Terribly disorganized as a psychiatrist, very unresponsive staff. Would never go to her.

My experience echoes others' experiences. Although I like her as a person, she is terribly disorganized as a psychiatrist. At the moment I am almost out of a medication, and her phone just goes to voicemail. So I'm left reaching out to my primary care doctor, who feels uncomfortable prescribing psych meds, and needs to see me in person so it will cost more money. Dr. Riabova does not have your best interests in mind, and her lack of organization makes dealing with her frustrating.

Dr. Riabova was extremely difficult to work with and was unprofessional right from the first steps of setting up an initial consultative appointment.

Sad to say it but she is definitely the pill pusher type. Some appointments went well but during more than half she had a rude/ passive aggressive attitude. When I expressed concerns about my medications it felt as if she was belittling me and did not have my best interests in mind. One thing I will say is that the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming during all of my visits.

My son was diagnosed by Dr Riabova at 14 years old as Bi-Polar. Following 3 years of erratic and often violent behavior using prescribed drugs of Lithium, Depakote and Abilify we had him placed in Seattle Children's Hospital where he stayed for 5 days. Their conclusion was that he was NOT Bi-Polar and should never have been prescribed those drugs, especially as a minor child. They immediately stopped his medication on day two and he dramatically improved IMMEDIATELY. When confronted by these findings, Dr. Riabova stated to me over the phone that she cannot be sued because Bi-Polar is the most misdiagnosed condition of all. Very smart Dr. Riabova. Justified seeing him once a month for all that time for five minutes at a large fee on each occasion. WOULD DEFINITELY NEVER RECOMMEND HER EVER PERIOD! If I could give negative stars I WOULD! The years of unnecessary medication have affected our oldest son to the point he used every known drug to offset his behavior. We have five children and all felt scared and scarred by his presence due to his medications adversely affecting his demeanor. Simple fact, he broke up with a girl and his mother (a nurse) thought he should go see someone. Dr. Riabova decided he was Bi-Polar when in fact he was just slightly depressed. Seattle Children's said the medications WERE NOT HELPING HIM but may have contributed to making him at oftentimes psychotic! To this day he has many issues. We as parents feel we let him down. Thank you Dr. Riabova, your hands are clean.

The first time I visited Dr. Riabova, the lack of empathy and interruptions were disconcerting. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but it turns out that listening is not a skill she has acquired yet. My insurance wouldn't pay for another review, so I had to keep seeing her for a few more months until the new year. Each visit was the same - it was like talking to a wall. It was also a complete waste of time and I wish I had not spent my copays on Riabova. Plus she's always late!

Chronically late - seems to crank out prescriptions and that's about it.

She knowingly overmedicated me using combinations of meds that were beyond dangerous, she's unorganized, distracted, unprofessional and ultimately neglected the status of my mental health until I'd hit rock bottom and the only solution heard from her was to raise my dosages/ put me on ANOTHER med which I assume she was paid to give out. When I confronted her about fears that i was being overmedicated and expressed my therapists concern, she attacked my therapist for advising me to ask about it.

I couldn't understand her heavy accent. Plus, she's really rude. It took me 3 tries to get her to write a prescription that I had been taking for 10 years. She gets so easily distracted by random things. I do not recommend her.

This doctor was non-responsive to me during an emergency event with my child's newly prescribed medication. After 5 days without any communication. I confronted her in person. She told me she responds better to texts or emails, then she walked off to her office. I've heard others have had this experience as well, and I'm very concerned for her patients safety and well-being. Despite the rest of the amazing office staff, this doctor is terrible.

Very, very, very late. If you have a couple of hours to kill, then you might actually get to see Dr. Riabova. Besides that, there are papers falling out of every crevice of her office. I kid you not. There are so many HIPAA violations going on in this office, I would hate to be one of her ongoing patients. I left screaming myself.
