Dr. Ghia has been my gynecologist for many years. I have always loved her for her compassion and knowledge. She has always been very friendly and kind as well. I would recommend her all day long.

Dr Ghia is great. The wait time was very quick and she was attentive and answered all questions that I had. I highly recommend her!

It would be courteous & more respectful if the Dr. Ghia came in to review your recent history prior to the patient having to get into a gown with nothing underneath. YES, it takes a little more time, but it is so much more courteous, respectful, and thoughtful of the patient. As a nurse, I am always conscious of my client's comfort level. My previous gyne (who recently retired) did this for over 30 years. Dr. Ghia should consider this practice. No client likes to feel like a number. She should also be using hand sanitizer (or washing hands) in the presence of her client so that the client knows she performed hand hygiene between clients. Dr. Ghia was very thorough,understanding, knowledgeable about everything that I was dealing with physically. She took the time to explain what I needed to know, so would definitely recommend her to a friend.

It was my first time at her office, took my 15 year old daughter for her first visit with her, I called on my way there what there’s a big accident on the road and we will be running maybe 10 minutes late, her office staff said you guys are fine because we give 15 minutes grace time after the appointment so you’re ok, we were there at 3.14 and it took her 2 minutes to check in and she said you’re one minute late please come back and schedule another appointment, I requested to ask doctor because it’s only 1 minute, but doctor refused to see my daughter, I also work in a health care field, being a medical doctor you should have some compassionate for your patients, I am sorry I would not be scheduling appointment with Dr. Ghia, she must be a great doctor but lacks basic bedside manners for the patients. Dr. Ghia fit me in when needed. She explained everything that was going to happen and was quick. Always thorough.

I received excellent care from Dr Ghia. She answered all of my questions and offered timely appointments and procedures. She is competent and caring.

Appointment was rushed (15wks pregnant), she seemed to not care about my on going bleeding issue while pregnant, and only gallstones that I haven't had a single issue with this far at all. When I told her the last doctor had mentioned he wanted a follow up bedside ultrasound this appointment to make sure things still looked good with the bleeding, she replied with, "Why...it wont change anything..". So rude and uncaring. Made me so uncomfortable!

Dr. Ghia has been my OBGYN for over 17 years. She treated me successfully several time for various complications. I appreciate the fact that she listens to my concerns and offers answers and explanations. I strongly recommend her.

When my long-time Gyne retired, I chose Dr Ghia as a result of the care she gave a friend of mine with post-menopausal bleeding which was careful, considered and thorough. I am a physician and appreciate a thoughtful no-nonsense, well-explained approach from a professional who knows the indications for procedures and answers questions in a straightforward manner. I have been going to Dr Ghia for over five years now.

Always friendly and efficient with good advice when questioned.

I think Dr.Ghia is great. She never speaks down to me and I feel she is good at explaining her reasons for any treatment changes So glad I was able to return to her practice!

Dr. Ghia & her team are good people & they care. A caring doctor & staff aren't easy to come by & I've been blessed to have them. Im forever grateful!

Man, I guess everyone has different expectations but my experience at Elmhurst Hospital & Dr Ghia was amazing. ( gonna be a long post ..) Truthfully when I first came I was looking for someone quick just to get answers from for my concerns (Not a perm doctor) cause she's so far from my home in Indiana. But in one visit I'm confident I've found the right doctor&staff for me and will be a long term patient. Totally worth the distance. The front desk lady was so funny/easy going (I wish I got her name, an older lady with a nice accent) and Maria was super kind & had a great personality. Dr Ghia WAS very quick (She's got other patients to see so I understand!) But she answered EVERY question and concern I had & I left with real hope my problems will be addressed/fixed. She gave me answers that made sense, and diminished all of my worries. She showed genuine care for me & what I was going through, just in a stern way! Also I thought the Tropical Tree picture above the table you lay on was ~hilarious~???? Coming from a horrible OBGYN that was judgemental&rude (literally shamed me for having premarital sex and dating someone who has a child) spends 5 seconds with you & made me wait everytime an hour 1/2 to be seen.. I left here almost wanting to cry with how happy I was. I felt right at home. I'll happily drive 45 minutes to see her. I don't know how that will work out when the time comes when I have a baby with her being so far but I hope when it does it can still work out. Also, I was able to get into her way quicker than my other obgyn & seen much faster! Seriously, I wouldn't pay much thought to the negative reviews. This place is amazing. My previous provider retired and I was very nervous about seeing someone new. Dr. Ghia put me at ease and took great care of me...I’m so happy I found her.

I have been seeing Dr. Ghia for over 10 years and have nothing but positive things to say about her. Most importantly I trust her medical advice and feel that I have always been heard. She is kind at at the same time efficient. She is a good doctor and I would recommend her to others. The office staff and other doctors in the practice all are a pleasure to interact with. I also appreciate the extra protocol to keep everyone safe during COVID.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Ghia, she was very insensitive. This was my first time seeing Dr. Ghia she basically walked in the room and said she JUST wanted to talk about my health history, she came across extremely rude. Dr. Ghia made me feel extremely uncomfortable when conducting her exam, I felt violated and felt she was not listening to my concerns. Also, the information that she wrote in my chart was incorrect. I will never visit this doctor again.

I have seen Dr. Ghia for years and have always been happy. She is knowledgeable and competent. Her personality tends towards focused and businesslike which I appreciate and she and her team trust and empower their patients to be in control of their care. She even agreed to see my young teenage daughter who was having issues and I was particularly impressed with the care she took to help her feel better and in control.

Staff was friendly and Dr. Ghia was friendly, professional, and thorough with her pre-screening and examination. I'm glad I've found her in this practice.

Dr. Ghia diagnosed my post menopausal bleeding accurately quickly with care and concern. I was super nervous about a surgical procedure. She helped me to feel comfortable. That was no easy task. Love love love her!

Dr. Ghia is an excellent doctor. She takes the time to listen, never making you feel rushed, yet still keeps her wait times down. I’m always called back on time or shortly after arriving and never have to wait more than a few minutes to see her. I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a gynecologist.

Just FYI, was not an obstetric visit. Other than having to wait a very long time once in the room, I did not have an unpleasant experience with Dr. Ghia, and was surprised by so many negative reviews. Both the receptionist and the nurse who took my history were very nice. I thought she did a great job. I will say, tho, it would’ve been helpful if she remembered to ask if I had any questions. Thankfully, I asked about a concern I had and she checked it out...and I was relieved. The other questions came to me later but I was able to find the answers online. The only reason why it’s 4 stars.

Dr. Ghia was very attentive. We reviewed mine and my family's medical history. She asked lots of questions and made some important corrections in my record. My appointment was on time and she was courteous and precise before, during and after my exam. My experience was great.

Dr. Ghia may be the single most uncaring and dismissive doctor I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. She immediately dismissed my medical history, my family medical history, and my pain. She refused to do standard diagnostic testing beyond basic imaging, eventually put me on a course of strong medication (that I now know I should not have been on w/o a diagnosis), and claimed to be using that medication as a diagnostic tool. She was always rushed, usually rude, and extremely dismissive. It wasn't uncommon for her to cut me off mid-sentence and/or completely ignore what I was saying. She also routine's canceled by appointments, including times when I'd already checked in and was sitting in the waiting room. I kept seeing her in hopes of getting long-term relief and a diagnosis, but decided that enough was enough after two years. The final straw was having a pelvic exam hurt so badly I was in tears and she completely dismissed it and told me it was normal (it was not).

I saw Dr Ghia for a second opinion. I was seen promptly . I was given her nurse’s phone number to call if my symptoms returned ( she wanted to see me ASAP). Again , I was seen promptly. She gave me a referral to a specialist. I am very confident in Dr Ghia and appreciate what she did for me.

They cancelled my appointment 3 days before it was due and they randomly picked another date without informing me and when I did not show up they charge me for it. Such a scam. They never send any bill and now I got a letter from collection agency that I have to pay for sth I never got from them. Stay away if you do not want it to happens to you. I felt comfortable with Dr. Ghia. Took her time with me and was very thorough with my questions. Great experience.

Ghia is the word doctor experience I have eve had in my life. Sadly she was on call when I gave birth to my first baby. I was ready to push at 11pm. She came in the room, gave m instructions on how to push, then left me with a nurse pushing for 3 hours. She was clearly annoyed that I refused to push at the 3.5 hour mark. Came in the room yelling at me. With her yelling in my face he came out vaginally -But I had a 4th degree tear. It was the most miserable experience I could’ve imagined.

She is always in a hurry. I have been with her for 5 years. High time to change. If there was a minus star, I would love to give that to her..

Dr. Ghia came into the room unapologetic about her 30 min late arrival, which is unusual with other doctors. She was very direct and forceful in sharing her negative medical opinion. She rolled her eyes and sighed heavily at my comments. She seemed like she was having a bad day, but to have that encounter as our first meeting was inappropriate. I shut down and didn't ask the list of questions I had. The appt. lasted less than 10 mins. The other doctors and nurses are beyond wonderful!

After not seeing a gynecologist for about 5yrs, I decided to see Dr. Ghia. This was the McDonald's of gynecologists. When she came in, she seemed rushed. She was nice, went over a few questions that the Medical Assistant asked and then told me to change for the exam. It was super rushed, did not ask if I had questions or concerns, did not take her time to make me feel comfortable or explain what she was going to do. She spent a total of 7 minutes with me.

Dr. Ghia has always provided excellent care. She is a great listener and very compassionate with her patients. I never have to wait very long for an appointment and she is usually very prompt. I would not hesitate to recommend her!
