While I think she may possibly be a great dentist, my experience was not the first impression I was expecting. More so the staff, rather than Dr. Joy. The entire visit was too quick to get a good gauge on the service. I showed up 10 mins early to complete paperwork and my child was called back less than 2 mins of us arriving. We went for a cleaning and check up. The visit was so quick, I literally was still completing paperwork after my child had been seen. Which leads me to believe the quality of service is not up to par. The cleaning lasted all but 2 minutes and the dentist was in and out less than 5. Can’t possibly have been a thorough cleaning. I might as well flossed my own child’s teeth if I known that’s all she would be doing. While I don’t care to be in any appointments longer than an hour, to just spend a total of 15 minutes was dissatisfying. I ultimately felt rushed to the point, the dental hygienist almost interrupted Dr. Joy answering my questions. It was not the quality service that I was expecting. Very disappointing because I was recommended to Dr. Joy with great reviews but after this visit, I’m not sure if I would give this dental office another try.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Best pediatric dentist in Virginia. Patient, clean and efficient. Best experience for children to have visiting a dentist. Dr. Joy is simply amazing!
