Dr. Laura Blach Thompson

I find Dr. Laura is very helpful, personable, down to earth and professional. Her staff has always been very responsive and helpful too.

I cannot sincerely recommend this office to anyone not because Dr Thompson isn’t a kind caring physician but my last three annual visit I have waited to be seen with an appointment in the waiting room up to a hour. I understand you see women that are pregnant but I am just as important. However when you ask me to come to my appointment 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and then another hour to be seen with an appointment doesn’t make me as a patient feel confident in your ability to manage your time let alone my health. Therefore I am no longer going to be a patient here. My time is as valuable as yours.

Dr Thompson has been absolutely amazing with me and my baby (second pregnancy). I wish I could have had her for my first. She listens and cares so much about every concern and sits to explain what’s going on, and never makes me feel like I’m over reacting. I’m so thankful to have found her, and will always recommend any pregnant momma to see her. Her MA, Amy, is just as amazing! They are a perfect team and I could never thank them enough for their care and loving nature towards my baby and myself.

I had an ectopic pregnancy and was in the ER and doctor Thompson was my OB. I left the er with no follow up from her office. I had to go in for weekly blood draws at a lab and they never called me with my results I had to call them or go into the lab and get results. My first pregnancy and I decided to choose Dr. St Pierre. She is so sweet and kind ! I didn’t know who to pick at first, but I definitely got a good feeling about her. And I was definitely right ! She’s awesome! Highly recommended! Thank you Dr. St Pierre ♥️

Dr Thompson is genuine and caring. She listens and remembers year from year your health history, care and even family. She’s very good at OB and Gyn. You can’t go wrong having Dr Thompson as your women’s health Dr. Thank you Dr Thompson for all the years of great care!

I love Dr. Thompson. She delivered our daughter (a high-risk pregnancy) and has cared for me since with the utmost professionalism, kindness and expertise.

My daughter used to go see Dr Thompson and my daughter liked her and so did I when I would go there with my daughter. Now that Dr. Thompson has moved to s different office. She is not nice no patience. She is always in a hurry. Dr. Thompson is very short in her explanation of things. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

I called earlier this week, told the girl "I'm in pain, I need to see her." the response was "April 5th is the soonest she can see you." 5 more months of pain? I don't think so. Getting an appointment for an annual? Good luck! Called in September last year for a January appointment - booked through December, don't have her January schedule yet. Call in December... I called in January she's booked until May. Had to reschedule, next appointment, September... Almost a year late... Now their staff doesn't make confirmation calls, so I missed the appointment. Dr. Thompson is very professional, knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. She takes time to answer all My questions and address my concerns. She has been my OB through both my pregnancies. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Thompson is a great doctor and a great person - truly a professional and a gentlewoman. I'm on my second pregnancy in her care, and while I won't miss being pregnant, I'll honestly miss getting to see her! She clearly loves the children she brings into the world, too, and treats my toddler like gold when he joins us. Amy, her assistant, is also to be commended - she's sharp, and the sweet bright light you get to waddle toward in a busy waiting room. (Busy, not late. I don't get how she and Thompson always pull this off - and make you feel like you're the only patient in the world, to boot.) In any case, it's rare to find a physician who's a scientist and a healer and a confidant in one. Laura Thompson is all these things. Go to her. Unfortunately I can only give one start. Dr. Laura was great. Her oiffice scheduler is the one that killed my whole experience. Very unprofessional and rude. I had my first appointment, at that time they asked if I wanted to do the end of the first trimester ultra sound reading for autism. I said yes, I literally called 1-2 Times a week for a month. She could not fit me in, I then asked please ask Dr. Laura for a referral out to get this done, I asked twice never received anything back.

Dr Thompson is terrible. At 27 weeks pregnant she "fired me" for medical incompliance because I had not had my blood work done in time. I was a couple weeks late getting it done because labcorp would not do it because I owed them money and ill was making payments. that is not medical incompliance. I had just paid off my $300 copay which she never refunded any of. The receptionist told me she sent me a certified letter to let me know and that some person named ilsa had signed for it. I don't know anyone by that name. And it sounds incredibly unprofessional that they would accept a signature from anyone other than myself or my husband. When I told the receptionist I didnt know who that was she became hostile and started raising her voice to me. My overall experiemce besides that was also poor. I waited about an hour every visit. Dr. Thompson was there every step of the way for me and my baby. She answered all of my question and was flexible with me on my due date. ( I had a c-section) Even though she ended up not delivering my baby. ( baby had other plans) She still came and check up on me to make sure we were alright.

Not a good fit for a mature patient. Exam was incomplete, no pelvic exam. Follow through on communication of test results was terrible.
