Dr. Cheng’s quiet confidence backed by actual skill in diagnosis and surgery truly makes him a world class surgeon. He diagnosed and successfully treated a condition that two other hand surgeons, both educated at elite medical schools with top-tier residencies, failed to properly diagnose over a six-month period. I have the scars to prove that the surgeries did in fact happen, but only 6-weeks after getting out of the operating room, I’m able to return to most of my pre-injury activities almost entirely without pain. The lingering issues will simply take time to resolve, which Dr. Cheng had discussed prior to my surgeries. I feel he is an intelligent dr. I felt in the 20 minutes he did not dig in to my complex health history enough. I feel he made assumptions even after I asked additional informational. Did not even offer steps that we could take just ended the visit without any recommendations that make sense. He was not very sensitive to my health problems. Not saying he was rude but indifferent. Like he did not want to help.

Dr Cheng is a world class doctor in his field. He is calm, patient and takes time during examination. I highly recommend him.

I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time and started to get a little frustrated. Once Dr. Cheng into the room to evaluate my issues I understood why. Dr. Cheng is extremely thorough and takes the time to understand and suggest a plan of action. I could not believe he took almost an hour with me. I'm very thankful to have met him and trust he is the right doctor to perform my surgery.
