Was referred to Mr. Oh and his team for full biceps tendon tear. Was blessed to have been sent to his office for care. Fantastic surgeon and has one of the best crews in Kyle, Joel and company I've interacted with at a practice, all good, kind, and skilled people

I saw Dr. Oh for a second opinion on my chronic elbow pain. He performed a much more thorough exam and took a more detailed history, providing a diagnosis without asking for unnecessary imaging. He provided a very detailed explanation of my diagnosis and treatment options. He was late for my appointment but made up for it by not rushing and making sure all questions were answered.

Dr. Oh is the complete package when it comes to a surgeon. As a surgeon he is top notch and coupled with that he has an amazing personality making it easy to feel comfortable. The best!!

In case you didn't already know, Dr. Oh is the best in the biz. He fixed my torn ACL and meniscus (arthroscopic), after carefully detailing the pros and cons of my various options. There's a lot to process for this procedure so his patience in explaining it all was very appreciated. Then a couple years later I broke my collarbone really badly, but I had no doubts on where I was going to have it fixed. I again got his signature compassion and patience (and a bit of humor). More importantly he executed the open reduction internal fixation procedure masterfully. He and his team will put you back together and re-injuring yourself in no time. Dr.Oh was phenomenal! He performed successfully two different surgeries, one on each knee on our daughter. He treated our daughter as if she was one of his family members. We will always be grateful to him and his entire staff. I highly recommend Dr. Luke S.Oh, MD-orthopedic Surgeon.

Dr. Oh is absolutely amazing! After seeing 3 other surgeons, we finally have answers and a plan for my sons complex elbow injury. We had to wait a while to see him but I understand why after he spent over an hour with us talking through every aspect of the injury. My son is a QB that has a future playing football in college. Dr Oh took that very seriously and came up with a plan to avoid missing his next season. He was the first doctor to truly consider what this sport means to my son and how he can help him achieve his goals while still making sure his elbow also heals properly. I could not possibly have better things to say!

Dr. Oh is the goat

I saw Dr Oh with hopes he could help me with my elbow. I left in tears. He examined me, declined to do any further testing than X-ray I had already done. He was not willing to look further to see if MRI Shows anything that could be treatable. He basically told me he couldn’t/wouldn’t help me. He asked more questions about why and who referred me to him. He made a comment that he works on sports figures. Apparently I am a no one if I don’t belong to a sports team. Being an orthopedic MD, one would think that he would offer some other option. He didn’t even suggest exercises, splinting etc. this is by far THE WORST treatment I’ve ever received. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone

Professional, highly skilled, experienced, and a really nice guy. Had multiple issues with shoulder; all resolved.... He did a great job of setting recovery expectations as I am in my 70s. Highly recommended without reservation.

Dr.Oh is simply an amazing surgeon. I tore my distal tricep tendon, had surgery in april & 6 months later i have full range of motion. I'm no spring chicken either I'm in my 50's & to recover as well as i have its amazing. if you need a surgeon he is the man. Plus he's just a nice person.

Dr. Oh and his team are fantastic. I had arthroscopic repair of a completely torn rotator cuff with Dr. Oh. My shoulder is better than it has been in 10+ years. He and his staff do everything they can to have you seen quickly and advise you on all your options to treat your injury. I would recommend you see him for any orthopedic injury.

Excellent in Every Aspect! From the initial interview with Kristy in June of 2020 to the final post-surgical follow-up in May 2021 Dr. Oh and his team delivered. It is refreshing to see that "the healthcare sector" has not entirely eclipsed something those if us of a half-century or more in longevity recall fondly; we called it "the practice of medicine, " and it is alive and well here. I suffered a chronic, retracted, large, traumatic rotator cuff tear with extensive synovitis in the glenohumeral joint, shoulder impingement and subacromial bursitis, requiring extensive reconstruction and biceps tenodesis. Despite being 56 years old, the surgery and postoperative care were so expertly conducted that, less than a year out, I am at 100% functioning and 5/5 on all strength scores. Doctor Oh went above and beyond what I expected. Dr Oh and his team were quick and professional to answer any questions or concerns. In my opinion they are the best in the business. Dr Oh repaired my ruptured bicep in Dec 2020 and 4 months later it really is gaining strength with no pain. It is a six month recovery and Dr Oh has monitored progress on a regular basis. Dr Oh and his staff have been responsive and great to deal with, he very knowledgable surgeon I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Oh was fantastic. His office staff and PA's are terrific as well. My daughter had a somewhat rare, severe gymnastics elbow injury, and we needed a surgeon with LOTS of experience with the elbow. We did a lot of research and met with several surgeons before choosing him. It was a long road to recovery, but Dr. Oh put her back together again, his care and skill were fantastic. He has a wonderful bedside manner both with kids and parents and talked us through all the steps of the process. Five years ago when I was a young lad of 68 years Dr. Oh performed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. At 73 yrs I had my left rotator cuff done. Both highly successful procedures. Dr. is not only an A+ surgeon; he is a consummate gentleman. Additionally, his support staff is excellent.

Dr. Oh performed a rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder, and I now feel the best I have felt in a long time. I have regained total, pain -free movement of my arm, and sleep comfortably all night long. I highly recommend Dr. Oh to anyone who has joint problems or a sports injury.

I came to Dr. Oh with a severely torn rotator cuff. Thanks to a work-up by his Physician Assistant, Kirsten Halsey, I was able to obtain an MRI which had been denied me for years in favor of physical therapy. My shoulder was so badly damaged that Dr. Oh suggested a [reverse] total shoulder replacement. After learning that I could not swim effectively with that remedy, I requested that he do a repair instead. He agreed and performed the operation noting that it was 100% more difficult than the usual repair. The repair was beautifully executed as seen in photos of the operation and my shoulder is now completely functional following months of physical therapy. I couldn't be happier. I can't say enough about Dr. Oh. I took a spill skiing and another Dr. put me through PT and told me I had a 98% tear of my rotator cuff and needed surgery - no hesitation in this Dx. Wanting a second opinion, a family member told me to try Dr. Oh telling me he isn't one of those surgeons who thinks surgery is always the answer. At my first appointment, within 10 minutes, he told me I did have a tear in my cuff (though probably not nearly 98%), but I also had a "frozen shoulder". He wanted me to rest my shoulder (no PT or other stress) and give it time (possibly 6 mos - 2 yrs). Once the frozen shoulder heals he would better be able to make a determination about the significance of the tear. 11 months after my fall, my shoulder is nearly 100% recovered and I'm confident (and so is Dr. Oh), that the remaining recovery will come soon. No Surgery required! On top of his knowledge, Dr. Oh has a great manner and takes whatever time necessary to explain things in terms you will understand. My daughters have been seeing Dr. Oh now for almost 3 years. My daughter started seeing him due to OCD in the elbows at 11 years old. We think so highly of Dr Oh because of his approach with our daughter. He understands children and adults for that matter are passionate about their sports and activities and helps them find ways to continue that passion safely. He puts much effort into coming up with a plan for his patients and lets them in on the decision making. He is always researching current topics and is an expert in his field. He is very knowledgeable, has great bedside manner, and took time each appointment to make sure he heard any concerns, or questions I may have had and that I understood what was happening. I had LUCL reconstruction in March and with his expertise and physical therapy I have full range of motion and my strength is almost completely returned. I saw Dr. Oh in 2015 at MGH Boston for latéral and medial epicondylitis of the R elbow. He was straightforward and exacting on how I might want to proceed. He explained everything so clearly it was blinding. He told me things about how my life could be improved in so many ways I can’t go into detail. Being a classical percussionist, he advised treatments of the future. Following his council, I have been able to actively continue my profession. Dr. Oh is the best doctor I have ever encountered. He is special and I believe guided not only by science and experience and a brilliant mind but by his abilities to contact regions of the cosmos seldom humanly seen. I owe him my life.

Dr. Oh saw me in October of 2019. He explained the degree of my rotator cuff injury based on imaging that he reviewed. He provided a couple of options with surgery being the most involved, but with the best long-term outcome. I reluctantly had surgery in late November with the hope of reducing the pain and getting me back to golf and weight-lifting and other activities. Dr. Oh performed the Rotator Cuff and torn bicep surgery at the same time. I was given very clear time-lines and expectations about how involved this recovery would be. I never, not once post surgery, experienced any significant pain. I assume this is due to a combination of excellent surgical technique, awesome pre and post op pain management (nerve block, etc..) and clear explanations of post surgical care. Dr. Oh's Physical Therapy protocol was "pretty careful and conservative". I followed this to the letter and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE OUTCOME. Dr. Oh, his staff and the OR staff are the best.

Dr. Oh has repaired multiple torn ligaments for me. In all cases I was able to make a rapid and full recovery. I can't recommend him enough.

I haven’t stopped laughing about this appointment. After a cortisone shot and PT from another Dr. I went to Dr. Oh after 11 weeks of pain and failed treatment. He took no new images even though the pain was worse and different, but the hilarious part was he told his assistant “give him a business card to get a cortisone shot in his bicep, if you can’t get in maybe see a radiologist. But get him a business card.” So I have a business card and a sore shoulder and going to look for a real doctor now. Don’t waste your time. I haven’t stopped laughing about this appointment. Fantastic experience for ACL and meniscus surgery.

Dr Oh is the top of his profession for a reason. The surgery to repair my injury often results in range of motion issues. I have full range of motion. I had zero setbacks post-surgery and his plan for rehab was excellent. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done!

Extremely welcoming and easy to talk to. Made me feel confident at all points of my pre and post op! I hope I never have to go under the knife again; but if I do, it will be under the hands of Dr. Oh!

Dr. Oh is a top notch physician in every way. I was anxious prior to my shoulder surgery and when I asked to speak to Dr. Oh, he was at my bedside immediately. He listens to what his patients have to say, is patient, and never rushes through your appointments. Dr. Oh did a fantastic job on my shoulder and is so knowledgeable in every sense of how a patient should be proceeding during recovery. Couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Did a lot of research for a complete distal bicep tear, and consulted multiple doctors. Dr. Oh was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of knowledge, communication, and comfort. He offered a clear and concise explanation of all my options along with the procedure for each, and then gave his expert opinion, but ultimately left the decision up to me. Urgency was given to my bicep repair and from top to bottom the staff in Foxboro was amazing!

Our experience with Dr Oh and all of his staff was extraordinary! Each and every contact with the staff was professional and caring. We felt the communication and trust was constant throughout the experience.

Dr. Oh was great! He is very thorough and concerned about me and providing me the best care he could. He provided support and answered all my questions prior to, during and after my procedure.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Oh for rotator cuff surgery in December, 2017. He took as much time as my wife and I needed to have our questions and concerns addressed. I had the utmost confidence in him and have recommnd d him to others. I hope I do not need another surgery like this one but, if I do, Luke Oh will be the first doctor I consult.

Dr. Oh was the third Orthopaedic surgeon I saw for evaluation of a rotator cuff injury. I was so happy that I had done my “homework” and went with Dr. Oh! He was so thorough in my initial appointment, took the time to review my MRI with me and show me just where the issues were, and how they would be repaired! I cannot thank Dr. Oh enough for his expertise, professionalism and care!

I would highly recommend Dr. Oh as a surgeon. After having torn 3 out of 4 rotator cuff tendons and my bicep tendon, Dr. Oh performed extensive surgery. He did an extensive examination before surgery to pinpoint the problem areas and explain what I should expect after surgery. I am now 5 months after surgery and feel almost no pain. I attribute that to Dr. Oh's extensive knowledge, expert surgical talents, answering my concerns, and leading me to a qualified rehab therapist.

Awesome Experience! I had a botched elbow surgery with a different Dr 20 years ago leaving me with range of motion issues that effected many of my activities. I have tried for 20 years to find a Dr who had the willingnes and skills to fully repair my elbow. After being referred to Dr Oh by another well accomplished surgeon and meeting with him I was confident I finally found the surgeon that could help me. Post surgery I have 100% range of motion again and feel like I have hit the lottery.

After dislocating my elbow so severely that I didn't know if I would ever throw again, I came for an opinion from Dr. Oh and he made me feel comfortable from start to finish. Now I'm on my way to 100% and can't thank Dr. Oh and his team enough!

Dr. Oh has been terrific from the gate. He gave me clear expectations from the beginning and they all came through. I am now graduated from my recovery and would say I am 97% back to normal. I had a bicycle accident and went over my handles bars. Landed on my right elbow which cocked back my shoulder. My rotator cuff was severely torn as well as my bicep tendon and ligament. Awful. I am grateful for the success of the surgery, & the physical therapy I received next door to his office.

From the first patient interview Dr. Oh was professional and patient oriented. He answered all of our questions, even a couple of tough ones. On the day of surgery he was immediately in contact with my wife following the procedure and his PA and staff were attentive and helpful. We already recommended Dr. Oh to a family member who chose Dr. Oh for similar surgery. Successful Rotator Cuff Surgery Patient

I saw Dr. Oh for a fully ruptured distal biceps tendon. I found him to be highly competent and caring. He took the time to explain my options and answer all my questions. He repaired my tendon surgically and I have had virtually no pain or problems through the surgery and the process of recovery. I feel very comfortable in recommending Dr. Oh.

Dr.Oh was one of the best doctors that I have visited. When I had my first appointment I was injured for two years at that point and had visited numerous doctors. Dr. Oh was able to find the problem and fix it with only a 10 month recovery. During every visit he remembered all the information I would tell him even if it didn't have to do with my injury. I am now able to go back to playing softball pain free and will always talk about how he helped me be able to do this.

Dr Oh preformed Tommy John surgery on our son, a D1 pitcher. Throughout the entire process communication and follow up from Dr Oh and his staff was outstanding. It's been 11 months since his surgery and he will be returning to action this fall. We would highly recommend Dr Oh and his staff.

Excellent experience with ACL reconstruction. Dr Oh took the time to listen to my goals and concerns and during recovery took time to explain the healing process quite thoroughly. Highly recommend. And his assistant Kristy is amazingly efficient.

Dr. Oh expertly repaired my elbow after a major trauma. He and his staff were always quick to respond to my inquiries before and after surgery, and the level of information I received throughout was exceptionally thorough and well-tailored to my needs as a patient. I don't feel I could have made the excellent recovery I've achieved without Dr. Oh's outstanding treatment, and I will be forever grateful to him for his help.

I hadn't seen Dr. Oh since he performed surgery 7 years ago (last surgical followup), and he remembered many details without looking at his notes. Very good at giving you the full story, along with his honest suggestions. Continues to be highly recommended in my book.

I had surgery on April 8, 2015 of my pectoralalis major tendon. After a year of rehab on my shoulder I was still very sore but felt better day by day. I instilled a lot of trust in Dr. Oh when he ensured me I would be close to 100% after surgery. It took an immense amount of rehab to get back to close to 100%. As of recent I have surpassed previous achievements and have never felt as good as I do now. I have recommended Dr Oh to numerous people in need of help with shoulder issues. Thank you!

Dr. Oh is very professional. He took my concerns seriously, made sure all tests were properly done, and described all of my options thoroughly. He walked me through each step and showed me rather than told me what the results were. Most importantly, I trust him. None of my concerns seemed trivial, which made me feel comfortable giving all information that he could decide whether or not had importance, and allowed me to ask any questions, no matter how dumb they seemed.

I am grateful to have Dr. Oh take care of me. Having swam competitively for more than 8 years, developing Elbow OCD in my freshman year of high school was a huge setback. Dr. Oh was extremely patient and compassionate, agreeing to perform arthroscopy, as my family was concerned about risking my knee with OATS. Since then, I have had countless follow ups with Dr. Oh, and he has been closely monitoring my recovery. 9 months later, my elbow is great and I am even faster than I was before.

When my son was diagnosed with a torn UCL as a 16 year old we were fortunate enough to be recommended to Dr Oh. It was clearly a scary moment for him, and our whole family but Dr Oh was both patient and supportive. The surgery and rehab went well (another benefit of being in the MGH system if you will) I'd highly recommend Dr Oh and his entire team.
