Very friendly and knowledgeable doctor. He explained everything and I felt comfortable speaking with him.

The very best in care. The staff, medical assistants, PA’s and Doctors are all super friendly and very professional. Would highly recommend!

The entire appointment process was very efficient. I was brought in on time and saw Dr. Monchik shortly thereafter. He's professional and personable.

Dr. Monchik was very knowledgeable and informative during my office visit. He took time to throughly review my records, hear my concerns and come up with a great treatment plan. The front office staff was pleasant and I was seen on time. I would definitely recommend Ortho RI!

Dr Monchik explained everything to me and he was easy to talk to.

Dr. Monchik is a top notch orthopedic!! I trust him completely with the care of my knee!

The place is phenomenal and has everything you could need under one roof. The staff is efficient and take the time to explain everything to you. I’ve also never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointments which is a huge bonus.

It was a good experience with Dr. Monchik. He is a very cheerful person, gets right to the point, tells you how it is. The only thing I didn’t like was him telling me I need surgery

This is the second time I have seen Dr. Monchik over a span of seven years. Both times I was impressed with the quality of the high-tech diagnostic equipment, the competence and cheerful attitude of the staff, and Dr. Monchik’s always sunny, direct, extremely relatable and thorough answers to all the questions that I had. I love that I am able to be seen, have x-rays taken onsite and immediately, and have a thorough evaluation and review of those x-rays directly from Dr. Monchik within the space of an hour. I trust him completely and am so happy to have my healthcare in his hands.

The staff was very polite and ready to serve us as soon as we came in. The nurse was friendly and she spoke Spanish. Dr. Monchik is such a pleasure to have as a doctor and he is funny. My grandma love that he was welcoming and warm hearted.

Dr. Monchik was efficient, communicative, had a wonderful "bedside manner" and took time to explain what was going on a what to expect. Overall a wonderfully positive experience.

Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor was friendly and caring. Not the place I wanted to spend time, but , they are helping me through my troubles. I truly appreciate getting an appointment quickly. Thank you!

Never have I experienced better care than at Ortho Rhode Island! From the greeters at the lobby desk to the appointment with the Dr. Everyone is friendly and helpful and gracious.

Have had numerous procedures with Ortho RI and my last was an ACL with Doctor Monchuk. He is a pleasure to deal with and although he is busy leaves you feeling that he cares and sets you at ease. I will be having another procedure with this Doctor and would highly recommend any of the physicians or physical therapy at Ortho RI. Dr. Monchik's treatment is hit-or-miss. He performed arthroscopic surgery on both of my shoulders. The right one has healed nicely and I have my strength. The left one has continued to give me trouble. I am currently trying to get my records sent to another office for further treatment and the records department hasn't followed through. I do not recommend this doctor, please do your homework.

Went to Dr Monchik about 7 years ago for a shoulder problem, severe pain in shoulder (Still cannot lift arm past shoulder height or even close to above my head) He diagnosed a torn labrum. He did surgery and put 4 posts in shoulder. 2-3 months after surgery PT was still causing severe pain, upon another full examination and another painful arthrogram revealed yet another problem that was completely missed. The bones in my shoulder were worn away and there is nothing he can do other than drill more holes in my shoulder that might help with the pain for a few years and then it will wear off. Bedside manner is not as important as a thorough diagnosis... Shoulder still hurts a lot after 3 months of appointments. I now want to have surgery as I can’t lift my arm above head, sleep at night without pain and bump my arm without sharp pain. But now I can get the doctor to respond to my phone calls. I have tried to contact the doctor everyday for a week and I have had no success. Now I have to start the whole process over with another doctor. Shoulder still hurts a lot after 3 months of appointments. I had the best experience with Dr. Monchik! I had a slap tear in my labrum and he went over the options and the procedure if I opted for that when I initially went to him. I opted for the surgery after many months of not being able to exercise to my fullest potentially without causing achiness and soreness in my left shoulder. The surgery was quick and it was an outpatient procedure so I was home that day. I am 6 months post surgery and feeling pretty good -back to running and exercising :). I highly recommend seeing Dr Monchik for an easy recovery! He answers all questions that you may have and is there for you! I had the best experience with Dr. Monchik! After mishap by other doctor, Dr Monchik was the first doctor that accepted taking care of me before I lost my leg.....

I had a great experience with Dr. Monchick. My knees have been bad for years and I know I will need knee replacement at some point. However he has been keeping me going for 3 years using injection therapy. Don't give up. He can probably help you as well.
