Dr. Albanese has been a godsend for me. I have worked with several other physiatrists in town, who seemed to only tolerate me and my symptoms and only prescribe heavy duty pain medications. Dr. Albanese listened carefully to my whole story and asked great questions allowing me to see that she was truly hearing me and understood. She has offered me a variety of different ways to treat my pain. This has allowed me to no longer take pain medications and allowed me to control my pain in less harmful ways. Dr. Albanese is always caring and responsive. She always listens carefully and explains to me in detail what she is thinking and prescribing. I can't imagine going to a different pain doctor (physiatrist).

I was being told I needed a hip replacement and tried so many sources from chiropractic to acupuncture to PT and physical therapy and massage. The first time I described the pain in my left hip area she said I feel it’s your Piriformis and gave me a shot of lidocaine... it relieved the pain almost totally. Went back to a second appointment and another shot of lidocaine and I’ve now been out of pain for a good month. I had had this chronic pain for over a year. She really knows what she is doing.

Dr. Albanese is the most caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable Doctor I have had the pleasure of working with since my accident left me physically and spiritually shattered. I was so used to being treated like another number whos only value was raising a profit margin. You will walk in feeling hopeless and walk out with a whole new outlook on your life. Her holistic approach balanced with Western medicine is very impressive and refreshing. I can not recommend her enough.
