Dr. Barr is my favorite Dr in the world but his staff is the worse. I know he is very upset with the way my husband and I are NOT TREATED. Dr. Barr would never treat any patient this way! What the heck do you expect him to do? He is the Dr. He expects his employees to take care are of his patients, they don't!!!!As I am a patient what do we do? Top notch care and caring. Dr Barr is the best! I have been a patient of Dr Barr for 34 years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Barr and Midwest Cardiovascular Institute for cardiac care.

Dr Barr came to visit my father every day in the ICU at the end of his life. It was not the medical expertise, but his empathy and support during a most difficult time. His reassurance meant more to me than he could ever know. He exemplifies what a doctor should aspire to become.
