boise! He’s a great listener, understands what you’re saying or trying to say!

I've been with Dr. Kattenhorn for close to 30 years. He answers all my questions and concerns and I never feel rushed. He is the perfect example of what all doctors should aspire to be like.

After a less than ideal experience at another gynecologist, I was so relieved by the care given by Dr. Kattenhorn and his staff. Highly recommend him!!!

I have seen Dr. Kattenhorn for over 20 years! He is amazing! He spends time with his patients. He listens to you carefully and thoroughly explains any issues. I would recommend him to anyone, as well as anyone in his clinic.
