Jonathan Lum Chin

Dr. Chin and his staff are very competent, knowledgeable and caring. He has been my Urologist for years and goes above and beyond to ensure you are informed and cared for. He is now also my husband's doctor for the last year and a half. He helped save his life from stage 3 renal cancer. He removed his kidney which contained a 4.6cm malignant tumor. I have the highest confidence in Dr. Chin and his staff is also excellent. Over the years there have been a handful of times I had to wait 45 minutes to an hour which is irritating but it's because he makes sure each patients issues are resolved and they are taken care of. Usually I'm in and out without delay. I could see why someone only coming once or twice would be frustrated but I would advise it's not typical and don't let 1 or 2 bad reviews deter you from choosing an excellent doctor. Typically it's the bad experiences you usually hear about so I wanted to take the time to share my positive experiences. I would highly recommend Dr. Chin

Horrible experience with careless staff . My husband scheduled an procedure about 4 weeks ago, the office staff waited until my husband showed up for procedure to check our insurance to make sure we had coverage . They tell him at his appointment to get the procedure done we would have to pay the whole surgery out of pocket and that our insurance will not cover it! Knowing that the information about our insurance seemed wrong my husband canceled and left the appointment in which he took 2 days off for. I then called our insurance to find out that the office misunderstood and that our insurance would have covered everything!I called the office to let them know and the women I spoke to said she didn't know anything about and would call insurance to check on what I told them and call to reschedule. I'm sure the doctor is a great doctor but because of this awful experience we will have to find another doctor who's staff is more professional. Horrible experience with careless staff . Good doc. Go Harvard!

Ironically, based on the rating dated 2/26/16 in the Antioch office, the initial phone call with the front desk, made me question if I wanted to put my trust in this doctor and his staff. The young lady was rude, in not listening to explanation as to why I was referred, just to have her come back and say to me, she has the reason for my referral right in front of her. Just like she needed to see the doctor's availability, I needed to check mine as well, since I do have huge secular responsibilities. The fact that I had to check my schedule, didn't go over to well either. I will let you know more, once I have my visit.

Waiting time is long they waste your at least one hour for no reason ???????????????????? doctor chin always late !!!

Always quick and easy in and out experience. Answered all our questions for my father. Would reocommend to anyone.

Dr. Chin treated me for kidney stones. Overall appears competent. Not the greatest communicator and could improve on wait times. Front office staff not client-centric. Perhaps just inexperienced but would benefit from customer service training. .Really felt I was impinging on her time when she requested that I track down the results of the blood work Dr.Chin ordered even though they were in HIS hospital system.
