I have been seeing Dr.Meharg since 2018 for pulmonary issues. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and person . We have a great rapport .other patients have said the same and also his staff . I would highly recommend him .He has compassion .yet says it like it is. I hope home he is the last pulmonary doctor in my life time .I have had to wait at some visits , like most doctors visits . His staff is very pleasant and accommodating .He is a asset to CharterCare Medical Associates and Roger Williams Medical Center . I feel he handled my care very well with the Covid issues and my health risks . Kudos to Dr.Meharg .

I have had Dr.Joseph V. Meharg for my physician for many years. And prior to being my Doctor he was my Mother's Doctor. He is the best Lung Doctor, Critical Care Lung Doctor, that I have ever had. He is Truly dedicated to His Patients, and His research.

Disgusting. Waiting over two hours and still was not seen. If I was 2 hours late, id have a $50 copay. And my 1 year old child didnt eat dinner until after 7pm because we left at 645pm and still had not been seen for a 430pm appointment. All while his kids are at home, eating dinner and probably getting ready for bed at this point. He shown he has no respect for patients time. I have a real problem with people with authoritative jobs and use it to their advantage. Don't waste your time. Find someone who values yout time and your family.

Horrible bedside manner, condescending, does not take his time, acts like you are wasting his time and truthfully doesn't care.
