Always caring and attentive

Took my mother for her appointment and the rude receptionist said she didn’t have an appointment. Mother is 90 years old and I would not have taken her without an appointment. Dr Trommler wouldn’t talk to me or see my mother. Terrible! Don’t go!

Dr. Trommler has always seen me as quickly as possible. He doesn't add a lot of fluff with his assessments, he says it like it is. Also, he is not a Pez pill dispenser, so if you are looking for Oxycontin for splinters or paper cuts it isn't going to happen. He is knowledgeable and diligent and gets to the bottom of your health problems. You will end up knowing everything but your DNA when he digs into your health problems. Dr. Trommler is the best doc in Kentuckiana. He is compassionate yet straight to the point. You won't find a physician that's more knowledgeable, dedicated and hardworking than Dr. Trommler! Period.

Great as usual !

I've always found Dr. Trommler to be a caring and professional care giver.

Over the years as a patient of Dr. Trommler, I have always found him to be very professional and informative. I would and have recommended using him to my family and friends. I would have given him 5 stars, but recently, I had to call in to get my x-ray results.

Arrived 15 minutes early as was told, stood in line for 12 minutes waiting as receptionist talked shop and was told I had to reschedule because I wasn’t 15 minutes early

Save yourself time, energy, and frustration and find a different practice immediately. If it were possible to leave zero star's, I certainly would. I was 2 minutes late for an appointment because I drove from Louisville, in rush hour and the doctor refused to see me even though I had been called in/scheduled by the staff. I had to call three times and leave three messages the week prior even get a call back to begin with. The staff at the front desk were rude and could not have cared less even when I openly addressed the reason why I was there and was needing help. I have spent my entire working career in healthcare and I have never been so disgusted at the treatment that I received. Clearly this office has lost sight of healthcare being about taking care of patients that need help. Will not go back for any reason and I encourage anyone reading this review look for another physician's office. Save yourself time, energy, and frustration and find a different practice immediately. STAY AWAY from that office. The staff apparently doesn't know how to order medications. Both my mother and father had so much trouble getting refills. They said that they would call back and never did. He mixed medications for my father knowing it wasn't a good ideabut he did it anyways. I begged him not to give it to him but he insisted. I have been a Medic for 18 years and knew that it wasn't a good idea to prescribe those two meds together. The outcome three weeks later....HE KILLED MY FATHER!!!!!

My wife goes to him. I'm thinking about going back to him

I have been with Dr. Trommler for years and always find him thoughtfull, responsive and ready with a smile. He doesn't waste time but he does discuss whatever the issue is at hand and the treatment he is prescribing.

I think it is a good and caring doctor but he over books and there is always a long wait

Office is totally disorganized. Wait time is hour and a half to two hours. Lost my prescription twice. One time, wrote a prescription. Pharmacy never received it. I hand delivered authorization for diabetic shoes to his office. They lost it, as in no record of it at all. Staff suggested schedule first appointment of the day to cut wait time. Still took an hour & 40. When I complained about this, was told doc would call. Never did. Instead, got letter terminating me from his practice. Stay Away

I have been seen by Dr. Trommler since moving here in 2000. He and his staff is excellent and have taken care of all my medical needs and provided referrals when necessary. Even when my insurance did not list him as a physician to use, I refused to change. He knows me when we see each other in the public and calls me by name. For my general health needs, Dr. Trommler is my go to man!

I have several family and friends that are patient of Dr. Trommler for many years. He has changed and his demeanor is the absolute worst physician I have had care from. He does not have the patients best interest and will tell his patient that he only has 5 minutes so hurry up while walking into the room (when they were scheduled and BILLED for a 15 minute appt). I don't know what has happened in his life, but he needs to consider retiring or switching careers.

Dr. Trommler is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable physicians in this area. He is always extremely pleasant and takes the time to listen to as well explain all procedures, medications, etc. in a manner that is professional yet understandable to his patients. While with his patients, he always focuses on you and never tries to hurry you through your visit. His staff is outstanding.
