Dr. Joshua H Yang

Dr. Yang was referred to us by our pediatrician; he is a fantastic doctor. I have two boys that have been seeing him for a few years; one yearly, and the other more often as he gets older. Never once have we felt rushed or left without getting all our questions answered. He is extremely patient and through with his explanations - every time. He treats both kids as respected patients unlike some doctors who speak to me as if they are not in the room. We have not encountered a single negative experience. The office staff is also kind and easy to work with in person (not sure if they are the same ones taking phone calls, but we’ve never had an issue there either).

Beware. Had I learned about this doctor from acquaintances, I would not have scheduled an appointment. Apparently there is a bait & switch going on at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. My son's original appointment was for Dr. Shadi Tabba, who has almost 20 years experience in endocrinology. At the last minute in the waiting room, he was switched to Dr. Yang. This has happened to other acquaintances who have been seen by Dr. Yang. In any case, he is friendly, but when discussing medical analysis & results, he is not keen on talking to the parents privately. He will tell your child they will no longer grow, crushing their hopes. I have consulted other doctors about this and they demand that we get a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinion. Caveat emptor, buyer beware! Beware. Had I learned about this doctor from acquaintances, I would not have scheduled an appointment. Apparently there is a bait & switch going on at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. My son's original appointment was for Dr. Shadi Tabba, who has almost 20 years experience in endocrinology. At the last minute in the waiting room, he was switched to Dr. Yang. I was very pleased with Dr. Yang and his staff. He was so kind and very informative. The office staff went over and beyond to accommodate my sons special needs. Thankful for such amazing care. Thank you Dr. Yang!

Haven’t seen him since I was maybe 15 I miss him he was a amazing doctor wish he was still my doctor

Dr. Yang is one of the most pleasant doctors I've encountered, and I'm happy to have his help in making sure my daughter is ok.

Dr. Yang diagnosed my son 5 years ago in Arnold Palmer. He takes the time to explain all the small nuances and confusing formulas that make up Type 1 Diabetes. We were terrified at first, but he spent inordinate amounts of time answering even the silliest questions. Over the years, we have trusted him on many big decisions and in rough times of ketoacidosis. He always remains calm and positive and keeps my son in a good temperment. I really cannot day enough about him or his office staff. They have become like second family and since we moved to New Jersey we can't find anyone who even comes close to the level of care we've been spoiled with. Dr. Yang has been my son's specialist for nearly 9 years. We have always been well informed of my son's condition, assured of his future, and consoled when things get scary. Dr. Yang and his staff are professional and friendly, and our appointments are always on time. Thank you for all that you do Dr Yang, and staff!

Please beware of stilling your money. MY child walked with me to his office with the results from blood test from other doctor, he just looked at it, said hat we need to go on diet, never touched my child. My boy after said: Mom you could tell me all that. For 2 min visit he charged $550, insurance covered 220, i billed $330. What a scam, we have no power even defend our selfs from stiller doctors like this. Margaret Kelly

He is nice, but he doesn't pay attention to details. Prescribed medicine just by family history not blood results. I'm never coming back again.

Dr. Yang and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and understanding! For a child or teenager, being diagnosed with diabetes type one is a very scary, life-changing experience! In fact, my son was 16 when he'd gone in for a physical with his regular doctor. We were not even aware at that time that he was diabetic. The readings from his urinalysis and fingerstick proved to be alarming and we were told to go immediately to Dr. Yang's office in Orlando! He and his staff were very matter-of-fact but kind and understanding as we processed the information. It's been almost 2 years since my son's diagnosis, and we have experienced the same kindness and patience as we learn how to manage diabetes. One of Dr Yang's nurses, who is also diabetic, brings his own personal experiences and understanding during our visits. I highly recommend Dr. Yang!
