Dr. Joshua Ty Smith

The office is way understaffed for the number of patients it has. Had to wait 4 months for my new patient appointment last year. To avoid scheduling issues with my next checkup, I scheduled it 6 months in advance when at the first appt. 4 days before the appt, they called and cancelled because the hygienist decided to go part time and here I am 6+ weeks later and they still haven't been able to get me in. They told me there is only one hygienist who works in the afternoon and they're only open 4 days/32hrs per week. The staff was all friendly and did a good job but doesn't matter if they're the best in the world if you can never be seen.

I have never been to a more caring establishment. I have been a patient since 2010. This office is a family and they make you feel a part of it. I send all my friends and family to Dr. Smith's office. Dr. Smith does not perform a procedure unless it is completely necessary.

Dr. Smith and his staff are absolutely amazing and I tell all my friends and family about them. From the second you walk in to the minute you walk out they always treat you so good. My family and I have been going to Dr. Smith for over 10 years and he does such great work.

My wife got false teeth here and they never got them adjusted correctly Was told she could pay for another set, to the tune of $4200.00. To boot she had to pay for her last office visit. Better quality out of a bubble gum machine. DO NOT GET FALSE TEETH HERE.

Exceptionally clean and classy clinic, staffed by friendly and experienced dental hygienists. Frankly, in all my days as a Level 5 Local Guide, I've never been to a dentist as professional as Dr. Smith. In fact, he's like family to me. 5/5 stars.

I’ve been going to Dr. Smiths office for over 5 years. Great dentist, Robin is awesome, Gina and Brandy are great, and office is clean. Feels like family.

As of 11-12-20 I am 80 % done with the procedure, I am just waiting for the bottom gums and jaw to heal so the implants can be attached. AS far as the procedure itself. I only felt the drill one time but it was because of an issue I had with that area, He immediately fixed it with another shot. I was shocked! after all of my teeth were removed I literally felt nothing during the whole process! I have added a before and after photo as well. So far this is what I look like. I feel you get what you pay for, meaning he isn’t the cheapest but the work he does and the environment is exceptional . It’s like buying a used car vs brand new F150 truck. I’m having 15k worth of work done on new set of teeth do you bad choices I made when I was younger. I could have saved about 3k going to a more fast food type chain of dentistry for the same thing but I feel the peace of mind and so far it’s all been a great experience and painless. I assume there will be some discomfort and pain after the major surgery is done but unless the Sh** hits the fan ( lol) I’m sticking with my original experience and review of Dr. Joshua Smith. I will edit this with photos when Dr Smith finishes the reconstruction. Josh Smith & his staff have been taking care of my family’s dental needs for the last 10 yrs. I cannot imagine having a better experience. Josh is a highly skilled professional and the staff surrounding him is second to none. I have recommended his practice to friends & co-workers alike and will continue to do so.

I always had "Dental Phobia" growing up - because going to the dentist always hurt! I didn't know what I was missing. When I go see Dr. Smith and his wonderful hygienists, they are so gentle and careful. The ladies in the front office are so kind and welcoming. They do a superb job of patient care!

I moved to the area about 16 years ago and had a hard time finding a new dentist. I’ve had my old Dentist or 35 years. For the first 10 years I lived here I would drive back to my hometown which was four hours away. I kept searching and found Dr. Smith. Him and his staff are so caring. They understand that I am a little nervous about dental procedures as I’ve had so many. He helps me make the best plan for me. His office staff is amazing. I absolutely love my hygienist. They have fast become a place I do not feel scared to go. I feel like I’m in good hands and everyone has my best interest. I am also transitioning my kids to Dr. Smith’s office as they’ve outgrown their pediatric dentist. Update. Well both my boys had their first appointment yesterday and they were very pleased. They loved Miss Gina and Ms Brandi. So glad this was a good experience for them as they had been with our old dentist for many years. I was a patient here but am looking for a new dentist. Very difficult to schedule any appointment less that 5-6 months out. REALLY? Does he not want to see patients, or does not want to hire enough staff to meet the needs of clients??? NOT FOR ME.

I had a broken tooth in my upper denture. Dr. Smith took it to the LAB (himself) to make sure it had gotten take care of...His staff is just like him AWESOME....If you have dental work needed go see Joshua T. Smith...

Dr. Smith is always so patient with my kids. He just finished up working on my daughter to pull a couple of baby teeth that needed out. Our family has been going to him for years, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My kids aren’t afraid to “go to the dentist” which says a lot about Dr. Smith and his staff.

What an amazing team!! Very pleasant from the start! I haven’t been to a dentist for a very long time ,so my nerves were everywhere!.From the moment I came in and spoke with Mrs. Robin(so hilarious she made me feel at ease ). Mrs. Dianne,Dr.Smith assistant was Awesome! Always keeping things calm when I felt tense.They were well prepared and didn’t get irritated when I had ALOT OF QUESTIONS. Very calm and patient.Dr Smith was amazing! My procedure took a little bit longer then we thought but Dr. Smith and his staff stayed until it was completed.Dr. Smith even called later that night to make sure everything was going well! My husband said ,that was awesome that they do that.One other thing that I notice was it was so calm and pleasant, every time I walked in the office from the start to finish it was Peaceful even through the pain !! Dr. Smith and his staff are wonderful!!! My family and I have been his patients for years, and we have received excellent care. Our care has consisted of an implant, replacement of crowns (which is done same day in his office - no temporary crowns), fillings, and routine hygiene cleanings. He and his staff listen to your concerns, pay attention to details, and make you feel at ease. They are very friendly, upbeat, and great to work with. I highly recommend using Joshua T. The staff and Dr. Smith are very nice but if you need to reschedule your appointment it will be MONTHS before they can get you in.

Dr smith is a top notch dentist. His entire staff is very nice and professional. The only problem we have is with the lady that does insurance. She clearly has no idea on how to file on insurance or how to call insurance companies before service to get a pre determined amount of out of pocket expenses for customers.
