Dr. Khaldun Khatib

Love Dr. Khatib. Definitely one of the most sincere Drs I've ever encountered. I suggest he hire more staff though. They NEVER answer the phone and I'm trying, for the second time, to see if I get a call back.

I was a new patient and was exceptionally pleased with my first visit. I had a day surgery on 1/4/23 and the Doctor was attentive, addressed all my concerns and very courteous to me and my family member. Dr Khatib will be on my keeper list for any future Gastro problems.

Dr Khatib is a very compassionate, attentive & caring physician. He takes time to listen to his patients & address all of their concerns. He genuinely cares about his patients & their health. He is very knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of assisting him in the GI Lab, the care & compassion he shows his patients even when they are under anesthesia is above exceptional. I’ve watched him many years, talking to his patients & caring for his patients. I am so blessed to a patient of his myself. Dr Khatib has such an uplifting personality. He reassures his patients & takes care of them in a way that comforts his patients. Very concise and to the point with research needs and referrals.

Everybody was every friendly and the doctor was very informative.Now I just have to get better so I do not have further problems.

If I could give 0 stars for this so-called physician, I would. My husband was admitted with acute heart, kidney and liver failure. He was and still is critically anemic after this doctor did an upper GI scope in the hospital. Since the so-called physician didn’t bother to speak with me beforehand, I asked the nurses to see about a colonoscopy because of my husband’s strong family history of colon cancer. The nursing staff acted too scared to make the request for me. My husband was discharged in no better condition than when admitted. A word to the wise. Stay far away from Hunt County Regional in Greenville. The nurses are lazy; in fact, they were too lazy to stand in the heat when my husband was discharged. He was put on the curb like trash. No wheelchair and no nurse were with him. Because of this so-called lack of diligence, and even having my husband in a controlled environment, he apparently refused to do a lower GI scope. Now my husband has to be put under anesthesia again for a colonoscopy. I dub this doctor a quack. Stay far, far away from him if you are close to death. The check-in experience was trouble free; and the employee checking patients in and answering the phone was phenomenal!! She was so very caring! Dr. Khatib’s nurse was nice and had a quiet disposition. Dr. Khatib was friendly, asked very thorough questions and added some teaching during his interaction with me. Unfortunately, I wish I could say nice things about his procedure scheduler. I felt like she was somewhat rude and occasionally condescending when answering questions. Although I didn’t make it known, I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 26 years, and understood the instructions, medications, etc…. By the way Dr. Khatib’s scheduler acted, it tells me that she asks the same way to those patients who may not understand or even may not be able to process all of the new information due to being scared!?!? Hopefully the procedure scheduler was having a bad Monday! Also, the scheduler’s computer screens were raised so high, it was like I spoke to her through a brick wall…very impersonal! She lacked eye contact even when she RUSHED through the explanation of my procedure and medications. Very professional, listened to me, didn't seem to think I was crazy. Seem to understand my problem. Appreciated his staff and him.

Dr Khatib was very informative and asked questions about me. The staff was awesome.

Dr. Khatib is a very good doctor! He explains things in a down to earth way that is not hard to understand. He has performed procedures on me to get the best results and diagnosis!

His office & exam rooms are always Clean, free of clutter. Never over crowded, but maintain a organized flow. Staff is friendly, efficient and well trained. Top of the line in the field!

No I wouldn't tell anyone to see him I'd put it in the news paper of how sorry of Dr he is. My daughter has a blockage in a tube that goes to her liver, they ran a dye test and found it, and he refuses to do anything for. Her.

Dr. Khatib has been a great doctor and has helped me with the trouble I have had. He is very nice and very honest with you. He will answer any questions and explain things to you so you will know what is going on. He is an honest doctor and cares for his parents.

Everyone was very helpful and compassionate. I would recommend Dr. Khatib to everyone. He and his staff are very caring. I have had Gastrointerologist's in the past but none as thorough and quick as Dr..Khatib.

I am very disappointed that they did not do anything to get my Father who is 84 with breathing issue in sooner. I told them the urgency and it was still over 1 month wait.

I thought he was a great Doc when I first started going there...Had a colonoscopy 1 and half years ago... Having problem with GI bleed ,and I have called their office several times for an appointment.... All I get is a recording and no one returns my call... Now I'm having to see an Oncologist possible colon&liver cancer....But the staff or nurse aren't doing their jobs... I really like this doctor alot

This was my third appointment with him today. I love that he is very honest and straight forward to me about my health. Couldn't ask for a better Gastroenterologist.

He seems to really care, and that is hard to find these days.

Bailey, his office nurse is very helpful and seemed to ask all the right questions to the problem. Dr Khatib was informative, very nice and sensitive to the fact that this was my uncle.

I've been to countless gastro doctors trying to fix my problem and none of them could solve it. Until I met Khaldun. He helped me so much and understood 10x better than any gastro doctor would. Highly advise you to go to this doctor!

This doctor was referred to me for a colonoscopy. When his office called to set up the appointment for the colonoscopy, after telling the woman I had had one in 2010, she said they only did them every 10 years. Only reason I gave 1 star is because you can’t give 0 stars , takes a month to get an appointment then he only wants you to come in and maybe do blood work then the next time the same thing never hear any results. But sure is quick to send bill. Always at least an half hour wait after appointment times

I love Dr. Khatib. I have been seeing him almost 5 years now. He always remembers me, he listens, he explains things well and cares. He is wonderful and I love Christina and his other staff.

The scheduling office is very rude and not helpful. Our clinic tries to make it easier for our patients and try to make their follow up appointments with their specialists for them so that it is already done for them. They were not helpful or considerate and did not help us to do this for our patients. Would not recommend.

This White Coat Is Just As Lousy Dealing With Patients Just As The Other White Coat Named BONTHA Is And Was Too When I Saw Both Of These Lousy Patient Care White Coats About Two Years Ago, And I'm Happy I Never Allowed Either Of These Lousy White Coats To Medically Iodide Radiate Me Or To Allow Either Of These Lousy White Coats To Put Any Medical Body Checking Devices Into Me Two Years Ago. This is my second colonoscopy screening with Dr. Khatib, , this second one I was not happy with his services. He never came by to talk to me after the procedure was over. I waited for 1 hour 15 minutes on him. I did get a write up of the results but I wanted to know what to do next. I had 4 polyps removed plus a diagnosis that as to date never explained to me . No results from pathology or follow up care on what to do. I am sure I will get a bill promptly though on what I owe them!
