The length of time it took front-desk staff to write a name and number on a sticky note and hand it to me was longer than the length of time I actually had with Villano. Since I had actual medical concerns rather than an interest in plastic surgery, he tried very hard to quickly pass me off to a different ENT. He asked me questions and immediately interrupted me as I started to answer. He wouldn't listen to my primary concern instead using a minor concern as an excuse to refer me elsewhere. Worst of all, in spite of COVID, and the mask-requirement signs on his own clinic's door, as soon as he entered my exam room, he pulled his own mask down below his chin and kept it there even when I repeatedly reminded him that I'm on immunosuppression.

I am too disappointed to discuss it.

Dr V. is incredibly skilled. Due to cancer I had two surgeries on my neck and you can barely see any scarring. I am very impressed.

Wasted time and money. He only cares about plastic surgery and making money off of you. If you have any ENT issues, DO NOT GO TO HIM.

Wanted so badly to love this. Had a chin augmentation to make my ptofile less round, called afterward to ask why they elongated my chin. Dr said he did not like the results either and removed the implant..... what happened??? I was never told or explained why the result was in the wrong direction. What happened? Went to this office for several years with basically the same symptoms. Each time I was told sinus pressure and given a nasal spray. Finally got frustrated and went somewhere else. They looked in my ears, saw my heartbeat rhythm on the drum and instantly knew something wasn't right. A few tests later and surgery was scheduled to repair a dime sized hole (doesn't grow overnight) in my temporal lobe that was allowing CSF to leak in my ear canal and nasal passage, as well as the brain pushing through pressing on the ear bones. You know, just a possible life threatening condition. But I guess this is what you get with an office that's turned its focus to making people pretty. Had to fill out another form reviewing my symptoms and he still didn't review it. himself and said "Come on" and waved me back. Next sentence out of his mouth, why are you here? Then cut me off when he heard the first thing he could fix and later blamed me for not telling him all of the symptoms. Didn't even know I had imaging before the consult. Got frustrated when he had to come back and look at the imaging. Ordered more imaging and didn't even send the order after I asked him and the MA twice. Would not recommend... Update... I called because my doctor referred me because I have a protruding nasal polyp inside my nose and I had been here before when I had regular insurance and had a biopsy. Now the nasal polyp has grown. When I called his office since I now have a share Ministry insurance the front desk reception asked about my insurance and said she could not make the appointment before I talked to the accountant. when I talked to the accountant after a few days, the accountant said unless I have $10,000 to pay upfront for the possible surgery they can't schedule an appointment to look at my nose and tell me what is needed. Sadly I had heard he was arrogant but a good doctor. I guess I can add that he has poor procedures for patients. It is possible that Healthcare billing is a pain and doctors look for the path of least resistance 2 getting paid and to insurance programs that just shell out $$$$. They deserve zero stars. The only other patient in the waiting room kept talking about how he couldn’t possibly be in the right place. Agreed. The doctor wouldn’t hardly listen and would follow up my concerns with condescending remarks then he scurried me out after less than 5 minutes with an order to schedule myself a hearing test. After I had results I spent the next couple weeks calling to schedule a follow up and pay my bill. They never once answered the phone or returned my messages. Ended up driving to Portland to speak to an ENT and even then had to sit in that office for an hour fighting to get my test released to that doctor. I now have a surgery coming finally no thanks to this office but I did find it interesting that they dodged me until they sent my bill I tried dozens of times to pay to a credit agency who is now looking into the bill for some random charges they added before kicking it to them. There’s a problem when debt collectors have more integrity than the doctor, staff and office. If you can’t be bothered by ear problems then just stick to nose jobs and Botox. They deserve zero stars. Review is exclusive for the Juvederm injections I received at Villano. Technician was extremely professional, helped to answer all of my questions ahead of time and made sure to address any of the apprehensions I had going in. She chose a filler that best fit my needs and gave very natural results - I’ve been very happy with the look as I continue to heal. The only reason this is not 5 stars is that I’ve been in to the office on a few occasions now and they’ve had me down for an appointment however the staff was unsure what treatment I was in for. Can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr Villano. Had a series of growths on the corner of my eye. Have had them all my life and always felt self conscious around people and affected my vision. But those days are gone for ever. There was some thought they might be cancerous but over joyied they came back benign.

Dr Villano is knowledgeable, thoughtful with care, an excellent surgeon, and is super kind. He listens, and his humor and disposition is a great comfort. He is an all round amazing doctor.

Wow! I had a micro needling appointment on the books for months. Each time I thought about it I would chicken out.Dr. Villano's staff was super sweet and promised to take care of me. They made sure my face was numb and thoroughly explained what they were doing and what it would feel like. The procedure didn't hurt and I love the results. After one treatment my face is fuller. My family had a great experience with Dr. Villano. My daughter had rhinoplasty and my son had his tonsils removed. Dr. Villano was very professional, and he has a great bedside manner. I appreciate his sense of humor! I would certainly return!

Dr. Villano was great in doing the cancer removal and removal of lymph nodes on my husband. He was so kind and wanted to help to make things as easy as possible for him. When it was time to sew up his face he went out of his way to get it done in a timely manner that worked for us. Would recommend him to all.

Husband had skin cancer removed from his nose over two years ago. He returned several times for follow-up because his right eye was watering profusely and was larger than the left eye due to the surgery. I went with my husband to one appointment. Doctor probed his nose and eye area without allowing enough time for the nova-cane to take effect causing a lot of pain. While doing this he chatted with his assistant about other things. Also, left a large scar from top of my husbands head down to the nose and the eye watering still is a problem as of today/ So, as a result of all this, when my endocrinologist referred me to Dr. Villano I asked for another referral. This edit comes today as a result of a courtesy phone call I received today from a member of Dr. Villano's staff. Although we both appreciate the courtesy call, we do not accept the explanation we received for the above complaints totally. We do understand that doctors in our area are overworked because there are not that many of each type of specialist in our area. I enjoyed my experience with microblading. The staff were courteous and they explained the procedure step by step. It was also a big help when they showed me pictures of previous clients and their experience with microblading.

I had been seeing many doctors over a 17 year period for severe pains in my throat. Many tests and scopes of my throat, none of the doctors could find anything that was causing the pain. Dr. Villano researched and found something that might be the reason for my condition. Dr. Villano referred me to a Surgeon at OHSU that had expertise in this area. Dr. Schindler confirmed what Dr. Villano found. Dr. Schindler did surgery May of 2017 to remove a 2 centimeter growth in my throat. No problems now

Dr. Villano did a terrible job on my wife's nose surgery, we had to go over to Oregon Health Sciences to have it fixed. It required several trips over and the expenses of motel and meals all out of pocket. Try to avoid this practitioner if you possibly can!

SO RUDE! UNBELIEVABLE!

If I could rate him and his assistant I would rate a zero. I scheduled a routine first time exam for a possible deviated septum. His assistant had me up on the exam table. He walked in, I told him his friend who by the way was a plastic surgeon physician referred me to him for a deviated septum. He immediately took a lighted hose an pushed it up my right nostril. I cried out and told him that it was extremely painful and that if I would of known that he was going to shove a hose up my nose that I wouldn't of let him do it. He immediately said, well we did one side and we have to do the other side. I grabbed his hand as he inserted into the left side. Yep, you have an extremely deviated septum and here is what it will look like if I fixed it. He gave me a mirror and quickly put a Q-tip up both nostrils and said you probably won't like it but this is what your nose would look like if I fixed your nose. I told him no, that wasn't what I wanted and that I wanted the deviation fixed, not my nose adjusted. He quickly ended the visit with a prescription of a nose spray that would possibly help with the inflammation. I was so upset with the painfull invasion of the tube up my nose, all I could think of was "get me out if here". As I reached the exit his assistant ran out and said "excuse me but you need to sign another release that I forgot to have you sign when you were filling out all of your information. I didn't care what i signed, I wanted out of there. I signed whatever it was an left. When I got to the car my daughter asked what happened?? I explained the horrific experience and said " I just want to go home". A month later I received the bill. He charged me not only the referral fee which I paid at the time of service but $300 to look up my nose. Apparently it was a procedure that I wasn't told about. He is a fraud. He just wants to adjust the look of my nose and not send me to a specialist who would actually fix the deviation. Don't go to him !!! If I could rate him and his assistant I would rate a zero. I've spent my entire life not being able to breathe reliably through my nose. And I spent most of that time not realizing this was really unusual at all, even as I developed related health problems such as sleep apnea and high blood pressure. Once I figured out that this was a root to a lot of the other problems I was facing, I got referred to Dr. Villano. It took a few months of trying out simpler alternatives first to ensure that's not all that was needed before I got scheduled for nasal surgery to reduce the size of my turbinates. Now I've spent the past week and a half .. never, ever *having* to breathe through my mouth. I had sinus surgery with Dr. Villano after a Dentist had probed a back molar and introduced bacteria into my maxillary sinus. Several other physicians had been unable to clear up my chronic infection. I had never had a sinus infection previously so was unaware of the symptoms or seriousness of my situation. Dr. Villano was able to take me to surgery and clean out the sinus and I was very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend him for any ear, nose, sinus or throat concerns.

He listens and answers all of your questions. His staff is very efficient, helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make your visit comfortable.

I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Villano quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful as was Dr. Villano. I came in for pain in my sinuses. My condition was diagnosed quickly and explained to me thoroughly, medication was prescribed and I was given explicit instructions. Dr. Villano and his staff were wonderful care givers and I would recommend his office for any ear, nose or throat issues.

Dr. Michael VILLANO - AMAZING! My Guardian Angel!! There is simply no quick way to express my gratitude to such a gifted and talented surgeon. Not JUST an ENT surgeon but with his plastic surgery skills he made my sinus surgery so easy. I never did experience pain, discomfort or fatigue. Yes, he is that good! I'd been sick for 6 months before I met him - he did everything he could to rush things but he takes the basics very seriously, including the things that I personally had to do to make sure he wasn't fighting the things we could control to ensure success and speed recovery. He's a very quiet and modest man and he's surrounded him self with a full staff of competent and friendly people. His surgical team at the Bend Surgical Center is exceptional....that place also gets an A+. It was all so impressive, professional and efficient. Like any popular doc, he's a very busy guy. I went to Dr. Villano for sinus headaches. He sat down next to me & I thought that he really wanted to get a handle on my symptoms & issue. In the process though, he must have yawned 15 times during the course of my visit. I was shocked that this happened and said nothing. I should have asked if I was boring him. I never had a doctor do that to me in my life.

Plastic Surgeon had no clue as to what it would take to "smooth out these wrinkles".
