Joseph Michael Ratliffe

Dr. Ratliffe treated me at Tidelands hospital murrells Inlet SC. Aug. 16 2019. I was suffering from diabetic hypoglycemia. Newly diagnosed with Diabetes I was very unnerved by the effect on my body from have very low blood sugar. Dr. Ratliffe was so down to earth, friendly beyond words and so professional. He was very Thorough and his testing and diagnosing my situation. He genuinely put my needs before anything else. He took time to explain what was happening and what our plan was to get me well. Just an amazing man. I wish he took on patients as a GP. I’d feel so confident in his hands. I’m a difficult patient as I have a few major Diseases including advanced heart disease/bypass, HIV, and Diabetes. He was so on top of his game.

I have been around and worked with doctors most of my life. I was a hospital corspman in the navy for 7 years and worked as a paramedic for 28 years. I was very impressed with the way he went about his work. He does remind me of my personal physican who I have had for 30+ years.
